Amigo Bingo Sister Sites 2024

Amigo Bingo is a charmingly retro website. Because of that, and also because it offers that most British pastime of bingo, it’s easy to believe that this is a perfectly safe iGaming site to spend your time and money with if you live in the UK. Don’t make that mistake, because it isn’t. Amigo Bingo is owned by The Bingo Affiliates, and The Bingo Affiliates doesn’t hold a UK Gambling Commission licence. In fact, The Bingo Affiliates doesn’t hold any recognised iGaming licences of any kind. If players encounter problems while playing at the Amigo Bingo sister sites and can’t get help from the site they’re playing at, they’re stuck. There’s no regulator to assist, and the site’s decision is final. That’s why we consider the Amigo Bingo sister sites unsafe, and provide the details below for information purposes only.

Bingo Australia

Bingo Australia logo

Each of the Amigo Bingo sister sites was developed to serve a different target market. We bet you can’t guess which target market Bingo Australia was designed to serve. We’re joking, of course; we know you can. There’s a koala bear in the logo, so where else could it possibly be but the Land Down Under? The Bingo Affiliates network is fantastically old by the standards of modern iGaming companies, and Bingo Australia is another example of that. It’s been online since 2002, and the version of its website that operates today looks broadly similar to the version that first went live more than twenty years ago. There hasn’t been much in the way of innovation here.

The crowded homepage of Bingo Australia can make it a little difficult to know what’s going on at the site, which is another thing that you’ll find is true of all of the Amigo Bingo sister sites. We can see that there’s a massive welcome promotion available for new players, but the precise terms of the offer are nowhere in sight. It looks like there are deposit offers every day, slots (or “pokies,” as the Australians call them) to play, and cashback offers, but we have to admit that looking at the Bingo Australia homepage for too long gave us a bit of a headache.

Canadian Dollar Bingo

Canadian Dollar Bingo logo

The only other member of the Amigo Bingo sister sites family (other than Amigo Bingo itself) is Canadian Dollar Bingo. Like Bingo Australia, it was designed by Bingo Affiliates to serve a particular market. You’ll no doubt have noticed that the target market this time is Canada. What gave it away? It was the beaver, wasn’t it? Oddly, Amigo Bingo doesn’t seem to have a specific geographical focus like Canadian Dollar Bingo or Bingo Australia do. It’s possible that it’s supposed to subtly appeal to players in the United States of America, where online gambling is illegal in most states, but some websites serve the market anyway.

You only need to look at the Canadian Dollar Bingo once to see that it’s a very close match to Bingo Australia, which suggests that it was probably made using the same template even though it’s a little younger in relative terms – Canadian Dollar Bingo didn’t come online until 2005, making it the latest addition to the platform. The values of the promotions offered on the Canadian Dollar Bingo homepage appear to be roughly equivalent to those at Bingo Australia, but the same disclaimers apply about the site’s licensing status – there’s no safety net here.

Amigo Bingo Review 2024

Online casinos have been with us for a very long time now, but before there were online casinos, there were online bingo sites. The first online bingo sites appeared on the internet in the mid-1990s, and although Amigo Bingo wasn’t one of those pioneers, it wasn’t far behind them. It’s been online since the year 2000, and it shows. There’s something a little “Microsoft Paint” about the Amigo Bingo logo, and the narrow, block-built style of the Amigo Bingo website is very “turn of the century” too. It’s certainly not a site that’s going to win any awards for style, but does it have redeeming features? Let’s see.

Amigo Bingo sister sites homepage

Amigo Bingo Welcome Promotions

The list of promotions at Amigo Bingo is long, but you’ll find that only one promotion is marked for the attention of new arrivals at the site – the 1000% “Welcome Bonus Package.” The golden hello at Amigo Bingo splits across three deposits, with a 600% boost on deposit one, a 400% boost on deposit two, and an unspecified “great reload bonus” on the third deposit. As such, the figure of 1000% is a touch misleading – it’s impossible to get the whole thing in one go. Without knowing what the value of their third bonus is or what the wagering requirements of the bonus funds are, it’s impossible for us to say whether this promotion is good or bad.

Other Promotions

As we said above, the list of promotions at Amigo Bingo is very long, but some of the promotions you’ll find on it are temporary. We visited the site close to Christmas to write this review, for example, and there was a “12 Days of Christmas” promotion going on. There was also a “Fifteen Million Slots” tournament happening with an alleged prize fund of £15m, but that was also time-limited. The more permanent promotions at Amigo Bingo include things like the fifty free spins players can receive by logging in on Wednesdays and Sundays and the daily reload offer of up to 200%, dependent on the size of the deposit made.

To get the best rewards out of Amigo Bingo, you have to use Bitcoin – something which didn’t even exist when Amigo Bingo was created. The site’s mascot “Bitcoin Bob” gives out up to thirty free spins per day, an additional 200% matched deposit bonus boost, and the promise of up to £500 in bingo bonuses for every ten deposits made. There’s also a subtle loyalty scheme working in the background of the site that sees the value of matched deposits available to you very gradually increase as you make your way up the ranks.

Pros and Cons of Amigo Bingo

Pros: To be honest, we’re struggling here. Maybe some people find value in the promotions at Amigo Bingo even though their key terms and conditions are undeclared. The tournaments might be fun to compete in, and there’s a free bingo room for those who don’t want to risk their own money at the site.

Cons: This is a bingo site with only three bingo rooms, one of which is only open at certain times of the week. The site is one of the most horribly dated we’ve seen during all our time reviewing iGaming sites. Withdrawals are processed once per week with a £500 per week cap. Customer support is limited to email. The site has no iGaming licence. We could go on, but we’re sure you get the point.

Top Games at Amigo Bingo

Given that this is a bingo website, this should be the part of the review where we tell you about the site’s extensive range of bingo games and options. Sadly, we can’t do that because the range isn’t extensive. There are three bingo rooms online at Amigo Bingo at the moment, and one of them is only open between 4pm and 7pm on Saturdays and Sundays. That leaves the free bingo room and the seasonal room, which had a “12 Days of Christmas” theme when we visited it but will presumably be replaced by something else when Christmas is over. That’s not a lot of range.

Amigo Bingo pads out its iGaming repertoire by also offering slots, but even then, there’s not much to choose from. Most of the slots on the website are drawn from a single provider – Mobilots – with stakes restricted to 10p per spin. It feels like there are more promotions at Amigo Bingo than there are games to play, which isn’t the best way for a bingo site to operate.

Withdrawal Processing & Support

Things continue to get worse as we check out the withdrawal processing framework at Amigo Bingo. Getting money into the site isn’t a problem – deposits can be made using debit cards, Bitcoin, bank transfers or American Express and are credited in seconds. Withdrawals, on the other hand, are processed once per week on Wednesdays and take 24-48 hours to process. That means if you try to make a withdrawal on Friday night, you’re looking at the following Thursday or Friday to get your money – and that’s only if you’re using an e-wallet to request the withdrawal. Other methods can take longer. The final insult is the fact that withdrawals are capped at £500 per week, and anything larger than that is paid out in instalments.

Customer Services & Licensing

There’s a contact form on the Amigo Bingo website, but if you don’t want to go through the rigmarole of filling it out, you can send an email to [email protected] instead. That’s as far as customer support goes at this website – it doesn’t provide any live assistance. It doesn’t provide any licensing, either. Amigo Bingo doesn’t have an iGaming licence, so the site is totally unregulated. The same situation applies to the Amigo Bingo sister sites, of which there are currently only two. If the operator ever adds new casinos to its platform, we’ll let you know.

Amigo Bingo – The Verdict

We try to keep an open mind when we’re reviewing iGaming websites, but we can’t work out why anybody would want to play at Amigo Bingo or how the site has managed to remain online in this sorry state for more than two decades. It doesn’t have enough games, it keeps players waiting far too long for withdrawals (assuming it processes them at all), and it looks terrible. Websites like Amigo Bingo would be better off in a digital museum reminding us what the early days of iGaming looked like rather than remaining online and trying to compete with modern bingo sites that have so many better features. Ultimately, the fact that Amigo Bingo doesn’t have a licence means we can’t recommend it, but even if it did, we wouldn’t.
