Reel Fortune
The Reel Fortune sister sites are operated by Reel United of Costa Rica.
Reel Fortune Sister Sites 2024
The company behind Reel Fortune says that its management team has twenty years’ worth of experience in the industry, but doesn’t tell us anything about who they are or where they’re based. It’s only by digging through the casino’s full terms and conditions that we know they’re based in Costa Rica, and we’re calling them Reel United because that’s the name of the affiliate company that promotes Reel Fortune. With so little information available, it’s impossible to be certain that there aren’t any Reel Fortune sister sites out there. However, there are no other brands listed on the Reel United website. That leads us to believe that this is the only online casino that the company currently owns and operates. If that changes, and we become aware of new Reel Fortune sister sites, we’ll update this page. Until then, here’s a comprehensive review of the casino.

Reel Fortune Review 2024
Reel Fortune doesn’t have the look of a modern online casino – there’s something a little vintage (or possibly dated) about its design – but it went live in 2024 and is, thus far, the only casino brand to appear under the Reel United umbrella. It’s based in Costa Rica, and it’s unlicensed and unregulated, which is generally a bad combination. It also accepts players from the UK without having a licence to do so, which is against the law. That’s not the best start to a review, but let’s see if there’s anything here to tempt players who live in places where it’s legal to play.
Reel Fortune Welcome Offers
Reel Fortune’s welcome package offers up to £6,000 in bonuses spread over three deposits. With deposit one, players get a 100% bonus up to £1,000 with a minimum deposit of £25, requiring a 40x playthrough of both the deposit and bonus combined. For deposit two, the bonus jumps to 150% up to £2,000, still with a £25 minimum deposit and the same 40x playthrough condition. Finally, third deposits attract a massive 300% bonus up to £3,000 once Step 2 is completed, again with the same wagering requirements. The wagering requirements are perhaps a smidge higher than we’d like them to be based on industry averages, but it’s still a compelling offer.
Ongoing Promotions
As well as the warm welcome described above, Reel Fortune offers a range of ongoing promotions to keep things interesting. The £50 Crypto Upgrade rewards players with a £50 bonus after a minimum £25 deposit (in crypto, obviously), but it’s only available as a one-off. There’s a 26x wagering requirement on the bonus, meaning players need to bet £1,300 before they can cash out. Specific games like progressive slots, video poker, and some table games don’t count towards meeting the playthrough. Additionally, any amount exceeding the cashout limit will be removed automatically. For those who enjoy free spins, there’s the 10 Daily Free Spins promotion. Players get ten spins on Viking Victory, with each spin valued at £0.30. At least one £25 (or more) deposit must have been made within the last thirty days to qualify for the offer. Winnings are subject to a 26x playthrough, and the maximum withdrawal from these winnings is capped at £50. This deal also excludes certain game types from contributing to the playthrough.
Reel Fortune’s 80% Crypto Reload bonus gives up to £800 on a £25 deposit, but players must wager both the deposit and bonus 40 times. For those facing unlucky streaks, the Daily Cashback offers 40% cashback on the next day’s losses, with a 26x wagering requirement. The Happy Hour promotion spices things up on Wednesdays, offering a range of rewards depending on deposit amounts, from £5 for a £20 deposit to £100 for a £401 deposit, all with a 26x playthrough requirement.
Reel Rewards
The casino’s “Reel Rewards” Loyalty Program has three VIP levels: Spin, Wild, and Jackpot. Each level comes with increasing perks and is designed to reward consistent play rather than just big spending. Players earn Fortune Points (FP) based on their wagers, with two points per £1 wagered at Spin, three at Wild, and four at Jackpot. As players climb these levels, the benefits ramp up, with bigger weekly bonuses, higher reload percentages, and enhanced cashback offers. At the Spin level, weekly bonuses reach 125%, reloads are 85%, and there’s a 15% cashback. As you move up to Wild and Jackpot levels, bonuses increase to 200% and 250%, reloads rise to 90% and 100%, and cashback jumps to 25% and 40%. Birthday perks also scale up, starting at £30 and a 200% bonus for Spin members and reaching up to £75 and 500% for Jackpot VIPs. Cashouts speed up, too, with faster processing at higher levels.
To qualify, players must meet minimum deposit requirements within specific timeframes and maintain monthly deposits to keep their VIP status. However, the focus is on brand loyalty rather than high deposits. Players who believe they qualify for a VIP level but haven’t yet been invited are encouraged to reach out to support for a review of their account.
What are the Pros and Cons of Reel Fortune Casino?
Pros: Reel Fortune is serious about bonuses. It stacks a lot of bonus cash on the table for new players and follows it up with a series of strong ongoing promotions. The Reel Rewards system is designed to keep players interested for the long term, and so long as it does what it says it does, it should work.
Cons: There’s no way to get money out of Reel Fortune unless you’re using crypto. The casino doesn’t have a licence, which means there’s no regulation, and it’s based in Costa Rica. That’s become the new home of outlaw casinos since Curacao cleaned its act up. Reel Fortune’s presence in the UK market is illegal.
Top Games at Reel Fortune
Most of the slots and games at Reel Fortune come from providers like Rival Gaming, which is a direct consequence of the casino having no licence. If it had one, it would be able to attract games from better providers. It must be said, though, that it keeps its limited portfolio up to date. The top row of slots on the Reel Fortune Casino homepage at the time this review was written were Souls of the Dead, Western Legends, Shake Your Mummymaker, and Mandarin Tiger, all of which were relatively recent releases. You can forget about seeing the likes of Starburst and Book of Dead here, though – they’re reserved for regulated casino sites.
The same problem has also affected Reel Fortune’s ability to get live casino games. Given the name “Reel Fortune,” it’s to be expected that the site specialises in slots more than live dealer games, but it’s still a surprise to see that there are only five games in the “live” category. It makes you wonder why they bothered. For the record, the live games here are American Auto Roulette, American Roulette, Baccarat, Blackjack, and European Roulette. Should we count them as five separate games when three of them are roulette? We’ll leave that up to you, but the range is obviously very limited.
Withdrawal Processing and Support
While you can deposit money into your Reel Fortune account using almost any method you fancy, getting it back out again is much more difficult. Withdrawals can only be made in crypto – specifically Bitcoin, Tether, and Litecoin. The minimum withdrawal is £25, there’s no maximum per transaction if you’re using Bitcoin or Tether, and while timescales aren’t given, we presume the process to be instant.
Customer Support and Licensing
You can email reel Fortune on [email protected], but it’s more efficient to use the live chat feature. The live chat widget is actually annoyingly intrusive – it pops up and beeps every ten minutes whether you’re using it or not. We don’t know who thought that would be a good idea. As we’ve already noted more than once, Reel Fortune operates without a licence, which makes the casino illegal in the UK and in quite a few other regulated territories, too. While we don’t believe there are any Reel Fortune sister sites at present, we hope that any that appear in the future have licences.
Reel Fortune – The Verdict
We appreciate what Reel Fortune is trying to do with its massive bonuses – it’s trying to persuade potential players that it’s worth overlooking its lack of licensing because the rewards are so great. We’ll never endorse an unlicensed casino, though, and beyond the bonuses, the casino is pretty weak. The portfolio of games here is very limited, and the whole site looks basic and bland. There are bigger, better, and safer online casinos out there on the international iGaming scene than this one.
What are players saying about Reel Fortune Casino?
Here are our condensed / reader’s digest summaries of recent player reviews of Reel Fortune.
- 24-Sep-2024 by Jeff:
The slots here are incredibly tight! I’ve played many of these games elsewhere, but I’ve never seen them this tight. I really like Qora games, and they’ve got a good selection, but my favourites are always unavailable. It’s been two months, and they keep saying they’re working on it. I’ve tried closing my account several times, but they keep throwing promos at me. Hundreds of spins later with no bonus, and when you finally hit one, the payout is laughable. I won’t deposit here again unless I see genuine change. – source: Casino Guru - 15-Jun-2024 by Bretames:
The deposit bonuses are excellent, but there aren’t many free promotions to take advantage of. The games are fair and enjoyable for a bit of free time, but I didn’t win anything noteworthy – just over £25 before losing it all. – source: Casino Guru - 10-Jun-2024 by Joshawa:
They’ve got all the popular RTG slots, but for some reason, the gameplay, speed, and graphics quality just don’t seem as good as other casinos I’ve tried. – source: Casino Guru - 05-May-2024 by Bry:
I played using a free bonus and didn’t hit a single win. The slots are ridiculously tight. I don’t think I’ll ever make a deposit here. – source: Casino Guru - 20-Apr-2024 by Booty:
This casino is basically just a standard, run-of-the-mill casino with a bland layout like so many others. I haven’t won anything here yet, so I can’t say if withdrawals are straightforward. If you’re after mediocrity, this is your place. – source: Casino Guru - 15-Apr-2024 by Aileen:
I received my withdrawal, and it was processed and paid within 48 hours. This was my first crypto withdrawal from this casino, and I’ll definitely play here again. On a scale of one to five, I’d give them a 4.5. – source: Casino Guru - 10-Apr-2024 by Let’s:
I’m not too keen on this casino. I made two clean deposits and didn’t win anything. – source: Casino Guru - 05-Apr-2024 by Barney:
So far, the experience has been okay. My first BTC payout of £280 took four days, which is decent. However, I’ve had quick first payouts with other casinos, only to face issues with larger payouts later, so I’m hoping that won’t happen here. The online chat is helpful but can be slow to respond or acknowledge emails. – source: Casino Guru - 01-Apr-2024 by Serenity:
I haven’t spent much time on this site yet. The rewards for signing up didn’t amount to anything, and the games were lagging. I’ll give it another try, but I won’t deposit any money until I can play some other games. – source: Casino Guru - 25-Mar-2024 by Jack:
There aren’t loads of games, and the slots feel quite tight, but that’s not unexpected. However, the games they do have are fun, and they’ve got a decent Keno game. Not fantastic, but alright. – source: Casino Guru
