We first became aware of Slotra Casino when it was listed on the Anjouan Gaming Licence of Vol-Sol N.V. in 2024, but there’s reason to believe from looking at the casino’s website that it’s been around for longer. It’s very clear from the homepage what the proposition at Slotra is – more than five thousand games and bonuses that are “sweeter than honey.” In fact, the promotional text claims that once you’ve started with the bonuses, you can’t stop. That’s a bold promise for any online casino to make, but does Slotra live up to it? Read on to find out.

Slotra Casino Welcome Offers

Well, this is awkward. Encouraged by the promise made on the Slotra homepage, we clicked our way through to the Promotions page only to be greeted by a message that says – and this is a direct quote – “Oh, we have no bonuses.” It was suggested that we might want to check back later, but if the casino literally doesn’t have any bonuses, we don’t see what will be achieved by coming back to the page. While we could wax lyrical about this, the long and short of the matter is that the promise made on the Slotra homepage is a lie.

Ongoing Promotions

The problem at Slotra isn’t just that there are no promotions (although that is, admittedly, a pretty big problem). It’s that there are promotions advertised on the homepage that don’t actually exist. There are clickable options for fifteen per cent cashback and (separately) ten free spins, but clicking on either of them takes you through to the same page we mentioned above. It appears that bonuses have been removed since Slotra was launched, which isn’t the sign of a casino that’s in good health.

Slotra also has a VIP scheme, also referred to as a Loyalty Program, but it promises that “the action is being brought back in 2022,” which came and went a long time ago. The banners that are supposed to provide information about the various VIP ranks have placeholder text on them, and no further details are provided. Again, it looks like Slotra Casino once offered VIP rewards, but doesn’t do so any longer. Is this casino even still a going concern? It’s difficult to say, but we have serious reservations.

What are the Pros and Cons of Slotra Casino?

Pros: Slotra claims to offer more than 5300 games. If that’s true – and even if nothing else is – then it’s a casino with an enormous portfolio and lots of quality iGaming options. Sports betting is also available, but the casino doesn’t treat it as a priority.

Cons: We think the casino has either been abandoned or is in the process of rebuilding. Aspects of the site haven’t been updated since 2022, and the bonuses have been removed, but the casino was re-licensed in Anjouan in 2024. That signals an intent from the operator to do something with the brand, but in its current state, it’s just a shell.

The most popular and most promoted games on the Slotra homepage come from Pragmatic Play, which is one of very few big-name providers that are happy to work with casinos that hold the weak Anjouan-issued “Internet Gaming Licence.” Sweet Bonanza is, therefore, the overall number one slots game, with Games of Olympus in second place, and 3 Hot Chillies: Hold and Spin in third. The other “popular” slots are Ninja Raccoon Frenzy, Safari Wilds, and Gems Gone Wild, none of which are likely to be as familiar to you as the first three were.

Pragmatic Play is also the biggest (only?) provider supplying Slotra Casino with live dealer and live casino games. It’s a high-quality set, though, including the likes of Red Door Roulette, Sweet Bonanza: Candyland, and Lightning Blackjack. Even here, though, Slotra does itself no favours by incorrectly spelling the name of Lightning Blackjack, inserting an unnecessary extra ‘I.’ It’s just another thing that adds to the general feeling that Slotra is shoddy, poorly maintained, and neglected by its operator. Withdrawal Processing and Support

Slotra doesn’t have a banking page, and its terms and conditions page is incomplete. We don’t know how big those fees are, though, and nothing on the entire Slotra website tells us anything about processing times. In summary, you’ll be charged to use your debit card to make withdrawals; there are no other options, and we don’t know how long it will take for your money to turn up.

Customer Support and Licensing

There doesn’t seem to be any customer support at Slotra at all. There isn’t a chat widget, there’s no Contact Us page, and the topic isn’t covered in the FAQ. We’re guessing you can email [email protected], but that’s really just a guess. In the footer of its website, Slotra claims to hold a licence with Curacao eGaming, but the regulator no longer exists. We know that it has a licence in the State of Anjouan – the same licence that covers the Slotra sister sites – but there’s no reference to this on the Slotra website.

Slotra Casino – The Verdict

We’ve developed a theory over the course of writing this review, and the theory goes like this: Slotra launched somewhere around 2021 but ceased to be a going concern before 2023. After being left for dead for a while, the operator revived it in 2024 by adding it to its licence in Anjouan. Therefore, it intends to revive the brand, but it hasn’t done so yet. If we’re right, we have to wonder why the current version of Slotra is still online for us to find. We don’t like slating online casinos unfairly, but this one is an absolute shambles in its current condition.
