The Vic Sister Sites 2024

Rialto Casino

Rialto Casino logo

At the time of writing, Rialto Casino is the newest of The Vic sister sites. That’s not to say that there’s anything all that new about it, though – it’s been the newest casino on the platform for more than two years already. In much the same way that The Vic is the real-world equivalent of The Grosvenor Vic in London, The Rialto is the real-world equivalent of The Grosvenor Rialto. The connections to Grosvenor run thick on this operator’s platform. Given that the Rank Group owns the online and offline versions of the brand, it makes sense to use the link. This is a good-looking casino, and uses an Art Deco style to catch the eyes of potential players. That being said, it’s at the lower end of the slots and casino-focused sites on the network when it comes to overall quality.

Mecca Bingo

You shouldn’t need us to tell you much about Mecca Bingo. If you do, then thank you for finding out website on what we presume to be your first day in the iGaming world. You don’t need to know anything about iGaming to know about Mecca Bingo, though – just head out of your front door and keep walking. You’ll find a Mecca Bingo hall sooner rather than later. This is the UK’s biggest bingo brand, and The Rank Group has the pleasure of owning both the online and offline versions of the brand. It’s the biggest of The Vic sister sites by some considerable distance, which is a statement we don’t make lightly, given that Grosvenor Casino is also on the platform. When you play at Mecca Bingo, expect regular small promotions, a prize wheel of fortune you can spin for free perks every day, and far more than bingo. Bingo is still what it does best, but there are lots of slots here now, too.

Grosvenor Casino

Grosvenor Casino logo

There aren’t quite as many real-world Grosvenor Casino venues in the UK as there are Mecca Bingo venues, but there are still a lot. It’s one of the UK’s most recognisable and trusted casino brands, which makes the official Grosvenor Casino website a go-to destination for British gamblers. It says a lot about the power and profile of the Rank Group that it owns both Mecca Bingo and Grosvenor Casino, and that both are The Vic sister sites. The connection between The Vic and Grosvenor Casino is particularly strong because The Vic is actually a Grosvenor Casino venue – perhaps the country’s most glamorous. However, The Vic’s website is a scaled-down version of what you can find in the equivalent real-world venue, whereas the Grosvenor Casino website attempts to provide players with everything they’d be able to do in a brick-and-mortar Grosvenor venue plus a little more on top. It’s superior to The Vic in every way.

Bella Casino

Bella Casino logo

The big names keep on coming the more you look around the Rank Interactive network. Bella Casino is another one of them. This is the official online casino of Bella Magazine, which you’re far more likely to have heard of if you’re female than male. That’s because it’s one of the few remaining successful glossy magazines aimed at women in the UK. Aside from being yet another household name among The Vic sister sites, Bella Casino is a site that plays with conventions. We’ve become almost conditioned to expect that female-focused iGaming sites will be bingo-based, but there’s plenty of bingo fun to be had elsewhere on this network. Bella Casino is precisely what it claims to be – an online casino. Slots lead the way on the casino’s homepage, and there’s a solid range of promotions here to go with them.

Lucky Pants Bingo

Luckypants Bingo logo

Some of the smaller bingo sites on the Rank Interactive platform have been shut down in recent years. That fate hasn’t yet befallen Lucky Pants Bingo, but we have reservations about how much longer it might remain online. Once upon a time, Lucky Pants Bingo was the mad cousin of The Vic sister sites. It was unashamedly over-the-top when it came to its theme, with underpants everywhere and a loyalty reward scheme that relied upon the awarding of pants rather than points. All of those quirks have been ironed out in recent times, and Lucky Pants is now little more than a generic casino. Note that we used the word “casino.” That’s because slots and casino games come first and foremost among the entertainment that Lucky Pants offers. The bingo games are still there, but you have to select the “bingo” option on the top menu to get them. Bingo has become an afterthought here, as has the site’s sense of personality.

The Vic Review 2024

Of all the casinos on the Rank Group’s platform, The Vic is the strangest. There are giants on this network, including the online versions of both Grosvenor Casino and Mecca Bingo, but The Vic doesn’t measure up. That’s despite the fact that it’s also the online version of a famous casino – The Grosvenor Victoria in London, to be specific. However, the website of The Vic comes across more of an advert for the real casino with a few games attached to it rather than a “real” online casino. It’s limited, but there are still things here to enjoy.

The Vic sister sites homepage

The Vic Welcome Offer

A series of three matched deposits awaits new players at The Vic. First, players can claim a one hundred per cent matched first deposit up to a maximum of £100, along with twenty free spins on one of the casino’s most highly-rated slots. Second deposits attract a fifty per cent match up to £50 with another thirty free spins thrown in, and third deposits get matched at 25% up to £50 again, with fifty free spins thrown in to round things off. That’s a total of £200 in matched deposit bonus cash and one hundred free spins, with an x35 wagering requirement for winnings from the free spins, but a stickier x50 wagering requirement for the bonus cash. Bonus conversion is capped at x5 in any event.

Ongoing Promotions

Additional promotions at The Vic come and go, but Ruby Rewards are permanent. With this reward scheme, players can claim a weekly cashback allowance of up to £100 on their losses, plus guaranteed daily deposit bonuses. The value of those deposit bonuses will literally change from day to day. The Vic also offers daily instant cash drops, a wheel that can be spun once per day by every player that dispenses free spins and cash prizes, and free spins offers every Monday. Some of the promotions advertised on the website can be claimed in person at The Vic in London, but that’s only likely to be useful if you live close to the venue.

What are the Pros and Cons of The Vic?

Pros: There’s a touch of glamour that comes with playing at The Vic. The real-world venue that it’s connected to is one of the UK’s most prestigious in-person gambling venues. Ongoing cashback is never a bad thing if your luck isn’t in, and daily free gifts are always appreciated, too. In addition, the casino ticks all the boxes when it comes to customer support.

Cons: The average wagering requirement for sign-up offers in the UK is x35. At The Vic, it’s x50. That’s too high, and there’s no good reason for it. It’s doubly frustrating because we know that the operator can do so much better, because it imposes lower requirements at so many of its other casinos across the network. Based on Trustpilot feedback, players at The Vic haven’t been having the best of times recently.

Top Games at The Vic

As we’ve said already, the idea behind The Vic is to give you an idea of what going to the real venue in London would feel like. If you’re looking for an online version of a Grosvenor Casinos venue, you’d be better off with the Grosvenor Casino website. There are games available here, but they’re a reduced selection and don’t do a great deal of justice to the brand. Live casino games are available, but none of them appear to be exclusive to the website, which is both a surprise and a disappointment. As such, slots automatically become the stars of the show.

The slots that appear in the top row on the homepage of The Vic are some of the biggest and most successful of all time. We’re talking about the likes of Fluffy Favourites, Starburst, and Big Bass Bonanza, which are guaranteed to be in the spotlight at almost any online casino that hosts them. However, the presence of The Goonies: Hey You Guys, which is a far more recent slots game, suggests that The Vic at least attempts to liven things up with new arrivals every now and then.

Withdrawal Processing and Support

We’re pleased to see that there’s been progress at The Vic since we last reviewed it. When we came to it in 2023 to write a review, all the links to its payment information screen were broken. That’s been fixed, and we can now happily confirm that it operates according to the same standards as its sister sites. That means 15-minute withdrawals are the standard for Apple Pay, Mastercard and Visa Debit, Paysafe Cards and PayPal. If you have an older debit card or want to use a bank transfer instead, your wait time is likely to be closer to three business days. That’s a good reason to go for PayPal instead.

Customer Support and Licensing

The fastest and easiest way to get in touch with the support team at The Vic is to call 0800 086 8457. If you’re someone who doesn’t like to use the phone, you could instead use live chat or email [email protected]. The casino is listed on UK Gambling Commission licence 57924, which is held with the UKGC by Rank Interactive (Gibraltar) Limited. The same licence covers all The Vic sister sites.

The Vic – The Verdict

The Vic isn’t Rank Interactive at its best. The promotions are better than they have any right to be for a casino of this size, , but it’s hard to shake off the feeling that we’re looking at a showcase for a real-world casino than we are at an online casino. Perhaps it’s that way by design, but we’re struggling to come up with a good reason why a player, given the choice of playing here or Grosvenor Casino, would opt for The Vic. We don’t think they would, and that’s why we have to say that The Vic isn’t on the same level. It’s perfectly fine, but it doesn’t seem to be totally committed to the idea of being an iGaming site.

What are players saying about The Vic?

Here are our condensed / reader’s digest summaries of recent player reviews of The Vic.

  • 24-May-2024 by Rob:
Not sure about all the negative comments. This casino has top games, big jackpots, and fast withdrawals. I haven’t had any issues so far. I made a withdrawal request and got it about half an hour later. Thumbs up from me. – source: Trustpilot
  • 05-May-2024 by Ian:
Zero stars. If you withdraw funds, you won’t get any bonuses until you make a deposit that covers the amount you withdrew. Talking to customer services is impossible. My advice is to avoid joining – source: Trustpilot
  • 12-Apr-2024 by Brad:
If I could give zero stars, I would. I spent 10k on £20 spins and only got 4 bonuses, with the highest being £357. It’s a rip-off. Contacting support is impossible; I waited 5 hours when it said 15 minutes. Another bad experience with £5 spins; I spent 3k and got only 5 bonuses, with the highest being £148. Worst site ever. – source: Trustpilot
  • 21-Mar-2024 by Elyas:
Scam sites like this should be banned. Why are sites like this allowed in the UK? I spent £60 on low stakes and got no wins. The Gambling Commission should ban scam sites instead of feature buys and auto spin. This site was recommended by, but I won’t be following them anymore. – source: Trustpilot
  • 13-Mar-2024 by Violeta:
I’ve been trying to speak to someone about my account being blocked for deposits for 3 months. They are unprofessional and useless, always lying that they will contact me in 2 hours. This is a scam. Spend your money on other legal casinos. The Vic is a shame for the industry. – source: Trustpilot
  • 13-Mar-2024 by Steph:
Money-draining scam. Never any features, and if you get one, it pays very low every time. The games don’t pay according to the advertised RTP. Fake. I will close my account. I’ve been a member for a year and never had a withdrawal. – source: Trustpilot
  • 15-Dec-2023 by Baz:
Avoid and report this casino. I’ve been gambling for a long time and never seen a site like this. I’d deposit £30, place one £15 bet, and it would tell me I had insufficient funds. Complete scam. – source: Trustpilot
  • 01-Dec-2023 by David:
Deposited £20, which it took, but now it won’t let me log in. – source: Trustpilot
  • 01-Nov-2023 by Rachel:
I’ve spent around £1200 over a month and never received a single bonus. Every game seems worse than on other casinos. I don’t mind losing a few thousand, but winning isn’t possible here. Avoid them. – source: Trustpilot
  • 08-Oct-2023 by Milan:
I contacted The Vic about an issue with my account, and they still haven’t responded after a week. Very bad customer support. I am very disappointed. – source: Trustpilot
