It’s often difficult to gather reliable information about casinos owned by companies in places like Belize, but we think this version of Pigmo is actually the casino’s second incarnation. We think the first version lived and died a few years ago after an unsuccessful attempt to launch a token called $PIG and do something involving NFTs, but it relaunched in 2025 under new ownership and dreams of becoming a successful cryptocurrency casino without tying itself to a particular coin or token. Is the second time likely to be the charm, or has Pigmo had its bacon already?

There is, we think, something like five hundred casinos out there now that accept or otherwise deal in cryptocurrency. It’s no longer a unique selling point for any iGaming site, and casinos that want to make a dent in the market usually have to go big with their welcome promotions. Almost everybody knows and accepts that as fact, but Pigmo Casino doesn’t seem to. There are no welcome promotions available here at all, so there’s no red carpet treatment and nothing specific there to tempt you into giving Pigmo a try rather than moving onto the next crypto-driven casino site. If you ask us – and you effectively are because you’re reading this review – that’s a mistake.

Pigmo offers up to 25% cashback against losses every day. We know that because it says so in the banner on its homepage. The sharper-eyed among you will have noticed the ‘up to’ in the description, though, and you’re right to be wary of it. At first, it doesn’t seem like there’s any further information about the cashback incentive available anywhere on the Pigmo website, but you’ll eventually find it when you click the ‘VIP System’ link. Rather than taking you to information about a VIP system, it takes you to a full breakdown of the cashback incentive. It appears that there’s no actual VIP system here at all, despite the existence of the link. That’s bizarre.

The actual amount of cashback you get from Pigmo is linked strictly to how much you’ve spent and lost the previous day. If that’s between £1 and £99.99, it’s only two per cent. That jumps up to 4% at £100, 8% at £500, 10% at £3000, 12% at £10,000, 15% at £15,000, 20% at £20,000, and 25% at £25,000 or more. It doesn’t appear that there are any wagering requirements applied to cashback funds, so the bonus is as simple as it sounds.

What are the Pros and Cons of Pigmo Casino?

Pros: Pigmo has a decent selection of slots. It automatically pays cashback against all losses, has its own crypto token (we think), and, in the future, might also do something involving NFTs. It doesn’t appear that these features are up and running just yet, though.

Cons: The whole Pigmo website seems to be stuck between the old and the new. It talks about $PIG, but the token had a value of literal zero when this review was written. The NFT staking system doesn’t appear to work. The casino talks about sports betting but doesn’t actually seem to offer this feature. It also talks about a VIP system that doesn’t exist. If it weren’t for the very active social media channels attached to the casino, we’d assume it was no longer being maintained.

We can see from the Pros and Cons information above that Pigmo is a casino that has problems, but its game catalogue isn’t among them. Visit the slots selection, and you’ll find that the first games you see there come from proven hit-makers like Hacksaw Gaming, NoLimit City, and Pragmatic Play. As a sample, the top row of slots on the day this review was written contained Mental 2 (NoLimit), Bandit Megaways (Pragmatic Play), Danny Dolar (Hacksaw), Rad Maxx (Hacksaw), Spinman (Hacksaw), 5 Lions Megaways 2 (Pragmatic Play), Hounds of Hell (Hacksaw), and Life and Death (Hacksaw).

The total number of slots available at Pigmo Casino is in excess of 1400, which is more than enough to keep people entertained no matter what their individual tastes are. The live casino section suffers from not having access to Evolution Gaming or Pragmatic Play Live, but it does at least offer a reasonable selection from Playtech. We are, however, still baffled by the situation with sports betting. There’s a link in the casino’s footer to rules for sports betting, and there are thumbnails for sports betting categories on the homepage, but the thumbnails don’t work, and the sportsbook doesn’t seem to exist. We really don’t know what’s going on with this one.

We can’t find a complete breakdown of all the coins and tokens that Pigmo accepts, but we understand that it’s a cryptocurrency-only casino. As such, we’d expect it to be able to provide instant withdrawals. Failing that, we’d be satisfied with same-day. We can’t find any confirmation of turnaround times anywhere in the terms and conditions, though, and you can add that to the pile of things about Pigmo that worry us.

Customer Support and Licensing

That pile of concerns just keeps growing. If you want to contact Pigmo, the “Contact Us” link takes you to an email address ([email protected]) rather than live chat or anything more useful. We suppose you could try contacting the company on Twitter/X, Discord, or Telegram, where it’s very active, but we still think it should have a formal, website-based channel for live assistance. The casino is covered by the Internet Gaming Licence that its operator, Maktub Limited, holds in the State of Anjouan. The licence, which can be extended to cover any future Pigmo sister sites, means very little in most of the world and doesn’t satisfy legal requirements in the United Kingdom.

Pigmo Casino – The Verdict

We find Pigmo very confusing. The information about $PIG and NFTs on the casino’s website seems outdated, it talks about a VIP scheme that doesn’t exist, and it offers links to a sportsbook that doesn’t appear to exist either. However, if you went off nothing but the casino’s Twitter feed, you’d think it was a roaring success. How is there such a disconnect between what the casino claims to be and what it actually is? Did we catch Pigmo while it was in the middle of revamping its website? There’s no way of knowing, but we wouldn’t play at any casino that had the problems we found while reviewing this one.
