Iceland Bingo Sister Sites 2024

Rise Casino

Rise Casino

From the looks of their interface, Rise Casino certainly is pleasant to look at, and between the robustly modern theme and the water flow like responsive design, we can’t decide what appeals to a primal game more. The game collection is where they let players down a little, with a little more than 300 games being provided on their all instant-play site.

A welcome bonus isn’t a lot impressive too, with only a small package of 25 free spins being provided to all those slot lovers that deposit for the first time. The free spins may only be used on selected games that vary from time to time, with the winnings having to be wagered 40 times to be credible for a withdrawal.

Jazzy Spins

Jazzy Spins

Jazzy Spins, an online casino that mostly caters and focuses its energy on the UK market of online players, is the epitome of bringing classical music back from the dead. The site features marvellous artwork that depicts various jazz instruments, with a cool and aesthetic interface with some of their most played and top games pinned under the “New Games” section on the landing page.

After the first deposit by a new Jazzy Spins player, a 100% match of up to £25 and 60 free spins are credited in their account, which, like the previously mentioned Bingo Iceland sister site, is loaded with a 40x WR that has to be completed before any withdrawal can be made.

Two Fat Ladies

Two Fat Ladies

The brand owners of Two Fat Ladies, which is 8Ball Games LTD, seems to have a lot of stories to tell, considering how humourous their name is. Two Fat Ladies, which is also a bingo call that traditionally has a lot of other alternatives, is a hearty and wholesome themed site that is rich when it comes to their bingo options which include Overalls, 90-ball, 75-ball bingo, and many others in this list.

However, aside from their bingo games, players will also notice a stream of high-end video slots like Starburst on their homepage, where most of their hot games are present. In the same manner, players can also find scratchcards, some table games, and arcade games on Two Fat Ladies.

Moon Games

Moon Games

Featuring space and moon centred themed and design, Moon Games features a good collection of video slots on their site, but in the never-ending universe of online casinos and slot sites, their slot collection isn’t quite on par with other casinos, especially their own sister sites. Banking options are fairly moderate, with e-wallets like Neteller and PayPal being provided, with all first deposits being credited with a 100% match and 100 free spins.

Costa Bingo

Costa Bingo

A long-running bingo site operated by one of the best operators in the market, 888 UK Limited, and has been running on Dragonfish software even since its inception back in 2006. It’s relatively easy to why they’ve been active and famous for so long, considering the responsive website design, multiple operating licenses that they’ve acquired, and a good collection of games in both the bingo section and slot one.

Roxy Palace

Roxy Palace

One of the better-known online casinos in the market, Roxy Palace is vegas inspired casino that was launched back in 2005 and is a Microgaming Casino that acquires a lot of video slots, table games, and poker titles from this software provider. The brand owners have done a pretty good job at modernising the vegas theme on this site, and with the recent addition of live dealer games from Evolution Gaming, Roxy Palace is better than it was at its inception.

XL Casino

XL Casino

Not as XL as their name implies, the interface on this casino makes it seem way small, even more than it actually is. The site features a midnight purple colour scheme throughout its website pages and provides players with games like video slots, progressive jackpots, and some other casino games.

Iceland or Prize Land?

2021 saw a big chance at Bingo Iceland – so big, in fact, that it’s no longer called Bingo Iceland. The correct name for this popular, well-established casino and bingo site is “Prizeland Bingo.” The changeover happened in May 2021. We’re not one hundred per cent sure why the site was rebranded, as it was a popular name and had been advertised several times on British television over the years. A full rebrand would normally be expected to follow either a takeover or an issue with a regular, but neither is the case here. The site’s parent company, the 888 Group UK, must have decided that the time was right for a change, and so they went ahead and made it.

The rebrand has been applied to the former Bingo Iceland Facebook page, which has almost thirty thousand followers. The message doesn’t appear to have got through to the people who run the Twitter account, though. The casino is still labelled as Bingo Iceland there and hasn’t seen a new post since November 2020.

Is It Connected To The Supermarket?

As amazing as this might sound, yes, Bingo Iceland was connected to Iceland, the frozen food store that’s a fixture on so many British high streets. We have no idea whether a casino company approached Iceland or Iceland approached a casino company, but the casino was launched with the full promotional backing of the supermarket in 2012. It’s probably one of the strangest brand extensions we’ve ever heard of, but that’s what happened. The only thing more remarkable than that is the fact that it worked.

At the time the website launched, a spokesperson for Iceland said they’d conducted surveys with customers for several months and realised that enjoying bingo games was a common theme among their shoppers – especially female shoppers. Believing there was a gap in the market, Iceland opted to provide those longed-for bingo services directly rather than leaving money on the table and letting their customers spend their bingo money elsewhere.

This unlikely marriage lasted almost ten years until the 2021 rebrand happened. There’s no longer any mention of Iceland on the new Prize Land Bingo website, which makes us wonder whether the split was acrimonious. Visit the former URL (www.bingoiceland.com), though, and you’ll find a holding page featuring the old name and logo, which redirects you to the new Prize Land site. The logo for the new site is identical save for the change of name.

The success of the Bingo Iceland website made many players and casino operators wonder – with some trepidation – whether the doors were now open for other supermarket giants like Tesco and Sainsbury’s to start offering casino websites. To what we assume is the immense relief of other casino companies, that hasn’t happened yet.

TV Adverts of the Past

Back when the site was in Iceland’s control, it had the privilege of being supported by Iceland’s marketing budget. That made it possible to advertise on television. You can still find those adverts on the now-abandoned Bingo Iceland YouTube channel. The adverts were mostly of the generic kind, showing everyday people playing bingo games in their homes or in the back of taxis, accompanied by the kind of perky voiceover we’ve come to expect of such commercials.

The exception to the “same old advert” rule was a bizarre commercial from 2014, which saw two enormous, sad-looking ducks walking hand in hand down a high street until they stopped in front of an Iceland store, where there was a party going on. The party turned out to be full of people playing bingo with Iceland, and the ducks cheered up immediately. It was strange, but it was also memorable, and that’s the whole point.

New Brand, New Adverts

Having worked so hard to promote Bingo Iceland and get people familiar with the brand name in the past, 888 Group now has to do the same thing again without the backing of the supermarket. That makes going back to television a necessity – and that’s exactly what they’ve done. Prize Land Bingo started airing its first-ever television commercial in October 2021. It comes complete with a catchy jingle. Rather than focusing on typical bingo, slots, and casino prizes, the commercial focuses on the casino’s multiple technology giveaways like new Xbox consoles, fifty-inch televisions, and Apple watches.

Short-form videos are regularly posted to the Prize Land Bingo Facebook page, usually dealing with the giveaway or best promotion for that week or month.

Working Smart

Focusing on product giveaways rather than traditional casino or bingo prizes isn’t something that Prize Land Bingo reserves for its television adverts. The approach extends to the homepage of its website – and it’s something the company has been very smart with. At the time this review was written, the site featured a “PS5 Prize Room.” Playing bingo in that room gives players a chance to win an elusive PlayStation 5 console in time for Christmas 2021. The new-generation consoles have been hard to find ever since they were launched in 2020 because of high demand and supply issues, so this is likely to be a compelling reason to play.

The promotion won’t last forever. In fact, if you’re reading this in 2022 or 2023, it’s long gone. If Prize Land Bingo continues with this approach, though, it’s likely to have something just as desirable positioned in the same place. This might be the future of casino marketing. All the best casino websites offer the same slots and games, so it takes something special to make a difference. Picking hot tech brands and offering their products as prizes might turn out to be a great way to get ahead.

High-Profile Ownership

The connection to Iceland meant that this casino never had to worry about promotion or having big-name backing in the past, but that might change now the backing is gone. Fortunately for everyone connected to the site, high-profile backing still exists in the shape of the site’s owners 888 UK. They’re one of the biggest casino brands in the country and have sponsored everything from Nottingham Forest football club to the Portuguese Moto GP. So long as they’re involved in Prize Land Bingo, the casino will probably never have to worry about its future.

Iceland Bingo Review 2024

Bingo Iceland casino is an online casino by a popular online gaming company 888 Holdings. Just like the name suggests, players are bound to find more bingo varieties from the 90 Ball to the 75 ball bingo rooms.

iceland bingo laptop screenshot 2021

The site is well maintained. It has a white background and bright graphics over it to represent all the games. The navigation tab at the top left corner of the site is the main guide.

New Player Welcome Offers

Just like many casinos, the welcome bonus is a heavy package and is given to all rooms. For new players in the bingo rooms, they are given 50 bingo tickets and a £20 bingo bonus. Those for slots also get 50 free spins after making their first deposit.

Monthly Promotions

There are many other ongoing promotions and bonus prizes after the first deposit, especially for bingo players. This includes The Freezer, Pennies Make Pounds, Big Night In, and more. Make sure to read and understand the terms and conditions as only then is when the true value of any bonus is known.

Pros and Cons of Iceland Bingo

There are many advantages players get from playing in the casino apart from just having fun; they offer high-value offers and bonuses, they have a customer care service that actually cares, they also have a variety of bingo games.
On the other hand, they only offer slots and bingo games and even so, there aren’t too many slot varieties to choose from.

Featured Slots and Casino Games

The main games the casino offers are Slots and Bingo, but most especially Bingo. Players will always find a variety of Bingo games from the 90 ball to the 75 ball bingo selections. This is an advantage to only bingo lovers. Slots, on the other hand, aren’t given as much focus but players can be sure to find popular slots such as Shaman’s Dream, Irish Riches, and Twin Spin.

Game Providers at Iceland Bingo

Players get to know the kind of games they are bound to bump into only when they look at the providers. While the casino doesn’t have the longest list of software developers, they do have a good selection. Some of the most popular titles in the casino are developed by the likes of Red Tiger Gaming, Net Ent, and Microgaming.

Deposit and Withdrawal Methods

Some of the payment methods the casino offers players to choose from are Visa, Mastercard, and Interac Online. They also have PayPal, which is considered one of their best options.
Players are also advised to check out the transaction fees and other factors such as transaction period as they vary, before settling on one.

Customer Support and License

There is a detailed FAQ section players can always find from the main menu that has some answers to some of the commonly asked questions. Another means to get help is by contacting customer support using the live chat support option and email.
The main licenses the casino holds is the Gibraltar Gambling Commission (GGC) and the United Kingdom Gambling Commission (UKGC).

Iceland Bingo – The Verdict

As seen in this review, the casino is not the best yet in the market especially because it doesn’t have many games and even the ones available have limited varieties. However, for a place to chill and unwind, Bingo Iceland can give that, especially for bingo and slot games fans.
