BetGem
BetGem sister sites include Vipzino, MySpins, Katana Spin, Wbetz Casino, F7 Casino, Crystal Roll, and many more.
BetGem Casino (betgem.io) is operated by Shir Khan Media Ltd of Costa Rica.
BetGem Sister Sites 2025
BetGem doesn’t look very much like the casinos we’ve identified as BetGem sister sites. That’s unusual for this network of iGaming sites, all of which tend to be connected by the template and software platform they share rather than the name and location of the company that operates them. BetGem doesn’t use this template, so how can it be connected? The answer lies with just one of the BetGem sister sites, MySpins, and the slightly clumsy way the casino was put together.
When we reviewed MySpins, we noticed that the wording of the casino’s promotions kept referring to BetGem.io rather than MySpins.io, revealing a connection between the casinos that we might otherwise never have noticed. Tenuous as it might be, it’s the only link we’ve got – the company behind BetGem has ensured that its name doesn’t appear anywhere on the casino’s website, so if it isn’t Shir Khan Media Ltd, we have no idea who it is. We’re as confident as we can be that the casinos below are BetGem sister sites, and we’ll update the list if we’re ever proven wrong.
Vipzino
If you pop over to our Vipzino review, you’ll soon spot that we’ve named its operator as Veklen Global VG SRL, a Costa Rica-based company—stated as such on Vipzino’s own website. But, take a closer look at the licensing register from the State of Anjouan, and the picture changes entirely. It turns out Vipzino is actually listed under Greenwich N.V., a Curaçao-based company that also runs Crystal Roll. This connection places both Vipzino and Crystal Roll in a distinct branch of the BetGem sister sites network. It seems pretty likely that Veklen Global and Greenwich N.V. are part of a bigger parent organisation, which might be true of this whole network. With such uniform software and setup across the board, it’s hard not to believe a single company is overseeing the whole platform. Can we say this for certain? Not quite yet, but the clues all point in that direction.
MySpins
MySpins is the kind of name that gets straight to the point. It’s a mononym that tells potential players that the casino is all about slots, and this member of the BetGem sister sites family doesn’t let anyone down on that front – it comes with close to five thousand of them. It also won’t disappoint bonus hunters – the welcome promotion at MySpins is massive, and the terms and conditions that apply to the bonuses are fair. However, there are some equally massive red flags here, one of which being that many of those terms and conditions have been copied and pasted directly from BetGem. It’s a sloppy thing to do, and it suggests a lack of attention to detail on the operator’s part. More worryingly, we’re unable to verify that the licence that the casino claims to hold actually exists – the regulator has no record of it.
Katana Spin
If you’ve ever spent time playing the award-winning “Ghost of Tsushima” on the PlayStation or have even a casual interest in Japanese history, the word “katana” might sound familiar. For those who don’t know, a katana is a classic Japanese sword famously associated with the samurai. That iconic weapon serves as the creative spark for Katana Spin’s theme, giving the site a striking appearance that stands out from pretty much all others in the BetGem sister sites collection. But let’s be honest—beyond its flashy visuals, it’s the same story all over again. These casinos often feel like cookie-cutter clones, offering nearly identical games and promotions. There are occasional exceptions, but they’re as rare as hen’s teeth. So, if you’re picking one to try, you might as well go with the one that’s easiest on the eyes—and for many, Katana Spin takes the prize.
Wbetz Casino
The BetGem sister sites have all found some level of success, thanks to, in no small part, their popular style and (usually) straightforward bonuses. That said, some make more of a splash at launch than others, and Wbetz Casino, which appeared in November 2024, barely made a ripple. Since then, it’s stayed pretty much invisible—and it might stay that way indefinitely. None of the casinos in this loosely linked network are particularly adventurous when it comes to themes, but Wbetz takes minimalism to new heights. With its plain white background and no-frills design, it feels almost clinical. Even the name, “Wbetz,” doesn’t give much away—it’s not exactly memorable or meaningful – we don’t even know what the “W” is there for. Perhaps it means “win?” If this casino hopes to grab attention, it’s going to need to step up its game.
Crystal Roll
Crystal Roll is another brand that’s become one of the quieter additions to the BetGem sister sites network, slipping in without the usual fanfare that new arrivals often bring. When it made its debut in 2024, it did so with no marketing buzz at all, leaving us to speculate whether the operator might have a promotional blitz planned for later. For now, it sticks firmly to the well-worn formula that defines the rest of the network. That’s not necessarily a criticism—why mess with a system that works? However, it does mean there’s nothing particularly fresh or innovative about it. If you’re a fan of the usual BetGem sister sites style and don’t mind the predictability, you’ll likely feel at home. But if you’re after something with a bit more flair or originality, this one might not hit the mark—it’s just more of the same.

BetGem Casino Review 2025
BetGem deviates from the usual look and style of the casinos on this network, but it’s made of the same key ingredients. In truth, it might have been made of too many of those same key ingredients, and not enough attention was paid to them when those ingredients were copied over. For evidence of that, look at the two bonuses advertised on the BetGem homepage – a 150% bonus up to £3000 for the casino, and a separate first deposit offer worth up to £3000 for sports betting. Neither of those bonuses actually exist, and BetGem doesn’t actually offer any sports betting bonuses at all. That means the homepage is full of lies and we’re off to a shocking start, but let’s see if the casino can recover.
BetGem Casino Welcome Promotions
The bonuses here might not be what was advertised on the homepage, but they’re significantly larger than what you’d usually see at the BetGem sister sites, which is a definite plus. In fact, the bonuses here are so good that they’ve been copied and pasted, including the name “BetGem,” to MySpins, which is a different casino on the same network. That’s what’s known in the trade as a “big whoopsy.”
As for the bonus itself, it’s a three-tier matched deposit scheme that starts strong with a 100% match up to £2500, plus fifty free spins on your first deposit. The second deposit offers a 50% match, also up to £2500, along with another fifty spins, while the third deposit bumps it back to 100% up to £2500 with yet another fifty spins. Altogether, that’s a potential £7500 in bonus funds and 150 free spins, all tied to a refreshingly low wagering requirement of x25. Again, it’s not what was promised, but it’s a strong proposition overall.
Other Promotions
BetGem’s “High Rollers Bonus” offers a one-time 50% match bonus up to £2500 for deposits of £25 or more. The same wagering terms as the welcome bonus apply here. On Sundays, players can claim a 25% match up to £1000, subject to identical conditions, and there’s also a weekly cashback deal ranging from ten to twenty-five per cent, depending on your VIP status.
Speaking of VIPs, this would usually be the part where we’d break down the perks of the loyalty scheme. However, BetGem is frustratingly tight-lipped about the specifics. There are five VIP levels, but how you progress through them or what’s required to qualify remains a mystery. This secrecy suggests it might be an invite-only affair. Another noteworthy point is the lack of sports betting bonuses—a surprising omission for this network and something to keep in mind if you enjoy the odd bet on a sporting matter.
What are the Pros and Cons of BetGem Casino?
Pros: Let’s start with the bonuses. BetGem puts together thousands of pounds in potential bonus value for new players, and pairs those big pots with comparatively low wagering requirements. That’s how you offer new players a warm welcome, and it’s above average for this network. We’re also impressed by the massive number of slots and games available.
Cons: The homepage promises bonuses that aren’t actually available. That’s especially disappointing for sports bettors, who are promised a £3000 bonus only to find that there aren’t actually any bonuses available to them here at all. Unlike the more respected members of the BetGem sister sites family, this casino is trading without a licence or any regulation.
Top Games at BetGem Casino
BetGem actually lists the top action from its sportsbook above any of the slots or other casino games on its homepage. The next big fixtures in football leagues across Europe will be the first thing you see, with clickable buttons to take you to tennis, basketball, e-football, and the other major sports that the sportsbook covers. The top slots are directly beneath these fixtures, and they’re an eclectic mix. Classics like Wolf Gold and Gates of Olympus by Pragmatic Play line up next to lesser-known titles like 9 Coins Infinity by Wazdan and Burning Chilli X by BGaming. There’s a lot of range and diversity here.
If you want to know what’s hot in the BetGem live lobby, just keep scrolling down the homepage until you’ve passed the most popular slots. Surprisingly, Turkish Roulette by EZ Dealer was the top pick on the day this review was written, followed by a generic-looking Auto Roulette title. Things got a little more exciting after that, though, with Music Wheel the most popular of the casino’s live game show options, and Cocktail Roulette and Live Keno also available. New games are added every week, game shows have their own special category, and a selection of crash and instant win games is also linked to the homepage.
Withdrawal Processing & Support
We’re not as clear on this as we’d like to be on account of BetGem not giving us a banking page, and not going into detail about withdrawal methods in either its FAQ or its full terms and conditions. The logos of Google Pay, Apple Pay, Revolut, Visa, and Mastercard appear on the homepage, but only in the context of “buy crypto using a card.” That would normally lead us to believe that BetGem is a crypto-only casino, but there’s a brief mention of supporting e-wallet, credit card, and debit card withdrawals in the terms and conditions. Whatever method you’re able to choose, it looks like the turnaround time is between one and three business days across the board.
Customer Services & Licensing
Plenty of the BetGem sister sites have licenses. BetGem doesn’t, though, and that means it’s illegal in more places than just the United Kingdom – unlicensed, unregulated casinos shouldn’t be considered safe by anybody, anywhere. If you want to speak to the support team, you can get them either by emailing [email protected] or opening the live chat widget. Perhaps you could ask them why their casino is unlicensed.
BetGem Casino – The Verdict
A lot of things about BetGem confuse us. We don’t know why the promotions on the homepage aren’t the same as the promotions that the casino actually offers. We don’t know why elements of its terms and conditions have been copied across to another casino. We’re not sure why it takes up to three days to process a withdrawal when some of its sister sites can process them instantly, and we really don’t know why it’s unlicensed. We’d be happy to re-review BetGem if any of these issues are improved upon, but so long as it remains in this condition, it’s not safe.
