Bingo Cafe Sister Sites 2024

THE BINGO CAFE SISTER SITES ARE NOT COVERED BY A UK GAMBLING COMMISSION LICENCE.

Cash Cabin

Bingo Cafe sister sites Cash Cabin

The Bingo Cafe sister sites are an unusual bunch. They belong to a company that’s based in the Channel Islands, which would normally mean that their focus is the UK market. However, they don’t have a licence to operate in their local market. Instead, Ellipse Entertainment Limited holds a licence from the Alderney Gambling Control Commission and uses that licence to target players in other parts of the world. In the case of Cash Cabin, which is the only one of the Bingo Cafe sister sites that focuses on slots and casino games rather than bingo, the target market is somewhere in North America. We know that because its welcome promotion is listed in dollars. Given that online casinos are still illegal in most of the United States of America, we assume that Cash Cabin intends to serve players in Canada. How well it does that is another matter – it’s a very plain-looking casino site.

Bingo Liner

Bingo Liner logo

“Liner” is an odd word to use in the name of an iGaming site. In the UK, we associate it with bins, and who wants to have their online casino or bingo site associated with taking out the bins? That wasn’t the intention of Bingo Liner’s designers, though – they want you to see the name “Bingo Liner” and think of cruise ships, which is why there’s a life ring in the site’s logo. Other than that, you won’t find too many differences between Bingo Liner and Cash Cabin. They have the same games on their homepage, use the same colour scheme, and even share the same nautical theme. They also both look very basic, which is something that all the Bingo Cafe sister sites have in common. Ellipse Entertainment Limited is yet to enter the modern age of web design, so all of its sites look a little bit “retro.”

Jet Bingo

Jet Bingo logo

On its homepage, Jet Bingo claims to have been “voted #1 online slots.” It doesn’t say who voted it as #1 or when, but it’s an odd claim to make for what’s supposed to be a bingo site. Like the other Bingo Cafe sister sites, Jet Bingo was designed with players in Canada in mind, so it’s another one that you ought to be going nowhere near if you live in the UK. To be perfectly honest, we don’t think there’s much at Jet Bingo that would be likely to tempt the average UK player anyway. There are dozens of world-class bingo sites available in the UK marketplace, and we don’t think Jet Bingo would be likely to trouble the top 100 if we were to rank them in order. Perhaps that has something to do with the fact that it clearly considers itself to be a slots casino rather than a bingo site despite its name.

Can Bingo Cafe Be Trusted?

trust score

★★★★★

Bingo Cafe is a 3-star trusted casino.

1. Licenses and Fines Bingo Cafe holds a licence from the Alderney Gambling Control Commission. We have no information about fines.
2. Accepts UK players? The website blocks registrations from the UK, which is exactly what it should do based on its licensing status.
3. Trustpilot Score N/A – Bingo Cafe has never been reviewed on Trustpilot.
4. Operator Name & Location Ellipse Entertainment Limited is based in the Channel Islands.
5. Bonus Terms Wagering requirements are much lower than average at x20.
6. Customer Support Live chat is always available, but Bingo Cafe also has an email address and a telephone number.
7. Withdrawal Speed & Options 24-hour turnaround on e-wallet withdrawals. Other methods, including debit cards, are available but take longer.
8. Number of Sister Sites The three Bingo Cafe sister sites are profiled above this table.
9. Games portfolio A little over 80 games – very low by comparison to the standards of top bingo and casino sites.
10. On GamStop? Bingo Cafe is not on GamStop.
Overall SCORE > ★★★★★ – 3/5 Stars

Bingo Cafe Review 2024

The Bingo Cafe website is roughly the same colour as a decent cup of coffee. That’s about the kindest thing we can say about the standard of presentation at the site, which is badly behind the times. None of the Ellipse Entertainment bingo and casino sites look particularly attractive, but Bingo Cafe looks especially ugly. On reflection, perhaps the colour choice wasn’t a great idea. If you’re not immediately put off by the 1990s look of Bingo Cafe as soon as you land on the homepage of this Canada-facing iGaming site, here’s what you can expect from it.

Bingo Cafe Welcome Offers

The first thing you’ll notice about Bingo Cafe (other than its ugliness) is the promotion that’s advertised in the middle of its homepage under the banner “Voted #1 Online Slots & Bingo.” All of the Bingo Cafe sister sites make the same unlikely claim, so we don’t put much stock in it. The promotion is a 100% matched deposit of up to £300 on the first three deposits a new player makes after signing up to the site. That’s a maximum possible total of £900 across the three deposits, with a low playthrough requirement of x20 attached to the bonus funds. It’s a decent offer.

As well as getting matched deposits, new players at Bingo Cafe get a time-limited cashback offer. It’s ten per cent on all deposits made during the first week. We can’t find a stated maximum for this offer, so we presume it’s uncapped. That’s reassuring to know if you’re unlucky during your first week and end up making heavy losses.

Ongoing Promotions

If you stick around at Bingo Cafe, you can take part in a loyalty scheme that has six tiers, three of which (Newbie, Bronze and Silver) you’ll pass through automatically by making your first three deposits. After that level, players start receiving “re-deposit bonuses” (matched deposits by any other name) at each level they reach and gain access to new features. Our issue is that some of these features are vague. We know that players gain access to “Mega Bingo” and “Special Bonuses” from Bronze level up, for example, but we don’t know what that means in practical terms.

Players at the top two levels (Platinum and Diamond) also received personalised VIP promotions, a dedicated account manager, VIP gifts and tickets for in-person events, including holidays. However, there are no benefits listed for Diamond level that aren’t also available at Platinum level, so we don’t know what the benefits of Diamond level membership are. Players who want to jump the queue can go all the way to Gold status by depositing £200 in a single day, and all the way to Platinum by depositing £1000 or more.

What are the Pros and Cons of Bingo Cafe?

Pros: The Bingo Cafe welcome bonus is generous and has customer-friendly terms and conditions attached to it. The loyalty scheme might have real value if you’re capable of reaching the higher levels, too. Customer support is available via phone, email or live chat, and e-wallet withdrawals are processed within a single day.

Cons: The site has been online since 2003, and it shows. It looks ancient, and the feeling of being dated isn’t helped much by the tiny selection of slots and games – there are fewer than one hundred titles to choose from. The material benefits of the VIP scheme aren’t as clear as they could be. We think that the “voted number one” boast that the site makes on its homepage is a lie.

Top Games at Bingo Cafe

As we said above, Bingo Cafe isn’t blessed with an enormous number of games. In fact, all the games on the website appear to come from Ready Play Gaming, which is a mostly unknown, smaller-scale developer. Its claim to have developed Wild Lion as “Canada’s Hottest New Slot” is unlikely to be true for several reasons, not least the fact that the game has been out since 2021. We’re focusing on slots here despite the name of this iGaming site being “Bingo Cafe” for the pure and simple reason that we can’t find any bingo games here. The disconnect between the name and the content is a strong and strange one.

The aforementioned Wild Lion is the most prominently advertised slots game at Bingo Cafe, which suggests to us that neither the website nor the portfolio of games has seen any updates since 2021. Moonlight Panda and Blazin’ Buffalo also appear on the casino’s homepage, so slots with animal themes appear to perform better than slots of any other kind. Then again, with fewer than one hundred games available across all genres, it’s not like players are blessed with a huge amount of choice.

Withdrawal Processing and Support

If you have an e-wallet with MuchBetter, Payz or Skrill, you should be able to get your withdrawals within 24 hours of asking for them. Players are welcome to use their Mastercard or Visa debit cards if they’d prefer, but will likely be waiting somewhere between three and five business days to get their money. Withdrawals made using transfer services like Interac are likely to be a little quicker, landing in somewhere between one and three business days.

Customer Support and Licensing

Live chat support is available 24/7 at Bingo Cafe, but if you’d rather speak to a real person, you can give the casino a call on +448 081 683 637. Failing that, the Bingo Cafe email address is [email protected]. Bingo Cafe is covered by the licence that Ellipse Entertainment Limited holds with the Alderney Gambling Control Commission. We’ve verified that the licence is legitimate and that it covers all of the Bingo Cafe sister sites.

Bingo Cafe – The Verdict

Bingo Cafe is a lot better than it looks, which is damning the casino with faint praise. There’s a lot of money to be claimed from its welcome promotion, and the terms and conditions that come with the promotion are balanced and fair. While we’d appreciate a little more detail about the VIP scheme, we think it’s likely that players might get a decent return out of that, too. Where Bingo Cafe falls down is the lack of games and, most importantly of all, the fact that it doesn’t appear to have any bingo games or rooms at all. The name “Bingo Cafe” is misleading, and misleading potential players from the moment they land on your website for the first time is never a good idea.
