FreshBet Sister Sites 2025
Before we get into anything to do with FreshBet, we have to start with a disclaimer. This casino is owned and operated by Ryker B.V., which is based in Curacao and operates without a UK Gambling Commission licence. Casino network companies that don’t have UK Gambling Commission licences aren’t supposed to offer their services to players in the UK, but FreshBet does. We know that there are plenty of people out there who are happy to take the risk of playing at non-UKGC casinos, but even if you are, we have to remind you that you have no legal recourse if something goes wrong and the casino is unwilling or unable to resolve your complaint. With that said, let’s talk about the FreshBet sister sites.
Jackbit
For a long time, there was only one other member of the FreshBet sister sites family, and it was Jackbit. What you’ll find at Jackbit is largely a continuation of what you’ve already experienced at FreshBet, albeit presented differently. Jackbit’s look is a little more reserved than FreshBet’s, and it’s more interested in its sportsbook than it is in its casino games despite having a portfolio of more than six thousand of them. The shift in focus is evident from the way that Jackbit lays out its promotions – there’s virtually nothing on the table for slots and casino fans but plenty for those who like placing wagers on sporting affairs. There aren’t as many deposit and withdrawal options at Jackbit as there are at FreshBet, which is something to be aware of if you’re moving from one to the other. It isn’t necessarily correct to think of Jackbit as a slimmed-down version of FreshBet, but it’s not totally wrong, either.
20bets
20bets is, to the best of our knowledge, the latest addition to the FreshBet sister sites family. We have to keep saying things like “to the best of our knowledge” because it’s not like Ryker B.V. puts bunting up when it launches a new online casino – it sometimes takes us a while to find them. Everything at 20bets is made easy to find by the casino’s intuitive layout, but don’t let the simplicity fool you – this is an iGaming site with more than five thousand slots and games to offer, not to mention its massive sports betting facilities. The promotions might not bowl you over but their terms and conditions are fair, and that’s the more important factor in the long run. Customer service is a problem, though, and information about payment processing is lacking – as is the casino’s FAQ. You’re essentially working blind when you play here.

FreshBet Review 2025
FreshBet is a cool and modern-looking casino that comes with thousands of games, but it also has a big disadvantage from the point of view of players based in the UK – its lack of a UKGC licence or even any other major recognised iGaming licence. There are big risks attached to playing at this casino, but we’ll assume you’re comfortable with them if you’re still reading. FreshBet doesn’t have a theme, but it does have a massive package of entertainment available along with a chunky-sounding welcome promotion. Let’s start by looking more closely at that.
FreshBet Casino Welcome Offers
There are no fewer than three welcome promotions available at FreshBet, but we’ll start with the standard casino welcome bonus because that’s what players are most likely to be interested in. The advertised value of the promotion is £1500, but it comes with caveats. You have to make three deposits if you want to extract the full value of the promotion, with a 100% match up to £500 available on deposits one and three and a 50% match up to £500 on deposit two. All bonus funds are subject to an x30 wagering requirement, which is fairly standard.
If you’re someone who uses cryptocurrencies, you can claim an alternative welcome promotion available only to those who make their first deposit using crypto. The promotion is a 155% deposit boost up to a maximum of £500. For some reason, the wagering requirement attached to the crypto welcome bonus is x40, which means you’d be better off using the general welcome bonus even if you do play with crypto funds.
Players who’ve come to FreshBet to bet on sports or e-sports rather than casino games can claim a 100% first deposit bonus up to a maximum of £500, but are warned that there’s a wagering requirement of x20 the amount deposited before anything can be withdrawn from the bonus. That’s pretty high for a sports betting bonus and makes it more than a little sticky.
Ongoing Promotions
Welcome promotions and sign-up offers account for the majority of promotions available at FreshBet, but there are a couple of others to tell you about. The one that’s most likely to be of interest to slots and casino game players is the ten per cent loyalty bonus, which can be claimed against the most recent deposit a player has made, subject to a minimum qualifying deposit of £50. It’s a weird bonus, and it can only be obtained by contacting FreshBet customer support. The wagering requirement attached to loyalty bonus funds is high at x45, and the maximum conversion to real cash is x10 of the bonus. It isn’t clear from the wording of the promotion whether this bonus can be claimed more than once.
For those of you who are more interested in sports betting, FreshBet also offers a “bet three times and get a fourth bet free” promotion. The three qualifying bets must be made consecutively, with a minimum value of £5 per bet. The value of the free bet will be determined by an average of the three qualifying bets and is subject to an absolute maximum of £100.
FreshBet VIP Club
FreshBet’s VIP Club is a tiered loyalty programme with five levels, each offering increasing perks based on player activity. At the lower levels (Fresh and FreshElite), players get a 10% cashback bonus, but the wagering requirements start at 10X and go up to 15X, which limits the actual benefit. Withdrawal limits range from £7,500 to £15,000, and while FreshElite members get a £750 appreciation chip, Fresh players receive nothing. Moving up to FreshPro and FreshMaster increases the cashback potential to 15%, with slightly higher withdrawal caps, but the wagering requirements remain restrictive at up to 20X MCO. The appreciation chips improve, with FreshMaster receiving £2,500, yet all appreciation bonuses are subject to a 1X wager and a 10X max withdrawal cap, which may curb their appeal.
At the top, FreshKing members enjoy the highest perks, with withdrawal limits reaching £50,000 and cashback at 15%, but the 50X wagering requirement is excessive, making it difficult to benefit from the bonus. While VIP members get access to personalised bonuses, account managers, and priority withdrawals, all perks are subject to FreshBet’s discretion. The casino also retains the right to downgrade or remove VIP status without warning, adding uncertainty to the scheme. Additionally, despite offering higher withdrawal limits, requests are still subject to security checks, which could cause delays. Overall, while the programme appears generous, the high wagering requirements and restrictive terms make it less rewarding than it initially seems.
What are the Pros and Cons of FreshBet Casino?
Pros: FreshBet’s range of promotions makes this an exciting casino to join as a new player. The number of slots and games available at the casino is enormous, and the addition of sports betting makes it a well-rounded iGaming site. In broad and general terms, FreshBet looks professional and attractive.
Cons: You can’t access information about deposits and withdrawals at the casino without logging into the site, so players have to work blindly without knowing how long they might be left waiting for a withdrawal after requesting it. Bizarrely, this information isn’t covered in the FreshBet FAQ. Players might also feel that once they’ve used up their sign-up offer, there isn’t much more to keep them interested in the casino when it comes to perks, although the addition of a VIP club in 2025 has helped with this.
Featured Slots and Games
We said right at the start of this review that FreshBet offers a diverse and exciting portfolio of iGaming options, including virtual sports betting, regular sports betting, live casino games and more. It’s clear to see that slots are the biggest attraction at the casino, though – FreshBet offers more than five thousand of them. From that enormous collection, here are some of the casino’s most popular options.
Chill out with Ice Joker, a medium-volatility slot by Play’n Go that transports you to a frosty wonderland. The game features a 5×3 reel set with 20 betways and an RTP of 96.23%. Inspired by classic fruit slots, Ice Joker offers a unique twist with its Frozen Spins feature. Land an Ice Joker Wild on reels 2, 3, or 4, and you’ll trigger 3 Frozen Spins, during which the Wild expands one position per spin. The game also includes a Winter’s Wonder Wheel bonus round, where you can win up to 7 Ice Jokers to keep in reserve for future spins. With a maximum win of 3,000 times your stake, this icy adventure offers a refreshing take on traditional slots.
Unleash the power of the dragon with Dragon’s Luck, a slot game by Red Tiger that’s steeped in Asian mythology. This medium-to-high volatility game features a 5×3 grid with ten betways that pay both ways. With an RTP that ranges around 96.24%, the game offers a maximum win of 1,380 times your stake. The game is adorned with dragon statues on either side of the reels, which can come to life and breathe fire, transforming symbols into matching ones. Keep an eye out for the Dragon Coin symbol, which turns into a special symbol and can even appear as a 3×3 Mega symbol, guaranteeing a win. While the game may lack a Free Spins feature, its unique mechanics and thematic consistency make it a compelling choice for those who enjoy Asian-themed slots.
Escape to a tropical paradise with Aloha! Cluster Pays, a slot by NetEnt that brings the Hawaiian spirit to your screen. This game features a 6×5 grid and operates on a cluster pays engine, offering an RTP of 96.42% and low volatility. The game’s atmosphere is lighthearted, complete with tiki totems and an idyllic island backdrop. In the base game, a Sticky Re-spins feature can be triggered randomly after a cluster win, locking the winning symbols and granting a re-spin. The Free Spins feature is the highlight, where lower-value symbols are progressively removed, leaving only high-value totems for bigger wins. You can win up to 2,000 times your stake, making it a perfect slot for those looking for a laid-back yet rewarding experience.
Deposit and Withdrawal Methods
As we covered above, the payments page at FreshBet isn’t accessible to anyone who hasn’t registered an account with the casino, and there’s no information in the casino’s FAQ about payment processing. That’s frustrating, and it means that we can’t tell you how long or short the wait for withdrawals at the casino might be. If its sister site Jackbit is any indication, then the wait could be as short as one business day, but that can’t be relied upon. Going off the payment providers referenced by logo on the FreshBet homepage, the casino welcomes Visa or Mastercard debit cards, Skrill and AstroPay e-wallets, and a wide variety of cryptocurrencies, starting with Bitcoin but also including Ethereum and Dash. Even Dogecoin is accepted.
Customer Support and License
You can contact FreshBet at any time via the casino’s live chat option, but if you’d rather send the support team an email, the correct address is [email protected]. The casino’s licensing situation is a big problem.
The first time we reviewed FreshBet, it had a Curacao eGaming licence. That licence has now gone. We think that might have something to do with the casino’s operator, Ryker B.V., continuing to deal in crypto, which is expressly prohibited under the terms of new Curacao licences. That makes the casino unlicensed. In turn, that makes it impossible to trust – not just for players in the UK, but for players everywhere. Not all of the FreshBet sister sites have the same licensing status, so check before you play.
FreshBet Casino – The Verdict
It’s hard to be negative about a casino that offers as many games and betting options as FreshBet does, but it’s also hard to be positive about a casino that isn’t covered by a proper licence. There are definitely risks associated with playing here, and we don’t like the fact that we can’t find out how the casino processes deposits and withdrawals unless we register an account. That being said, any player who’s happy to play at a casino based in Curacao is happy to take risks, and based on the range of promotions and games available, you’re more likely to have a good time at FreshBet than you are at most Curacao-based casinos.
What are players saying about FreshBet?
Here are our condensed / reader’s digest summaries of recent player reviews of FreshBet.
- 05-Feb-2025 by Ellis:
Be cautious with this site. They did send me a small payout, but ever since, I’ve been getting calls from someone pretending to be from Santander, and I’m convinced it’s them. The payment came from a company called Ryker Development, and after looking them up, I found that the director, Theokalis Andreou, has over 100 businesses registered in Cyprus. They’re stealing card details and using them for money laundering! – source: Trustpilot - 03-Feb-2025 by Bogdan:
Absolutely terrible site. I deposited around £850, and they never asked me for any documents. But as soon as I tried to withdraw just £130, they hit me with endless verification demands—proof of address, bank card details, everything. I sent them bank statements and proof that the deposit was made to their site, but now they’re stalling because I have more money in my account and can’t withdraw it until the first withdrawal goes through. It’s just a tactic to make me lose. Stay away! I’ve got proof of everything and will be filing a complaint. – source: Trustpilot - 28-Jan-2025 by Chris:
The site is easy to use, and it has all the slots I like. There are regular promotions, especially for mini-games, which is a nice change from the usual casino slots. I don’t bet on sports, but from what I’ve seen, it’s easy to browse events, including niche sports and eSports. I’ve never had issues, and when I’ve spoken to support, they’ve been friendly and helpful. Being polite always helps—I’ve worked in customer service myself! – source: Trustpilot - 27-Jan-2025 by Daniel:
I like FreshBet because it has my favourite slots like Big Bass and Book of Dead. The cashback feature is great too—you get 10% back, which is better than most sites. The wagering isn’t bad, and I’ve managed to complete it and withdraw winnings. I also appreciate the £10 minimum deposit, as many sites require £20. There are plenty of other casino games too, not just slots. Live chat support is quick, much better than other sites I’ve used. This is my favourite casino, though I haven’t been able to play Big Bass lately due to an issue with Pragmatic Play games. I’ve been assured they’re fixing it. I’ve even recommended this site to friends and look forward to trying more games. – source: Trustpilot - 17-Jan-2025 by Viktor:
Scammers! I won over £4,200, and they immediately shut down my account, wiped my balance, and claimed I had a duplicate account, which apparently isn’t allowed. The problem? I don’t have any other accounts! They’re happy to let you deposit, but the moment you win big, they’ll find any excuse to take your money. Stay away! – source: Trustpilot - 10-Jan-2025 by Codie:
Best online casino I’ve played. They pay out every time, have great games, and I’ve had some big wins. – source: Trustpilot - 08-Jan-2025 by True:
I claimed my VIP FreshElite bonus a week ago but still haven’t received it. Then they told me I’m no longer eligible. What a joke! Absolute scammers. – source: Trustpilot - 06-Jan-2025 by Rick:
At first, it was alright—like any casino, you lose more than you win. But lately, I’ve noticed dodgy things, like symbols changing after the reels stop. I was playing 9 Masks of Fire, got two free spin symbols, then the third landed, stopped, and half a second later switched to a mask, so I didn’t get free spins. A bit too convenient, don’t you think? Yes, they pay out, but you can’t properly close your account. Even if you do, you can just reopen it the next day with no hassle. Don’t expect big wins here. I’ve played for over two years, and the higher your bet, the worse the payouts seem. My biggest win on 20-40p spins was £250. On 80p-£1 spins, my biggest was £42. Something’s changed, and it’s not my luck. – source: Trustpilot - 04-Jan-2025 by Daniel:
This site is a total scam. If you’re looking to actually win money, go elsewhere. They’ll take your deposits through any method—crypto, debit card, bank transfer, whatever. But when you try to withdraw? Forget it. Customer support just tells you to try another method, but nothing works. Do yourself a favour and play at a real casino instead. These online sites are all the same—they take your money and never let you win long-term. If people were actually winning, these sites wouldn’t be everywhere like they are now. – source: Trustpilot - 02-Jan-2025 by Stacy:
Not sure why there are so many bad reviews—I’ve had no issues at all. I sent in my ID documents, waited for my account to be verified, and only then did I deposit. I won my deposit back plus some extra, withdrew on New Year’s Day, and had the money in my bank by the next morning. No complaints from me—I’m really happy with the site. – source: Trustpilot
