It’s one of the lesser-known casinos on the Cypriot iGaming company’s platform but comes with an impressive total of more than six thousand casino games for players to choose from. The sheer volume of choice is likely to be a big enough draw to tempt players into giving it a try but does Prime Casino have enough about it to keep players coming back for the long haul? Why does it seem to be growing in popularity now, twenty years since its launch? We’ll find out by reviewing it.

Prime Casino used to have an Egyptian theme, which was always an odd choice for a casino with such a generic name. In 2024, the theme disappeared. It’s now a much plainer-looking casino, but still promises that it’s “transcending the ordinary” with its welcome promotion. We’d beg to disagree given that it’s a mere 100% matched deposit worth no more than £50 and comes with no additional perks, but it’s still a fair enough mid-range offer, with a wagering requirement of x30 attached.

If you don’t want that welcome offer, you could instead deposit £10 and enter the code “PrimeBB” to get an alternative promotion of 151 free spins on the always-popular Big Bass Splash slot. If you’re more into e-wallets, the supported options are PayPal, Skrill and Payz. Fast bank transfers can be facilitated through Trustly or Sofort, and Apple Pay is also acceptable. You’re looking at a £10 minimum for deposits and a £20 minimum for withdrawals, and the turnaround time for withdrawals is “within a few hours” wherever possible.

The licence that covers Prime Casino is the one that Skill On Net Limited holds with the UK Gambling Commission under reference 39326. In May 2023, Skill On Net avoided a fine by paying a settlement of £305,150 after conceding that it had broken licence conditions aimed at ensuring safer gambling and preventing money laundering. The licence is still in force, and also covers the Prime Casino sister sites.

Prime Casino – The Verdict

The single most important factor at Prime Casino in the eyes of most players will be the fact that it offers so many games, with over six thousand in its portfolio. All other considerations will be treated as minor in the minds of those players, and that’s a perspective we understand.
