All Maxent Limited Casinos 2024

Maxent Limited Sister Sites

Maxent Limited is known to the UK Gambling Commission but had its licence revoked in January 2020 after the commission decided it wasn’t happy with the company’s new controller. As such, all Maxent casino sites block access to players in the UK and we do not advocate the idea of trying to play at any of them. We present this page for information only.

Vulkan Bet

Vulkan Bet logo

Visitors to VulkanBet, which is the flagship casino in the Maxent Limited casinos range, are invited to “get their game on” by playing in the casino or betting on any of the sports or esports betting options offered by the site. Rather than promoting the contents of the casino by showing off the range of games that exists there, VulkanBet instead offers a compelling reason of lists to choose the site. That starts with the gaming experience, which is where Maxent Limited takes the opportunity to brag about the expansive range of 1500 casino games available at VulkanBet. Potential players are also informed that every esports promotion at the site has been designed with players in mind. Esports betting seems to be given far more prominence at VulkanBet than it is at most sports betting casino sites, so perhaps that’s the site’s niche. When we say “esports,” we mean that VulkanBet takes bets on PlayStation games like “Call of Duty” and “League of Legends,” as well as the sports games you’d expect to see in such a category. VulkanBet has been designed with younger players in mind and appears to serve those players particularly well, but doesn’t serve players in the UK at all. Maxent Limited doesn’t have a UK Gambling Commission licence, so these sites are off-limits to UK-based players.

GoSlotty Casino

GoSlotty Casino logo

GoSlotty Casino or Go Slotty (you can phrase it however you prefer) was designed to serve a very different audience to that of VulkanBet. Players go to VulkanBet because they want depth and variety. Players come to Go Slotty because they want speed. You don’t even need to register an account to play at GoSlotty – all you need is a Trustly account to make a deposit with, and you can start playing games almost immediately. The lack of customer verification would never fly with the UK Gambling Commission, so this is a rare occasion of a casino network company benefitting from operating outside the parameters of that licence. All of the Maxent Limited casinos have a motto, and the motto of Go Slotty is “get in, cash out.” The colour scheme of the site – yellow and blue – is a visual acknowledgement that its target market is Sweden, where “no-frills” casino sites like this one are extremely popular. When we say “no-frills,” we’re talking about the lack of promotions, not the lack of content. There are more than 3500 casino games available at Go Slotty – most of which are slots – so variety and choice aren’t an issue here. The number of game providers the casino works with is lower than you’d expect given the size of the portfolio, but it’s a little immaterial when UK players can’t play any of the games anyway.

GGBet

GGbet Casino logo

GGBet proudly proclaims itself to be the exclusive betting partner of PGL, but it might take you several Google searches to find out what PGL is if you’re not familiar with the term. As it turns out, it’s the Professional Gaming League, and it stages esports tournaments with a focus on “Counterstrike.” That means we now have two casino and gaming sites on the Maxent Limited casinos network focused on esports. If anything, GGBet is even more dedicated to esports betting than VulkanBet is. “Counterstrike” is the best betting option offered to players when they arrive on the homepage of the site, with real sports taking second billing by some distance. There’s no casino section to be found at GGBet at all, so this site will be of no interest to anyone who simply wants to play online slots or spin the odd roulette wheel. GGBet is actually the most recent addition to the Maxent Limited range, so we can assume it was created to serve the increasingly large esports betting market. It’s the very definition of a minority interest iGaming site, but the number of people interested in such things is a sizeable minority, and the site appears to be among the best at what it does.

Slotty Vegas

Slotty Vegas logo

Anybody who knows anything about iGaming and online casinos should know what to expect from a casino site with a name like Slotty Vegas, but this Maxent Limited casino isn’t like most sites of its kind. Aside from the presence of the word “Vegas” in the title, there’s no Las Vegas theme at this casino at all – no bright lights, no neon, and no backdrops of the famous Sin City skyline. Instead, Slotty Vegas is a casino built around promotions. It specialises in what it calls “supercharged wins,” which is a feature touted as being exclusive to Slotty Vegas. Every time you win anything playing at Slotty Vegas, your next win gets “supercharged” with additional funds provided “on the house” by the casino, so if you win again with your next spin, you’ll win more than you would if you were playing with nothing more than your stake. The site claims that this results in Slotty Vegas paying out 20% more than any other casino site for the same wins, although this statistic is impossible to verify without further information. There’s also an ongoing cashback offer against losses incurred while playing at the site, so if we take Slotty Vegas at face value, it seems to be an exceptionally generous casino site. Regrettably, we can’t verify that theory because we’re UK-based, and we can’t play there.

About Maxent Limited

The “Maxent” in Maxent Entertainment Limited stands for “Maximum Entertainment,” which is how the company styles itself on its official website even though “Maxent Limited” is the name of the registered company and also the name on its Malta Gaming Authority licence. This is a casino network company that’s survived despite the odds. Being stripped of a UK Gambling Commission licence, which is what happened to Maxent in January 2020 after five years of trading within the UK, would be a death sentence for most network companies. Maxent Limited changed, adapted, and then relaunched elsewhere in Europe with a new look and new casino sites. Since then, it’s gone from strength to strength. We don’t know if we’ll ever see the company back in the UK because the UKGC seems to have an objection to the company’s owners, but casinos owned by this firm are a big hit in Scandinavia, Germany, and further afield.

The new Maxent Limited website is hyper-modern and shows off the company’s cool, urban-looking office space full of casually-dressed people working hard at their computers. They proclaim themselves to be “the new kids on the block,” but even they have to admit that the sentiment isn’t strictly true. Maxent isn’t a new casino network company – it’s a rebranded one. The company used to be called “NRR Entertainment,” and when they say they’ve been “around town for a while,” they mean they’ve already existed for well over a decade. Max Entertainment is simply a new brand name and a relaunch, and it’s one that’s gone very well. Still, though, this is a relatively small casino company when it comes to employee numbers. The most recent figures available, which have been verified by Dun & Bradstreet, confirm that only 25 people work for Maxent Limited. Despite that, their revenue for the last financial year was just over £1.5m. Company director Gregory Bennet must be happy with the level of efficiency he’s getting from his small workforce.

Maxent Limited Website

Maxent Limited Values

In keeping with Maxent Limited’s self-styled image as a “cheeky” and “sassy” business, the company’s website spends a lot of time talking about the Max Entertainment values, ethos, and culture. In fact, it spends as much time talking about what it isn’t as it does talking about what it is. We won’t list all of the attributes here, but it might interest you to know that Maxent is “eco, cheeky, inspired, and courageous” but isn’t “shy, passive, apprehensive, or phoney.” The four core values of Maxent Limited, which are treated as mantras, are growth, loyalty, responsibility, and excitement.

There’s an entire page on the Max Entertainment website devoted to the company’s values, and it starts with the interesting sentence, “our values are the foundation of our walls.” That doesn’t really mean anything other than a suggestion that Maxent doesn’t understand what foundations are. The opening paragraph goes on to say that “success is non-singular” and then describes everybody who works for Maxent Limited as “a pack of wolves” and “misfits.” It’s certainly a welcome break from the kind of corporate tone we’re accustomed to seeing on the websites of casino network companies. Still, we’re not sure that it’s a great set of words to describe a company that wants to be trusted with large sums of money by players.

There doesn’t appear to have been a significant update to the Maxent Website since the end of 2019 when the company released a statement acknowledging the loss of its UK Gambling Commission licence. Maxent Limited disagreed with the decision, stating that it had previously been assured by the Commission that a licence would be granted and registered its intention to appeal. There’s no reference to the appeal on the UKGC website, and, in any event, the company remains without a UK licence. We can only assume that it was rejected if an appeal were ever registered. The Maxent Limited website had been very active prior to that point, so we’re unsure why it’s since fallen silent. The same silent-running approach has been taken with the company’s social media accounts. The link to the Maxent Limited Facebook account is broken because the page has been removed, and nothing new has been added to the Maxent Instagram account since August 2020. It could be that they’re planning a revamp, or it could be that these channels just aren’t as important now that they’re not battling to gain a foothold in the highly-competitive UK casino marketplace.
