Bet Vision
Bet Vision is the only one of the Fun88 sister sites that is directly owned and operated by TGP Europe Limited. All of the rest are operated on a white-label basis with the involvement of third parties. You’d have thought that this would make Bet Vision the most special, stand-out betting site in the range, but we’re afraid that it isn’t. If anything, Bet Vision is at the other end of the scale. It has the same sports betting platform as Fun88 and the same limited set of casino games to go with the real sports and virtual sports betting opportunities, but it lacks flair. It’s also a little too particular about who it allows to visit its website. You can’t access Bet Vision if you have ad-blocking software turned on. That’s an unusual move for a gambling website and might at least partially explain why this one is mainly unknown to players in the UK. Bet Vision is not an example of TGP Europe at its best. If you’re looking for a similar alternative to Fun88, we’d suggest trying one of the sites we’re about to name below instead.
Stake
Stake is a much better example of a Fun88 sister site than Bet Vision is. It uses the same template – almost every site in the TGP Europe family does – but it adds a little more to look at in the shape of banner graphics and eye-catching images. Most of those images involve Everton FC, for whom Stake is the current shirt sponsor. Sponsoring the shirts of English football teams is an expensive business, but TGP Europe Limited must see the value in it after paying to splash the Fun88 brand on Newcastle United’s shirts and the Stake brand on Everton’s. Why are we talking about football rather than Stake as a casino website? Because branding aside, Stake and Fun88 are twins. The content across both sites is so similar that we considered calling it identical. If you’re likely to find differences anywhere, then it’s in the promotions section, but promotions come and go, so look before you leap. On the plus side, it means you can be confident of enjoying what you find at Stake if you’ve already enjoyed what Fun88 has to offer.
SportPesa
Sport Pesa UK is another Fun88 sister site that’s dedicated to sports betting and another name that should be familiar to anyone who regularly watches English Premier League football. Until recently, Sport Pesa sponsored Everton Football Club. That sponsorship deal has ended now, so all of the promotional banners have been removed from the Sports Pesa website and left it looking rather bare. Without the graphics to distract you, you can see this is yet another use of the barebones TGP Europe Limited template. Not only that, but there are a couple of factors that make this a lesser betting site than Fun88 or Stake. The first is the site’s insistence on players deactivating adblockers before they can access the site, which is an annoyance that it shares with Bet Vision. The second is the lack of promotions at Sport Pesa. Most of the TGP Europe Limited sites are basic enough as it is without a total lack of promotions to entice players into spending time or money with them. The best word to describe Sport Pesa is “vanilla.”
SBOTOP
This is the part of the review where we humbly suggest that TGP Europe Limited may want to consider spending a little less money on football sponsorships and a little more money on web design. SBOTOP, like several of the Fun88 sister sites, is a name emblazoned on the front of a Premier League football shirt. The team sponsored by SBOTOP at the moment is Fulham, but in the past, they’ve also sponsored West Ham United. Aside from the Fulham sponsorship, this is yet another paint-by-numbers sports betting website with no individuality or uniqueness. The same irritating requirement to switch off your adblocker is here, and so is the complete lack of incentives, welcome offers, and other bonuses. Other than the one or two sites that offer promotions, there is literally nothing to separate one TGP Europe Limited betting site from another, so you might be best going with the one that sponsors the football team you support – or at least the one that you hate the least.
Bob88
Bob88, also known as Bob Sports, is unlike the other Fun88 sister sites because it doesn’t sponsor an individual club football side. Instead, it sponsors an entire country. Bob88 is the official “global betting partner” of the Welsh national football team. The logo of the Welsh FA features prominently on the casino’s homepage, as does a photo of the world-famous Welsh forward Gareth Bale, who was once the most expensive football player in history. Bob Sports doesn’t believe in offering promotions – a trait it shares with many of its siblings – and we’re not convinced that the salmon pink colour scheme is likely to appeal to most sports bettors whether they’re Welsh or not. That being said, the sports and virtual sports betting platform is just as good here as it is anywhere else in the range, and there’s also a very small online slots casino to entertain you while you’re waiting for sports results to come in.
12Bet UK
If you were to visit 12Bet straight after visiting Bet Vision, you’d have to double-check and make sure you’d actually left the Bet Vision website at all. These two Fun88 sister sites are identical in everything other than their name. It goes without saying at this stage that the layout of the 12Bet website looks just like any other TGP Europe Limited betting site, but the same colour scheme has been chosen for both of them. They’re less like sister sites and more like clones. Even the number of online slots available at both sites is identical – seventy-one for those who are counting. You’re just as likely to have a good time at either of them based on their similarities, but unless you’re not a fan of promotions, you’d likely have a better time at one of the handful of sites on this casino network that offer such things. 12Bet doesn’t even have the benefit of a high-profile sporting sponsorship to lift it above the average, so it stays mired in the mid-range of what this network has to offer.

Fun88 is a name that was mostly unknown to players in the UK until its parent company TGP Europe Limited agreed on a sponsorship deal that saw the website’s name printed on the shirt of Newcastle United Football Club. That’s a common tactic among Fun88 sister sites and gave the brand exposure not only in the UK but right across the world in every country where Premier League football matches are broadcasted. Competition among sports betting brands in the UK is at an all-time high, and Fun88 is yet another name that’s been thrown into the mix. Does it measure up to the very best in the business? Read this review to get all the information you need before you decide whether to place your bets with them.
The Fun88 website is extremely basic, and you’ll have to turn any adblocking software you might use off if you want to access it. Quite why the site insists on that is unknown, as it doesn’t appear to carry any external advertising. There aren’t many graphics to look at, and there isn’t even all that much in the way of text, but everything is easy to find. This isn’t a site that you’ll have to spend half an hour looking at before you understand where to go and what to do.

TGP Europe Limited sites tend not to offer welcome promotions quite as frequently as other sports betting sites do. Having said that, most of them at least offer something. Fun88 offers nothing at all. If you’re able to read the promotional text, you’ll find out that Fun88 offers a boost of up to 50% on accumulator bets, cash out and partial cash out options on bets while they’re still in play and a custom “bet builder” that allows players to combine various selections from the same sporting event. The bet builder is potentially a powerful tool if you know how to put a compelling bet together, but the other two incentives aren’t anything that you won’t find elsewhere.
Website Design
We’re only a short way into this review, but if you’ve read everything we’ve written so far, you’ll know what we think about the design of Fun88 already. We won’t beat around the bush – it’s awful. Very important sections of the website are impossible to read because of a poor choice of clashing colours. There’s no good reason why a player should have to turn off their adblocking software before they can place a bet or even see what’s available, but Fun88 forces visitors to do precisely that. The site is ugly, simple, and barely functional in places. Making a mistake when selecting a colour scheme is understandable, although it’s an error that should be picked up easily before a site goes live. Failing to correct it is unforgivable.
We don’t want to be too disparaging to TGP Europe Limited or whichever team of web designers put this website together, but it wouldn’t be an exaggeration to say that there are high school students who’ve created better website designs as homework assignments. It’s amateurish, and the entire Fun88 brand feels amateurish because of it.
Top Games at Fun88
When it comes to online slots at Fun88, it’s not so much about identifying top games or top slots as it is about identifying the only online slots available at the site. There are just 21 of them as of the time of writing, which is such a low number that we’re forced to wonder why they bothered. There’s nothing wrong with being a sports-only betting website, and adding a handful of online slots might be worse than choosing to specialise in what you’re good at. Nevertheless, here are the top three slots at Fun88 according to the site’s ranking system.
Lucky Neko: This 2021 release from PG Soft isn’t technically a cluster pays slot, but it’s as close as it’s possible to get to one without being formally identified as such. The cartoonish Oriental-themed slot, full of cute cats and sushi, comes with 32,400 paylines and a complex 5-6-6-6-5 layout that will take some getting used to if you’ve never come across anything similar before. The presence of avalanche wins makes things even more complicated, so it’s no surprise to find out that it’s a highly volatile creation. RTP clocks in at 96.73%, and there’s no upper limit on multipliers during free spins.
Captain’s Bounty: This is another PG Soft slot, but is a little older than Lucky Neko and has been available since 2019. You’re more likely to appreciate this pirate-themed slot than Lucky Neko if you’re into the traditional style of presentation. It has five reels, three rows, and twenty paylines. The basic layout is merely a cunning disguise, though – when the reels start spinning you’ll suddenly discover that avalanche wins are in play at all times. Mahjong 2 Ways: Mahjong, for those who aren’t familiar, is a tile-based game that’s exceptionally popular in the Far East but less so in the west. The look and feel of a Mahjong game are replicated here in this PG Soft slot, stretched across a 4-5-5-5-4 layout that offers 2000 ways to win, 96.95% RTP, and medium variance. Avalanche wins are in play at all times, which seems to be a recurring theme with PG Soft slots. There’s a multiplier available within the free spins feature, too, but in this case, it’s capped at x10.
The 21 online slots at Fun88 are little more than a distraction from the sportsbook, which is heavily focused on football fixtures in major European leagues but also contains highlighted sections for rugby and Formula 1. Fun88 hopes to be able to re-introduce Mastercard debit support “in the near future.” In the meantime, the only accepted payment and withdrawal method is a Visa debit card, and if you win something, you’ll be waiting 3-5 days before your funds make it back to your account after requesting a withdrawal. You don’t need us to tell you that’s a desperately poor state of affairs by the standards of the 2020s.
Customer Services
If you need help at Fun88, all you can do is email customer services and hope that they respond to you within the 24-hour service window they aim for. There’s no other way of getting in touch with them. As with the payment and withdrawal situation, this is very poor.
