Lunar Bet Sister Sites 2024

The only active casino or betting site under the Caacon Ltd banner is lunar.bet, which means that there aren’t currently any Lunar Bet sister sites to tell you about. That doesn’t quite tell you the full story, though. If you look Caacon Ltd’s licence entry up with Anjouan Gaming, you’ll find that Lunar Bet is listed alongside Caacon Casino. That isn’t a former member of the Lunar Bet sister sites family – it literally used to be Lunar Bet. Caacon Ltd, perhaps regretting its decision to name its one and only casino after itself, rebranded Caacon Casino to Lunar Bet in 2024. The company has shown no appetite to launch new casinos since then, but if that changes, you’ll see them here. Until then, here’s the internet’s most comprehensive review of Lunar Bet.

Lunar Bet Review 2024

The definition of “lunar”, according to the Oxford English Dictionary, is “of, resembling, or determined by the moon.” If you know anything about cryptocurrency, you might recall that “to the moon” is a popular catchphrase of those who are convinced they hold investments that are about to skyrocket in value. That, in a nutshell, is the ethos of Lunar Bet. It was developed as a cryptocurrency casino and, when it was launched, had its own token called $LUNAR, which it pushed hard. There’s no sign of the token now, and very little sign of activity at the casino in general. Has it died already? Let’s find out.

Lunar Bet Welcome Offers

Casinos of the modern age often live and die by the quality of the welcome promotions that they offer. At Lunar Bet, the offer is a 150% first deposit bonus with no listed maximum. We say “no listed maximum” with a note of caution because while no maximum is explicitly stated, this casino isn’t great at providing specific details about anything. It’s possible that there’s a cap here somewhere, but it isn’t stated upfront. The minimum qualifying deposit for the welcome bonus is 0.005 ETH (the casino’s preferred crypto coin), and wagering requirements are set at x30. If the bonus has no ceiling then it could be a great offer, but we can’t endorse it as such without that information.

Ongoing Promotions

There’s a general air of decay about Lunar Bet. We’re under the impression that there used to be lots of promotions available at this casino, but now there’s nothing other than the welcome bonus. Players also used to be able to take part in “quests” to earn extra bonus requests, but when we visited lunar.bet to write this review and clicked on the “Quests” link, the page told us that there were no quests available at the moment. Perhaps there never will be again. With no VIP scheme available, it seems that there are no bonuses here at all save for the sign-up offer. Either we caught Lunar Bet in the middle of a re-set, or its generosity has all but dried up.

What are the Pros and Cons of Lunar Bet?

Pros: This is a basic casino site that gets straight to the point. It has a basic iGaming licence issued in Anjouan, and its welcome promotion might have no upper ceiling. If that’s the case, then it’s an excellent offer with a reasonable wagering requirement of x30. Lunar Bet offers live casino games, live poker, and sports betting as well as slots.

Cons: The casino feels like its dying. Nobody uses the live chat feature anymore, almost all of its promotions have been removed, and the interactive player quests are gone. Even the crypto token that the casino was built around appears to be a thing of the past, and nothing gets posted on its social media accounts anymore. Basically, it feels like Cacoon Ltd has given up on it.

Top Games at Lunar Bet

We listed off the many iGaming categories available at Lunar Bet above, but slots still take precedence over all of them in terms of popularity. Four of the top six slots on the Lunar Bet homepage come from Pragmatic Play, namely Gates of Olympus, Sugar Rush, Curse of the Werewolf Megaways, and Release the Kraken. The bespoke animated thumbnails that the casino makes for its top slots make them stand out all the more. The other two top slots are Deepsea Riches from Mascot Gaming, and Zeus the Thunderer from the same provider.

The top live dealer games at Lunar Casino also come with animated thumbnails, which means the homepage places quite a lot of demand on your bandwidth and processor. Evolution Gaming’s standard versions of blackjack, roulette, baccarat, and poker are the top attractions, while Vegas Ball Bonanza, Mega Wheel, and Sweet Bonanza Candyland (all from Pragmatic Play Live) are the most popular game shows. Live poker has its own dedicated mini-site, but it’s still branded as “Caacon Live Poker,” and has a separate registration and login screen. Because of that, we’re not convinced that it’s still a going concern. To round off the collection, Lunar Bet also offers sports betting, crash games, and lottery games.

Withdrawal Processing and Support

Lunar Bet was conceived and born as a cryptocurrency casino, so we’d be shocked if that wasn’t still the case now. However, as with most things about this casino, we can’t be sure. We can’t find a banking page at the casino, and the concept of processing payments isn’t something that it feels the need to explain in its FAQ. The full lunar.bet terms and conditions are infuriatingly imprecise about approved payment methods or turnaround times, which means we can’t even make any educated guesses here. Sorry about that.

Customer Support and Licensing

From looking at the history of the Lunar Bet live chat room, we can see that customer support used to be provided that way. The last few requests, however, have gone unanswered for weeks. That leaves three given methods – [email protected], Telegram, or the casino’s official Twitter/X account. Given that the Twitter account doesn’t seem to be monitored anymore, Telegram or email are likely the best bets – but we wouldn’t hold our breath about getting a reply back from any of them.

Shortly after rebranding its casino, Caason Ltd applied for and received an Internet Gaming Licence from the State of Anjouan. The licence is still in force, which is one of the only signs of life we detected at Lunar Bet. If any Lunar Bet sister sites are ever created, the same licence should also cover them.

Lunar Bet – The Verdict

During the past few years, we’ve seen dozens of crypto casinos come and go. A lot of them come with their own tokens, promising early investors that they’ll profit from the token as the casino “inevitably” grows over time. Almost all of those casinos failed, and the tokens they once offered are worth nothing. We think Lunar Bet has probably met the same fate. It still works as a casino, and it remains online, but its token has vanished, and its official communications channels have fallen silent. We wouldn’t feel comfortable risking money at this casino, no matter what its licensing status might be.
