The slots and casino games come off as being of secondary importance compared to the massive sportsbook, but their presence makes LS Bet a good all-rounder.

SlottoJam Casino

We can say that Media Entertainment N.V. isn’t a casino network company that builds its sites using templates just by comparing LS Bet to Slotto Jam. The difference couldn’t be more striking. LS Bet is a website perfectly geared to making and taking sports bets. Slotto Jam – as you’d hope, based on the name – is an online slots site geared up for modern, discerning slots players. Tornado Bet

It’s similar to LS Bet in a lot of ways – and was always going to be, considering it belongs to the same casino network – but its blue-on-blue colour scheme makes it look a little classier than its sister site, and it has a different focus. Rather than trying to bowl visitors over with a wide range of betting options on its homepage, Tornado Bet focuses on “last-minute bets.” It’s a place to come looking for last-chance bets on games that are already in play or fixtures that are about to come to an end. Perhaps that’s the inspiration for the site’s name – tornados are chaotic and immediate, and so are the betting options at Tornado Bet! We should point out that there’s also a casino section at Tornado Bet, but you know what to expect from it by now – it’s the same set of providers, and so it’s the same collection of slots and live games. The only discernible difference with the casino section of Tornado Bet is that the Pragmatic Play “Drops and Wins” tournaments are given slightly higher billing than they are elsewhere on the range.

Bet9 Casino

If you went straight from LS Bet to Bet9, you’d probably spend a second double-checking to ensure that you’d changed sites rather than altered language settings. Bet9 is, to all intents and purposes, a Portuguese-language version of LS Bet. The sites have different logos and different web addresses, but the content of each site is identical, and so is the colour scheme. Reload Bet

It probably doesn’t take a genius to work out that Reload Bet is yet another Media Entertainment N.V. sports betting site by looking at the name, but this sports betting site is very different to the other three that we’ve looked at. For a start, you won’t see any sports at all when you first arrive at the casino’s homepage. Reload Bet wants you to register before it shows you any of its wares, and it tries to incentivise you to do so by offering a large bonus against your first deposit. Players who might be on the edge about registering are told that customer satisfaction is Reload Bet’s main goal and that playing at Reload Bet is the safest they’ll ever be while gambling online. We can’t agree with that statement, given that the site lacks a credible licence, but we can’t fault them for trying to push the envelope. It’s possible to find your way past the sign-up screen by selecting one or more of the options at the top of the Reload Bet homepage, which reveals that the sportsbook section of the site is the same as LS Bet, but yellow and grey rather than green and white. It’s more of the same within the online slots collection too. While the motto of Reload Bet is “keep betting,” and the casino sells itself around the idea that you can “reload” your account and keep the bets moving faster here than you can elsewhere, the reality is that the functionality of Reload Bet is no better or worse than that of LS Bet.

We only know that the business was founded in 2009 because it appears in the records of the Open Corporates website. Another thing that can be said about the business with a reasonable degree of certainty is that Europe isn’t the focus of its operations. We’ve already seen that one of the five Media Entertainment N.V. sites is focused on the Brazilian market. In fact, all five casinos are primarily geared to serve customers in South America. Laws about gambling in South America vary drastically from country to country, but it’s generally seen as an emerging market, and there are very few casino network companies serving it. Media Entertainment N.V. might have carved itself a niche by doing so.

Some sources available online indicate that there are connections between Media Entertainment N.V. and another casino network company called Entertainment International Malta Limited. We can find no evidence of any such link, and we can confirm that Media Entertainment N.V. has never been licenced with the Malta Gaming Authority. If any such connection existed, it would make sense for Media Entertainment N.V. to take advantage of it by using a Maltese licence. The fact that no such thing happened indicates, to us at least, that the connection doesn’t exist.

We’re accustomed to not being able to find accurate financial information or details on employee numbers for Curacao-based companies, so it’s no surprise to us that we can’t find any for Media Entertainment N.V. Dun and Bradstreet, which specialises in such things, has done some modelling and estimated that the company has fewer than ten employees in total. It also estimates that Media Entertainment N.V’s revenue during the last financial year was around £380,000. That would make it a relatively small casino network company, but of course, we have no idea how accurate the Dun and Bradstreet model is. They could have far more people working for them – and they could be making far more money.

It’s been a while since Media Entertainment N.V. launched a new casino website, so it appears that the company is happy with the status quo for now. It may not need any more sites than the five it already has to satisfy its growing customer base in South America. The obvious way to expand would be to acquire some licences that would make it easier to serve customers in Europe – not least the UK – but there’s been no suggestion that such a move is on the horizon.
