Betheat Casino
After Betcake Casino had been given the space of a few months to prove itself, Entools Ltd became a lot bolder. Not only did it add its name to the footer of Betcake (having previously referred to itself as ‘The Betcake Group’), but it expanded the Betcake sister sites family with the launch of Betheat. On paper, Betheat should be a casino that takes all the lessons the operator has learned from Betcake and applies them, taking the whole iGaming experience to the next level. It even appears to do that by offering a welcome bonus larger than that of Betcake on its homepage. Sadly, Betheat is a reminder that looks are often deceiving.
Despite claiming to offer £1250 in welcome bonus cash, the sign-up offer at Betheat is capped at £1000. The alternative welcome bonus for sports betting is just as poor at Betheat as it is at Betcake, and the overall quality and depth of the casino’s portfolio remain weak. In short, we don’t think there have been any improvements made at all, and even if there were, we still couldn’t recommend it on account of the casino’s lack of licensing. We hope that problem has been fixed by the time the next member of the Betcake sister sites family arrives.

Betcake Casino Review 2025
You might have gathered from our summary above that we have some concerns about Betcake. We make no apologies for that. A casino without a licence is something that ought to worry every player – even those who are happy to take on higher-than-average levels of risk. However, we’ll still be fair and objective during this review of Betcake, and we’ll start that by acknowledging that it has a great theme. After all, who doesn’t love cake? It’s a simple-looking casino, but its unique theme and layout make it stand out on first impressions. Some of the bonuses that it offers on its homepage might grab your attention, too, so let’s take a closer look at them and see if they hold any real value.
Betcake Casino Welcome Offers
Betcake offers both casino games and sports betting and has separate welcome bonuses for each activity, so we’ll deal with its general casino welcome bonus first. It’s an offer of up to £1200 in bonus cash through a series of matched deposits. First deposits get a 100% match up to £300, followed by 50% up to £300 on deposit two, 75% up to £300 on deposit three and then back to 100% up to £300 on deposit four to round things off. A minimum qualifying deposit of £10 is required each time; the wagering requirement is consistent at x35, and you’ll need to enter a code to claim the bonus with each deposit. Check the Betcake Casino Promotions page to confirm the codes.
For sports betting, the Betcake welcome bonus is a matched deposit of up to £200 with your first deposit. We presume a code has to be entered to claim this bonus, just as you would with the casino welcome bonus, but no such code is given. The minimum qualifying deposit is £10 again, but the playthrough requirement is x9. Sports betting bonuses usually come with wagering requirements of x3 or x4, so the one at Betcake isn’t great.
Ongoing Promotions
The one bonus you can always rely on seeing at Betcake is its cashback offer. Players are offered a steady rate of eight per cent cashback on losses per week, which should be added automatically. Players who don’t get their cashback are asked to contact the casino’s support team so it can be added manually. The maximum amount of cashback a player can receive is £300, and the funds have to be rolled over once before they can be withdrawn.
The other bonuses at the casino are periodic. As an example of that, we reviewed Betcake in September, and there was an offer of free spins on the Wild West slots game with every deposit made during the month. However, this was a temporary promotion – it was scheduled to end as soon as September did, and will presumably be replaced by something of equivalent value. Those who prefer to use the Betcake sportsbook than its slots can get boosts of up to 100% on winnings from accumulator bets.
What are the Pros and Cons of Betcake Casino?
Pros: Betcake has an unusual, original, and appealing theme that helps it to stand out in a very crowded international iGaming market. Its cashback offer is reasonably generous and comes with fair terms and conditions attached. The same can be said of its casino welcome promotion.
Cons: The sports betting welcome promotion is nowhere near as attractive as the casino welcome promotion on account of its ugly wagering requirements. The overall selection of slots and casino games at the casino is extremely limited, which is a product of the fact that Betcake operates without an iGaming licence. That means it’s actually breaking the law by accepting players from the UK.
Top Games at Betcake Casino
Sports betting is a big part of what Betcake does. It claims to have over five thousand slots (we have reservations about the accuracy of that figure), but a lot of the space on the Betcake homepage is taken up by links and logos for its football (“soccer,” in the site’s parlance), basketball, tennis and baseball odds. It’s great that the casino has such extensive sports betting opportunities, but we think the focus on sports betting may have arisen because of the overall weakness of the general Betcake Casino iGaming portfolio.
There are enormous thumbnails on the homepage of Betcake identifying and advertising the three most popular online slots games at the casino. At the time of our visit, those slots were Dogmasons Megawoof, 88 Dragons Bounty, and Guns & Dragons. All three of those slots come from a provider called Popiplay. We’re sure Popiplay does a fair enough job of making online slots games, but we doubt you’d find anything from its studio advertised so prominently on the homepage of a casino that had access to better slots from better providers. The “providers” page of Betcake claims that the casino has access to slots from the likes of Pragmatic Play and Yggdrasil, but we saw no evidence of this.
Withdrawal Processing and Support
There isn’t a payments page or a banking page at Betcake, so what we can tell you about its withdrawal policy is limited. The logos of Mastercard and Visa appear towards the bottom of the casino’s homepage, as do the logos of Bitcoin, Tether, USDT, Dogecoin and several other forms of cryptocurrency. We assume that these methods are all valid for both deposit and withdrawal. The full terms and conditions of Betcake state that withdrawals are usually processed within three days, but that the casino can’t offer any guarantees on that front.
Customer Support and Licensing
There’s a live chat widget always in view on the Betcake website no matter which page of it you’re looking at. We can understand that support can also be requested by emailing [email protected]. About halfway down its homepage, Betcake claims to be listed by licence number #365/JAZ in Curacao. That would be a valid Curacao eGaming licence number, but there are several licensing authorities in Curacao, and Betcake doesn’t specify which one it holds a licence with or offer any proof that the licence exists. As such, we believe Betcake to be unlicensed. This would probably be true of any Betcake sister sites that may or may not exist out there in the iGaming wilderness.
Betcake Casino – The Verdict
As much as we appreciate the cute theme of Betcake, there are way too many red flags here for us to be comfortable with it. It’s automatically off-limits to players in the UK because it doesn’t have a UKGC licence, but even if you live somewhere else in the world, we’d still be wary. Claiming to hold a licence without offering any proof is a party foul, and the persistent suggestions that Betcake might have risen from the ashes of Betbeard are troubling – especially when it’s impossible to verify the identity of the company behind Betcake. We’d be inclined to give it a wide berth.
