MagicRed Sister Sites

MagicRed belongs to the AG Communications Limited casino network. That’s one of the largest casino networks that currently operates in the UK. However, just because it’s a massive casino network doesn’t mean that the casinos on it are all popular or even well-known. There’s no individual “star name” casino among the MagicRed sister sites. Instead, the network is made up of a collection of solidly-built iGaming sites, some of which are better than others. You’re welcome to visit our AG Communications page if you want to see all of the MagicRed sister sites in one place, but we’ve picked out some of the best of the range for you below.

Karamba

Karamba

With its unusual lavender-based colour scheme and its cheeky parakeet mascot, Karamba is easily one of the most memorable MagicRed sister sites based on appearance. There’s an easy way of picking out the bigger and more popular MagicRed sister sites from the smaller ones, and it’s all about betting options. The smaller casinos on the platform tend to focus only on online slots and standard casino games. The bigger and better casinos also have a live dealer section and a sportsbook. Karamba has both of those things, which marks the site out as one of the operator’s best. Does that mean it’s perfect? Absolutely not. The style of the homepage has been allowed to fall a little behind the times, and it’s several steps behind the likes of Mr Play when it comes to aesthetics. It is, however, a considerable step up from MagicRed, which is presumably what you wanted to find when you came looking for MagicRed sister sites.

Bet Regal

Bet Regal

Taking into account everything we said about how to assess the MagicRed sister sites while we were talking about Karamba, we’d have to say that BetRegal isn’t quite on the same level. It has all the slots that Karamba does and also has the sportsbook, but it doesn’t have the live casino section. Having said that, it still does pretty much everything MagicRed does, and because of the presence of the sportsbook, it actually does more. Sports betting is actually the main purpose of BetRegal – it’s one of the few MagicRed sister sites that starts by loading in the sportsbook and forces the casino content to take second billing. The downside of BetRegal in our eyes is that we don’t really believe it was built to service UK-based players. It’s open to UK-based players and covered by the same UKGC licence that covers all of the MagicRed sister sites, but it lists the values of its promotions and prices in Euros.

Casiplay

Casiplay

Casiplay is a shift of both tone and gear compared to ninety per cent of the other MagicRed sister sites. While most of the casinos on this platform opt for a static background and simple presentation, Casiplay has a constantly changing background video on its homepage showcasing some of the hottest slots and games that the casino has to offer. It’s a neat, shorthand way of making the casino feel dynamic and exciting, and for the main part, it works. However, Casiplay has less to offer than the other MagicRed sister sites we’ve looked at thus far. It doesn’t have a sportsbook attached to it, and the way it lays out its welcome promotion is frankly weird. We have no objection to a casino wanting to stretch a promotion out over four deposits, but the rewards are so meagre that potential new players may rightfully wonder whether the rewards are worth it. Welcome bonuses aren’t everything, though.

Winner’s Magic

Winner's Magic

If you do enough digging into the MagicRed sister sites, you’ll eventually find that outside the top five or ten, most of them use the same basic design template. That means there are at least a couple of dozen MagicRed sister sites that look almost exactly the same as each other save for their colour schemes and logos. Winner’s Magic is the perfect example of that trend. We wouldn’t normally mind this approach – plenty of casino networks use templates so it isn’t just an AG Communications Limited thing – but the template is very dated and a little bit busy. The homepage of Winner’s Magic feels very crowded, and there’s no space for personality. It’s obvious from the casino’s name and logo that there’s supposed to be a magical theme at this casino, but good luck identifying any trace of it. The welcome promotion is weaker than you’ll find at most MagicRed sister sites, too.

Casino Luck

Casino Luck

Irish-themed casinos are so common that they’re ten a penny. In fact, they’re more common than that – they’re more like twenty a penny. There are several of them to consider among the MagicRed sister sites if the Irish theme is your thing, and Casino Luck is one of those options. It keeps things simple, settling for a white and green colour scheme and a clover logo to set the tone and establish the theme. There isn’t much more to the theme than that, but that’s a consequence of Casino Luck using the same template as Winner’s Magic. You’ll recall that we said that crowded homepages and a lack of personality are common among the MagicRed sister sites that use this template, and Casino Luck doesn’t manage to become an exception to that rule. It does offer a better welcome promotion than Winner’s Magic, though, and the colour scheme makes it a little easier on the eyes.

: As 2023 draws to a close, Magic Red and its sister sites are offering a festive and exciting slot-spinning tournament, the WinterFest New Year’s Special Tournament, in collaboration with Play’n Go. This event, scheduled to run from the 29th to the 30th of December 2023, promises a total prize pool of £10,000, with the top prize being a generous £2,000. Participants in the tournament can play qualifying games such as “Fox Mayhem,” “New Year Riches,” and “Fire Joker” to stand a chance of winning one of the multiple cash prizes. The tournament operates on a simple yet engaging mechanic: the sum of win multipliers. For instance, if a player bets £1 and wins £5, their score would be calculated as 5, based on the formula: Win/Bet=Score. The scores from all qualifying games are then added to the leaderboard to determine the winners.

The minimum bet to participate is set at 50p, making the tournament accessible to a wide range of players. The prizes are distributed across various positions, with second place receiving £1,500, and third place £1,000, followed by gradually decreasing amounts down to the 100th place. Importantly, the cash prizes will be awarded by the 3rd of January 2024, 4 PM GMT, and come with no wagering requirements. The tournament’s terms and conditions specify that the total winnings from all WinterFest Tournament Promotions are capped at £4,000 per customer, including any related accounts under Aspire Global-operated brands. Players are also reminded that they can only play one qualifying game at a time during the same login session, with the right reserved by Aspire Global to disqualify players who do not adhere to this rule.

: The Magic Red sister sites, along with other prominent UK online casinos, have launched the WinterFest Tournament 1, a festive-themed slot-spinning tournament designed to bring joy and excitement to players during the holiday season. This tournament, in partnership with Wazdan, features a substantial prize pool of £15,000, offering players a chance to win big while enjoying their favourite slots. The tournament runs from the 1st to the 8th of December and includes a selection of qualifying Wazdan games such as 9 Coins Grand Platinum Edition, Black Horse Cash Out, Hot Slot 777, and Burning Sun. Players can earn points for the in-game leaderboard based on the sum of win multipliers. For example, if a player bets £1 and wins £5, their score is calculated as 5, following the formula Win/Bet=Score. All scores from the qualifying games are then added to the leaderboard.

The minimum bet to participate is set at 50p, making the tournament accessible to a wide range of players. The prizes are distributed across several positions, with the first place receiving £2,500, followed by £1,500 for second place, and other prizes ranging down to £5 for those finishing between 201st and 300th place. These cash prizes will be awarded by the 12th of December, and importantly, no wagering is required on these prizes. The tournament imposes a maximum total winnings limit of £4,000 per customer, inclusive of any related accounts under Aspire Global-operated brands. Players are also reminded that they can only play one qualifying game at a time during the same login session, with the tournament organisers reserving the right to disqualify any player who does not adhere to this rule.

: This week, Magic Red and its sister sites are hosting the ‘Gus’s Road to Christmas’ iSoftBet slot spinning tournament, offering a festive and competitive gaming experience to all its eligible members. The tournament, which runs from November 23rd to November 28th, 2023, features a generous £5,000 prize pool. The top 100 players on the leaderboard will share this pool, with a grand prize of £1,000 reserved for the player who is strategic enough to land in first place. Participants in the tournament must play specific qualifying games, which include Christmas Gold Digger, Gus Gold Minecart Mayhem, Gus Goes Fishin, Gold Digger, and Gold Digger Megaways. These games provide varied and exciting gameplay, enhancing the tournament experience for every kind of player. Players earn points on the leaderboard by wagering on these games, with every £1 wagered earning 10 points. All wagers on qualifying games are summed up to determine the leaderboard standings once the tournament window closes.

The tournament has a minimum bet requirement of £0.50 or higher to count towards the leaderboard. The cash prizes are distributed as follows: 1st place wins £1,000, 2nd place £750, 3rd place £500, with subsequent prizes decreasing down to £10 for those placed 51st to 100th. Notably, no wagering will be required on these prizes. The winners will be awarded their prizes on November 29th, 2023, at 4 pm GMT. It’s important to note that players can only play one qualifying game at a time during the same login session. Magic Red reserves the right to disqualify any player from the tournament if they play more than one game during the same session.

: In a recent comprehensive review by Gambling.com, Magic Red Casino’s offerings have been meticulously evaluated, shining a spotlight on a platform that has garnered attention for its impressive array of rewards and gaming opportunities for UK players. According to Gambling.com, the casino stands out for its generous welcome bonus, loyalty points, and the excitement of live tournament action, coupled with complimentary casino bets that regular gamers can relish. This digital playground is replete with a vast assortment of slots, table games, scratch cards, and live dealer games, all sourced from the industry’s elite software providers. It was found that at the heart of Magic Red’s ethos is a staunch commitment to fair play, ensuring a secure and fair gaming environment backed by the globally acclaimed Aspire Global International and regulated by the UK Gambling Commission. The platform facilitates a variety of deposit methods and prides itself on speedy withdrawals, all within a secure framework that allows players to indulge in their gaming sessions with peace of mind.

MagicRed Positive Review

The advantages of Magic Red include access to top-tier software providers, a secure gaming environment, and a diverse selection of live games, setting it apart as a destination for casino enthusiasts. However, the platform does have its drawbacks, notably the customer support service not being available round the clock. Furthermore, the casino’s game library is neatly categorized, providing an extensive suite of gaming options including slots, jackpots, and a dedicated live casino segment. Here, UK players can engage in various incarnations of roulette, poker, blackjack, and baccarat. The slots on offer are renowned for their diversity, stellar graphics, and immersive soundtracks, promising classic casino thrills and contemporary gameplay.

: The Canadian website Native Casinos has recently shared its comprehensive review of Magic Red Casino, giving players a detailed look into what to expect from this renowned platform. Native Casinos, recognized for their in-depth evaluations, commenced their review by delving into the history and background of the casino. Established in 2014, the site has rapidly risen to be one of the top choices for casino players, which Native Casinos attributes to the platform’s commitment to offering top-tier games and unmatched user experience. One of the standout features highlighted by Native Casinos is the fact that the platform holds not one, but four separate licenses. This signifies their dedication to maintaining a transparent and fair gaming environment. Such a multi-layered authorization speaks volumes about the platform’s commitment to user safety and regulatory adherence.

In terms of gameplay, Native Casinos is particularly impressed with the diverse range of games the casino offers. From classic slots to live dealer games, the variety ensures that players of all preferences have something that piques their interest. The platform’s games are powered by some of the best software providers, ensuring high-quality graphics and smooth gameplay. Bonuses are often the cherry on top for many casino players, and Native Casinos did not overlook this aspect. They took note of the generous welcome bonus and a loyalty program that rewards players for their consistent engagement with the platform. In wrapping up their review, Native Casinos emphasized the cohesive blend of entertainment, security, and user-friendliness that Magic Red offers.

: On the 24th of October, Eastern Daily Press pointed online poker players in the direction of some of the best online poker sites for UK players which constantly attract high volumes of traffic. There’s nothing worse than being eager to jump into a play-and-go game or a tournament and seeing nothing but tumbleweed, to avoid that, it is safer to stick with one of the most popular destinations for online poker, such as Poker Stars, but Poker Stars isn’t the best platform for everyone, especially the players who are still getting to grips with the online poker format or players who like to dabble in other forms of casino games, such as blackjack tables and jackpot slot games. For players on the hunt for tournaments, GG Poker was dubbed the best site, for the best reload bonuses poker players are eligible for, Luckland was a clear choice.

The Magic Red sister sites were voted by casino analysts as the best sites for live dealer poker games. If you do stick with the live tables, you will receive 10% cashback on your losses if your poker sessions happen over the weekend. With this offer always active, plenty of poker players take to the tables at the weekend, so you are always likely to find plenty of players to compete with. One of the biggest drawbacks to playing poker with Magic Red is the slightly lacklustre welcome offer, which largely consists of free spins. In terms of variants, you will find everything from Texas Hold Em to Teen Patti to Caribbean Stud.

: Compared to the vast majority of UK online casinos, the Magic Red sister sites are absolutely killing it with their brand-new collection of horror-themed games, which have arrived just in time to start getting stoked for Halloween. For Dracula – or any other garden-variety vampire – fans Count It Up will be hard to beat, it may not be up to the same standard as Bram Stoker’s Dracula which starred Gary Oldman, Winona Ryder and Keanu Reeves, but the developer clearly went the extra mile to instil the creep factor. Return of the Green Knight is also a great contribution to the category; the medieval game should go down a chilling treat with anyone who still maintains that Lord of the Rings is one of the best book and film franchises ever to be born into existence.

MagicRed Count It Up

Holidays Joker Halloween is a great option for traditionalists and players who don’t want a game that will end up giving them too much fear, the Spinomenal game boasts a lighthearted feel, which can especially be read through the high-paying symbols, which include a carved pumpkin, a pretty pleasant looking ghoul, a less than charming jar filled with eyes and a muffin, which has got all dressed up for Halloween. On any given spin, there is a chance that up to six wild symbols will be added to the 5-reel set. The wilds get even wilder in the free spin feature, which is where they can expand across any reel they land on and even trigger re-spins to extend the bonus feature.

: Magic Red has continued to receive overwhelmingly positive praise from talkSPORT and The Sun this week, as the two online publications which seem to be determined to become the ultimate tastemakers in the iGaming industry hardly revealed anything new about the Magic Red sister sites, we peeked into the game library to see what was actually new, and the freshly supplemented collection of games scarcely disappoints. Fans of ‘Book of’ style games have a brand-new title to get to grips with, for members looking for an excuse to go back to Ancient Egypt, they couldn’t ask for a better one than the latest game from Spinomenal, Book of Rebirth. The game plays out on five reels and ten pay lines while boasting a 95.9% return to player rate. As there aren’t many bonus features to depend on, it is a nice touch that the standard winning combos can sneak some serious wins into your account. For example, if you catch five of the Pharaoh symbols in a winning sequence, you will win 5,000x your line bet.

To get a ticket into the main bonus event, you will need to find three or more book symbols, which also act as the wild symbols. You will receive ten free games, but before the free spinning commences, a symbol will be chosen at random to act as the expanding wild symbol throughout the feature. Note that the symbol will only expand when it has the chance of forming a winning combo. If you are playing outside of the UK, you always have the option of buying your way into the game.

: Notably, The Sun doesn’t need an excuse to sing the praises of the Magic Red sister sites. But it just so happened that when September came around, the so-called casino ‘experts’ at The Sun used the opportunity of the new month to collate a list of the best online casinos in the UK, and Magic Red entered the list at number 20. Although, given that it was an extensive list of 37 online casinos, the site can’t grumble too much at that ranking position. Why articles have started to create such long lists of top sites is beyond us; it certainly doesn’t make sense from the perspective of your average casino frequenter who is looking for a new domain to dig into; the choice is overwhelming. Especially as the Sun decided to stop reviewing the online casinos at number 15!

MagicRed The Sun

Before publishing the ranked list, The Sun apparently looked at the range of games on offer, conducted a review into how the bonuses and promotions complement the game library and paid consideration to everything from licencing to banking to customer support options. If you want to take The Sun’s word for it and play with the top three casinos, that will leave you with the options Duelz Casino, Mr Vegas, and Pink Casino. It is easy to see why The Sun decided to celebrate the offerings of Magic Red casino, in their previous reviews, they have pointed out that the casino offers 10% cashback on losses, and delivers exciting Drop & Wins rewards from Pragmatic Play.

: The same Slots’n Bash tournament we talked about in our previous update is still going strong at Magic Red and will continue going strong for another week until finally coming to an end on September 13th. What we didn’t note last week – because it wasn’t clear at the time – is that the tournament is split into stages. We’re now in phase four of the tournament, during which one hundred players will share a portion of a ten thousand pound prize pot. When Slots’n Bash ends, it will be replaced by a new promotion called Gus Goes Fishin’ on September 15th. We don’t know anything about the promotion other than its name at the moment, but we’ll be sure to update you when more information becomes available.

Away from the tournaments, the highlight from the selection of slots and games added to MagicRed Casino recently is Carnival of Calacas by Wizard Games, which is presented with a cartoonish take on the Mexican “Day of the Dead theme. It’s lively and colourful and blends medium volatility with the potential for high payouts. The bonus features are especially inventive, with a bonus minigame that feels more like a video game than a casino game. The base game can be dull, though, with no modifiers for the reels and no free spins feature available within the slot at all. Even with that said, the pros of Carnival of Calacas are likely to outweigh the cons in the eyes of most players.

: The biggest question we had about coming back to MagicRed this week was whether the technical issue we reported on last week had been solved. The “promotions” page wasn’t working at all last time we checked, which must surely have been frustrating for any players at MagicRed who wanted to get their hands on perks. Fortunately, we can happily confirm that it’s no longer an issue. The promotions page is available once more – and it’s just as well, because there’s a new “Slots ‘n’ Bash” tournament coming to MagicRed Casino in two days’ time on September 3rd.

MagicRed SlotsNBash

This is the third year that the Slots ’n’ Bash Tournament has come to MagicRed, although it would be wrong to suggest that the casino has exclusivity on it. You’ll also find it available at more than a few of the MagicRed sister sites. This year, the tournament is offering £35,000 in prize money for players who manage to land a winner between now and September 13th. If you’re eyeing up a five-figure prize, though, you’re going to need to lower your expectations. While the prize pool might be £35,000, the highest individual prize is £3000. In total, three hundred players will walk away with at least something from the prize pot. If you fancy being one of them, you have just under two weeks to do something about it. If it isn’t for you, there’s also a Spinomenal Universe tournament up and running from a couple of weeks ago with a larger total prize pot.

: This might not count as news, but we’ve noticed a technical issue with MagicRed since we last visited the casino. There’s a big red “3” next to the “promotions” tab at the top of the casino’s homepage, but clicking on it results in a brief flicker before the casino redirects players towards its live casino offerings. The promotions are currently inaccessible. That’s not great news for the casino or the people who play at it regularly, and we hope it’s a fleeting issue that will be resolved by the time we next come back to see what’s new.

In terms of actual news, MagicRed has again been busy adding new slots to its enormous collection. Acquiring new slots and games is never a problem for the MagicRed sister sites because they’re operated by AG Communications Limited, which is a veritable giant of the iGaming world. The most interesting-looking of the new arrivals is Book of Skulls: Uncharted Treasure by Spinomenal. We’ve become accustomed to “Book of” slots taking ancient civilisations as their point of inspiration, but that isn’t the case with this one – instead, it’s a game all about pirates. That’s about the only thing that makes it special compared to all the games that have come and gone in this never-ending series, but the same “Book of” mechanics and expanding symbols that have come to define all the others still apply here. “Trout’s Treasure: Payday” has also been added to the casino’s portfolio in the past seven days if you still haven’t had enough of the fishing theme trend.

: The Herald might not be a name you’re familiar with if you live south of Hadrian’s Wall, but it’s one of the top daily newspapers in Scotland – and its website has been known to turn its attention to the iGaming scene occasionally. On 16th August, it published an article about the best eighteen casinos to play slots at for real money. We’re not sure why the writer stopped at eighteen when it would have made more sense to stop at fifteen or push on to twenty, but that’s what they did. MagicRed made the list in twelfth overall position. That’s not particularly high praise, but it’s better than not making the list at all.

MagicRed Wolf Gold

If anyone at MagicRed was disappointed with their casino’s overall placement, they might have been able to take consolation in the fact that MagicRed was named as the individual best casino to play Wolf Gold at. The author of the piece doesn’t really explain why they think Wolf Gold is better at MagicRed than anywhere else, but they did at least note that MagicRed’s positive factors include its dual UKGC and MGA licences, range of banking methods and enormous catalogue of slots. We don’t know how much stock we should put in their opinion, though – they incorrectly stated that the casino is British-owned, which it most certainly is not. For anyone interested, the casino named as the best in the UK was All British Casino, followed by Fun Casino in second place and Great Britain Casino in third. They’re some unconventional choices.

: We’re not saying that the developers who come up with names and concepts for online slots are running out of ideas for the “Book Of” series, but we suspect that we might be approaching that point. The newest slots game on the block this week at MagicRed is Book Of Majestic King, which looks like an attempt to combine the usually ancient civilisations-inspired Book Of games with a safari theme. It comes from a Spinomenal and is an extension of the provider’s relatively successful Majestic King series of slots and casino games.

Book Of Majestic King looks and performs exactly as you’d expect a Book Of slots game to behave, right down to the expanding symbols in the free spins feature. However, there’s a fairly major issue with the slot, and that’s its RTP. If the listings we’ve seen are accurate – and we have no reason to suspect that they aren’t – then the RTP of Book Of Majestic King is 91.71%. That’s horrendously low by modern standards. We’re accustomed to seeing lower-than-average RTPs in jackpot slots, but Book Of Majestic King isn’t a jackpot slot. It seems like an unnecessarily stingy game, and that’s reason enough to give it a miss and try some of the other new slots at MagicRed this week, which include the likes of Hugo Legacy and Toro Wilds Reel (yes, it’s formatted as “Wilds Reel” rather than “Wild Reels”). If you’d rather play table games, Ultra Warp Roulette also landed at MagicRed this week.

: All good things come to an end. After three consecutive weeks of Magic Red managing to attract mainstream press publicity, everything’s been quiet in the news for the past week. That’s fine, though, because it gives us a chance to catch up on what’s happening on the casino’s website. In checking the promotions at Magic Red, we find that it’s currently hosting the “Spinomenal Universe” promotion from (oddly enough) Spinomenal, which has a total prize pool of £160,000. That only sounds like a lot of money until you remember that the promotion is available at plenty of the Magic Red sister sites and a lot of casinos outside the AG Communications Limited platform, so it’s broken up into a lot of small payouts rather than a few big ones.

MagicRed Spinomenal Universe

If you want to get involved in the Spinomenal Universe prize pool challenge, you’ll need to take part in twelve tournaments involving specific Spinomenal slots and games between now and mid-September. Specific details about the promotion can be found on the “Promotions” page at Magic Red – they’re too long and complicated to go into detail about here. As today is Friday, this would also be a good time to remind you that every weekend is “live casino weekend” at Magic Red, so players who play live casino games on Saturdays and Sundays at the casino can claim ten per cent cashback on losses. In an ideal world, there wouldn’t be any losses to claim cashback against, but getting some of your losses back is better than nothing.

: Magic Red’s hot streak of turning up in articles about the best online casinos in the UK has continued for the third week running, which all but confirms our theory that somebody involved in the running of the casino is spending a lot of money on promotion and product placement at the moment. Hot on the heels of its appearance in The Sun last week, Magic Red has appeared in not one but two articles in The Independent, which appears to have increased its coverage of the iGaming scene in recent times. The Independent is, in fact, seemingly so keen to write about online casinos that both articles that mention Magic Red appeared on the same day.

In what we think was the first post, Magic Red was named as one of the best mobile casinos for 2023. We don’t necessarily disagree with that assessment; the simple, back-to-basics design of Magic Red makes it a very easy casino to play with on a mobile phone. We wouldn’t say it’s better suited to mobile phones than most of the Magic Red sister sites on the AG Communications Limited platform, but we digress. The Independent also named Magic Red as one of the top online casinos for roulette, which we think is a stretch. Magic Red is a slots site by trade, and if you’re looking for a great casino to play online roulette at, you’d probably be best off going to one which specialises in it.

: Historically speaking, Magic Red has never been one of the top casino sites on its home network. It’s an AG Communications casino, which means that big names like Mr Play are among the Magic Red sister sites. However, last week we speculated about whether Magic Red’s star might be on the rise following the casino attracting a review in the Daily Telegraph. We think we might be onto something because Magic Red has attracted additional positive mentions this week from both TalkSPORT and The Sun on their respective websites. Both companies have their own iGaming sites to run, but that never appears to stop them from opining on casinos and iGaming sites belonging to other people.

Magic Red TalkSPORT Promotion

In the case of TalkSPORT, Magic Red is mentioned in a review of the Crazy Time live dealer game that’s become such a staple at so many UK-facing online casinos. Magic Red is specifically named as the best place on the internet to play Crazy Time, which is a bold claim to make considering that Magic Red isn’t generally seen as a live casino or live game specialist. The reasons given for the ranking don’t really make sense, so this might be a paid placement. Meanwhile, The Sun has referenced Magic Red in an article about the meaning of the phrase “return to player” and the casinos with the best RTP rates and best slots on the internet. Magic Red is ranked third overall, but the wording of the “reasons why” section is suspiciously similar to that of the TalkSPORT article.

: The best place to come to find casino reviews is right here at Sister Site. We’re sure you already know that because you’re here reading these words – and we appreciate you for it. However, when a major newspaper or publication takes an interest in a casino and reviews it, that’s usually news that’s worth reporting. It’s especially newsworthy when it happens to Magic Red, which has never been thought of as one of the top casinos in the UK. There are several MagicRed sister sites more popular than MagicRed itself on the AG Communications Limited platform, so it can’t even be said to be one of the top casino sites on its home network.

Perhaps all of that will change now that MagicRed has been reviewed by The Daily Telegraph. We can’t say for sure whether or not the review was paid for by either MagicRed or AG Communications, but the overall tone of the review is favourable to the casino. The reviewer is especially complementary about MagicRed’s live games selection, the ease of use of its deposit and withdrawal system, and the reliability of the softer architecture it’s built on. It wasn’t quite so positive about the wagering requirements attached to the sign-up offer or the number of slots available. That surprises us a little because MagicRed offers more than three thousand slots based on our estimation. If a reviewer thinks that three thousand slots aren’t enough depth to keep players entertained, we might humbly suggest that they’ve become a little jaded with reviewing casinos.

: Last time we spoke about MagicRed, we were impressed with their ability to update their games library every week, and this week is no different. One of the new games they have added to their site is Pragmatic Play’s Fat Panda, a slot game with an Asian animal theme. It seems like the Pragmatic Play team have had a group movie night watching the Kong Fu Panda series, as this slot seemingly takes heavy inspiration from those movies. Players familiar with Pragmatic Play will trust that they are able to put their own spin on this idea and right they are to trust them. This game has some amazing visuals that create the Asian theme well, with a great soundtrack to go alongside it. In terms of gameplay, this game is played out on 5 x 3 reels with 20 paylines. It has a max win of x20,000 your stake and an RTP of 96.07%.

MagicRed sister sites Cash Truck 2

The new games keep on coming over at MagicRed, as they have also added Quickspin’s Cash Truck 2 to their site this week. Many fans will know the Cash Truck series from the original as well as the Christmas special. However, Quickspin does a good job at improving both the gameplay as well as the visuals with this slot to make it stand out amongst the previous games. This slot plays out on a 6 x 3 grid with 4,096 win ways. It has a max win of x35,000 your stake and an RTP of 96.1%.

: Last week, we reported that MagicRed had added some new games to their site, which is an important feature of a casino site as it allows players to keep their gaming experience new and fresh, so we are happy to see this week they have done the same. One of the new games that came to the MagicRed casino site this week is Forge of the Gods, a slot game developed by Iron Dog that has a Greek theme. The Greek theme is one of the most popular in the iGaming space, so many eyes may be on this game; thankfully, Iron Dog are able to create a game that stands out amongst the rest. The visuals here are good, going for a darker vibe with a fiery background that features a temple for the game’s gird and different Greek Gods as the game’s symbols, all of which are very well designed. In terms of gameplay, this game is played on a 5 x 3 grid with ten bet ways; it has a max win of x5,500 your stake and an RTP of 96%. This game, as well as other new games, are available to play over at MagicRed.

This week MagicRed received one new review on their Trustpilot site, and unfortunately, it is a 1-star review. This review states that the player was unhappy with the lack of winnings they received over on the casino site as well as being unhappy with the length of time they had to wait for their winnings.

: Over at Magic Red, they have added loads of new games to their site this week, which is great news for players looking to try something new and different. Many players will have a bit of football fever, with the final day of the Premier League set to take place this weekend. It seems Magic Red is the same as they have added the football-themed game Club of Legends to their site this week, a slot developed by Spinomenal. This game has everything you would expect to see in a football-themed slot, from a stadium as the background, a pitch as the game’s background, and items such as footballs, football boots, and trophies making up the game’s symbols. The visuals are a bit basic and are nothing that will amaze non-football fans, but they know their audience well with this game. In terms of gameplay, this game is played on a 5 x 4 grid with 100 bet ways. It has an RTP of 96.04%.

MagicRed Club of Legends

Another new game that came to Magic Red this week is Jewel Rush, a slot with a gemstone theme developed by Pragmatic Play. Pragmatic Play is known for its amazing visuals that usually have a colourful and bright colour scheme, and this game is no different, with a blue and pink background and colourful gems making up the game’s icons. This game is played on a 7 x 7 grid with a cluster pays system. It has a max win of x5,000 your stake and an RTP of 96.47%.

MagicRed Review 2024

You wouldn’t necessarily think that MagicRed is one of the most popular AG Communications casinos from looking at it. While we were talking about the MagicRed sister sites further up this page, we mentioned that the best casinos on the platform have unique layouts and designs and come with sportsbooks attached to them. MagicRed doesn’t have a sportsbook and was made with the most basic version of the operator’s templates. Numbers don’t lie, though, and visitor numbers indicate that this casino outperforms most of its peers. Let’s review it and see if we can work out why.

MagicRed sister sites homepage

MagicRed Welcome Promotions

Most of the MagicRed sister sites offer a matched deposit welcome promotion to any new players they’re able to attract. Some of the better ones will throw in some free spins on top of that matched deposit. MagicRed isn’t quite so exuberant. The only offer on the table for new arrivals here is twenty free spins, which can be claimed by making a first deposit of £10 or more upon registering an account. The spins have to be used within twenty-four hours of allocation and may only be redeemed on specific slots. The offer doesn’t mention wagering requirements, so we assume that none exist.

Other Promotions

As you can probably discern from the size of the welcome promotion, MagicRed doesn’t really go big on promotions. There are a couple of ongoing perks available to loyal players, though, the most attractive of which is “Magic Spins Tuesday.” That’s a standing offer of ten free spins for every deposit of £20 or more players make on Tuesdays. The maximum reward available via this promotion is thirty free spins, for which players will need to deposit £60. The spins can only be used on Starburst by NetEnt, and there’s an x35 wagering requirement attached to any winnings that they might generate.

For those who prefer live casino action to slots, there’s a ten per cent cashback offer available on weekends. Ten per cent of all losses up to a maximum of £20 will be awarded to anyone who uses the code LiveBoost when depositing and playing live casino games on Saturdays and Sundays. The cashback bonus is delivered as real cash, so there aren’t any wagering requirements attached to it.

As you may note when you arrive on the MagicRed homepage, the casino also offers entry to big-money tournaments and competitions. We don’t class these as real promotions because they’re hosted by games providers rather than the casino itself and are fleeting in their nature.

Pros and Cons of MagicRed

Pros:

This is a very simple “what you see is what you get” casino. It’s unpretentious and has been designed for simplicity. The lack of big bonuses means players don’t have to worry about sticky wagering requirements, and the catalogue of slots and games in the MagicRed library is enormous.

Cons:

While not having to deal with sticky wagering requirements is nice, the lack of decent promotions at MagicRed means that the casino lacks bite. The bigger issue, though, is the lack of proper customer support. Any decent casino should offer live chat customer service as part of its basic package, but MagicRed doesn’t do that. Email-only support just doesn’t cut it in this day and age.

Top Games at MagicRed

A quick look at the MagicRed homepage will tell you that while there are live casino games available here, they take second billing to the thousands of slots that the casino comes with. Of all those slots, these are the ones you’ll find closest to the top of the “featured games” section.

Gold Blitz is a high-volatility slot game developed by Fortune Factory Studios, featuring a 5×4 grid and 4,096 ways to win. The slot is themed around wealth and offers a maximum win of 5,000 times your stake. In the base game, you can collect cash prizes up to 2,500x your stake. The game offers two bonus features: one with multiplier wilds up to x5 and another called Gold Blitz™, which guarantees a win on each spin. The RTP is set at 96%, but be aware that it has adjustable ranges. Whether you’re a fan of money-themed slots or looking for a game with multiple bonus features, Gold Blitz might just be the one to try.

Get ready to cast your line and reel in some big wins with Big Bass Splash, a slot game by Reel Kingdom. This title is a sequel to the popular Big Bass Bonanza, but it takes things up a notch with enhanced gameplay and a higher winning potential. With an RTP of 95.67% and high volatility, this game is not for the faint-hearted. It features ten betways and a maximum win of up to 5,000x your bet. The slot’s symbols range from monster trucks to fishing rods and, of course, fish, which also serve as cash symbols. The game’s main attraction is its free spins feature, which can be triggered by landing 3, 4, or 5 scatter symbols. During the free spins, new fishermen Wild symbols come into play, substituting for other symbols and bringing extra cash prizes.

Experience the grandeur of the African savannah in Majestic King, a medium-volatility slot game by Spinomenal. With five reels, three rows, and 25 win ways, this slot offers a variety of features to keep players engaged. Look out for randomly triggered stacked wilds and double symbols in both the base game and the bonus round. The game also includes a multiplier collect bonus game, where you can accumulate multipliers for bigger wins. With an RTP of 95.16%, the game’s maximum win potential is 300x your stake. While the game offers a visually and audibly pleasing experience, its maximum win potential may not be as high as some players might prefer.

Withdrawal Processing & Support

MagicRed plays fast and loose with the guidelines it provides for its withdrawal processes. Players using debit cards are told that they might get instant withdrawals but also that they might have to wait up to six business days. That drops to between instant and four working days for those using an e-wallet held with ecoPayz or AstroPay or anyone using an instant bank transfer service like Trustly or Rapid Transfer. If you have a PayPal, Skrill, Neteller or MuchBetter e-wallet, the maximum turnaround drops to two working days. Bank transfers are there as a backup option, but they start at two days and might take up to six. The vagueness probably doesn’t help much for players who are anxious about when their funds might turn up.

Customer Services & Licensing

Customer service is where MagicRed really lets itself down. The one and only way of contacting customer service at this casino is by using the contact form, which can be found under the “Contact Us” link at the bottom of the casino’s homepage. Customer support is a weakness at quite a few of the MagicRed sister sites, too, but the best ones offer live chat at the very least. MagicRed is stuck in the past. In terms of licensing, the casino is covered by the iGaming licence that AG Communications Limited holds with the UK Gambling Commission under account reference 39483. The operator has been fined in the recent past, and details of the fine can be found in the table above.

MagicRed – The Verdict

Nothing about MagicRed stands out. The slots are great, but they’re no greater than they are at most of the MagicRed sister sites. Plenty of those MagicRed sister sites provide those games with better promotions and a better quality of customer support. We set out at the start of this review to find out why MagicRed is so much more popular than so many of its peers on the same casino network, but we’re forced to conclude that we have no idea. It’s a mystery. This is a reasonably solid casino, but the lack of proper customer support and the so-so promotions ought to make it average at best on its platform.
