That means the online version of the casino has a lot to live up to. Betway Limited was entrusted with the job, but have they done it justice? Read this review and find out.

Hippodrome Online Welcome Bonus

The welcome offer at Hippodrome Online Casino is a mixed back. The core of the offer is a plain and simple 100% matched deposit with a maximum value of £100, applied to first deposits. That would be fine if it weren’t for the x50 wagering requirement that comes with the bonus, which is much too sticky, and makes the bonus uncompetitive with other top online casinos. However, there are one hundred bonus spins thrown in with the offer, and there are no wagering requirements attached to winnings from those spins. We’d have preferred something in the middle, with low wagering requirements attached to both aspects of the offer, but at least it’s possible to get something for nothing here. The minimum qualifying deposit is £20.

Ongoing Promotions

Unfortunately, Hippodrome Online has done away with its only other proper promotion since we last reviewed the casino. It used to be possible to get fifty free spins every time you deposited £50 or more, but that’s no longer the case. Instead, the only other promotions listed here are the Pragmatic Play Drops & Wins daily tournaments and random cash drops. They’re great if you win anything from them, but we don’t think of them as promotions These bonuses come from Pragmatic Play rather than the casino, so it’s not like Hippodrome Online is providing them. Also, a proper bonus will give you a guaranteed output in return for a specific input. The Drops & Wins games don’t do that – winning anything from them is down to pure luck.

What are the Pros and Cons of Hippodrome Online?

  I didn’t realise this casino was part of Betway until my account was suddenly closed after I won over £6,300. I was self-excluded from Betway anyway. The customer service team escalated my request to have my account funds refunded, and after a few days, the operations team agreed and authorised the payment.
