W88 Sister Sites 2024

We used to have several W88 sister sites to show you. If you’ve visited this page before, you might well be wondering where they’ve all gone. The answer is that they’re now right at the bottom of this page, and the reason that they’re at the bottom of this page is that they’ve all closed down with the exception of one. The closure of so many casinos and betting sites in such a short space of time gives the impression of Midnight Gaming Limited being an operator in decline, but it’s still getting by just fine with the sites that it still operates. You know about W88 already, so let’s look at the one remaining W88 sister site.

Gameplay Interactive

Gameplayint Logo

Gameplay Interactive represents the absolute nadir of Midnight Gaming Limited when it comes to creativity – which makes it all the sadder that this is the only one of the W88 sister sites still in operation. It’s so uninteresting a site that it doesn’t even have a logo – we’ve had to acquire the logo you see above from elsewhere in the Midnight Gaming brand. Even its URL is strange – it’s gameplayint.co.uk, which isn’t the full name of the site. Only through scrolling down to the footer of the website and seeing the information there do we learn that this website is called Gameplay Interactive. Another unusual thing about this site is that it doesn’t have a landing page. Visitors to the site are taken straight to a dull, grey sports betting page, presented without any flair, distinctiveness, or incentives to use it. To add to the sense of tedium, Gameplay Interactive offers the same limited range of casino games that you’ll find at W88. Based on the low quality of entertainment available here, our advice to anybody considering playing at the W88 sister sites (or ‘site’) is “don’t.”

W88 Casino Review 2024

It takes a big, successful casino company to sponsor the shirt of an English Premier League football team. Those sponsorships are among the most expensive of their kind in the world, so only a casino network company with deep pockets could afford to buy them. W88 is the official sponsor of Burnley FC. The casino’s logo appears on the team’s home, away, and third shirts. Based on that, you’d expect W88 to be a top-of-the-line, first-class casino. Based on the sporting connection, you’d also probably expect to find a substantial sportsbook at the site, too. How do those expectations match up with the reality of W88? Read this review and find out.

W88 sister sites homepage

W88 Welcome Bonuses

This is going to be a very brief section of the review. W88 does not offer any welcome bonuses whatsoever. This isn’t a casino that believes in rolling out the red carpet to its potential customers. It’s an unusual approach for a casino that enjoys such high visibility thanks to its prominent football sponsorship deal, but it’s the decision that its parent company has made. The lack of a welcome gift, perk, promotion or anything else to invite new players to come and join W88 isn’t a uniquely W88 problem, though – none of the W88 sister sites have welcome offers either. It’s just not something that the Midnight Gaming Limited group does. However, we know that they used to offer welcome promotions in the past, and that leaves us wondering what’s changed. We’re afraid that we don’t have a satisfactory answer to that question.

Ongoing Offers

If we were trying to spin the availability of promotions at W88 in a positive light, we’d say that their approach is very consistent. By that, we mean that the status of ongoing promotions at W88 is the same as the status of welcome promotions – there aren’t any. If you’re looking for a VIP incentive scheme at W88, your search is destined to end in disappointment. If you want the occasional matched deposit bonus or a few free spins here and there to use in the casino section of the site, you’ll have to go on wanting. W88 is the most basic no-frills casino you’re ever likely to see, and it offers no promotions of any kind. Again, though, this is something that it has in common with the W88 sister sites – none of them feature any promotions either. As with the welcome offers, we know that this is a change that’s been made semi-recently at W88. There were promotions, bonuses, and incentives available at this casino once, and we’re left wondering what happened to them.

Top Games at W88

At this stage of review, we’re forced to note that W88 Casino seems semi-determined not to be a casino at all. Any modern-day casino worthy of note offers at least something in the way of promotions, but this one doesn’t. Failing that, even the most basic of online casinos will have a collection of games that runs into treble figures. Again, W88 doesn’t. The collection of games at W88 is the same as the collection of games at the W88 sister sites – and it’s quite a miserable-looking set drawn from lesser-known providers.

The most baffling thing about W88 is the lack of a sportsbook. Internationally, W88 is known as a sports betting brand. In the UK, it’s best-known as the sponsor of Burnley. That makes it all the more bizarre that sports betting is no longer available to UK-based players on the W88 website. Like the promotions, W88 used to offer sports betting, but no longer does. Instead, all that’s left for UK-based players is a meagre selection of slots. Here are the picks of the sorry collection.

We begin with the whimsical world of Blirix Workshop, an alchemy-themed slot by Iron Dog that mixes a charming aesthetic with a high-volatility mathematical model. With 5 reels and 20 ways to win, this game can conjure a spellbinding experience with its Book of Spells feature, which can trigger wilds, multipliers, and symbol transformations. The free spins round brings the excitement, releasing collected symbols every 5th spin, potentially modified by extra spell modifiers for increased wins. The RTP stands at a solid 96.1%, and while the game promises a high volatility ride, the maximum win of 7,000x your stake in the bonus round is the true alchemical gold players will be seeking. However, it’s worth noting that the base game can be as unpredictable as a potion experiment, with modifiers that sometimes don’t translate to tangible benefits, adding to the game’s challenge.

W88 Banner

With Reel Fruits! by 1X2gaming, players are treated to a lounge-style slot experience that’s as refreshing as a cool drink on a summer’s day. This game offers a classic 5×3 reel setup with 10 paylines, where stakes range from £0.10 to £50, allowing for wins over 100 times your stake. The RTP stands at a solid 96%, and with low volatility, it’s a game that promises frequent, though smaller wins, making it ideal for a relaxed session without too much risk. The design harks back to the traditional fruit machines, with familiar symbols like cherries and lemons, but don’t be fooled – this is no ordinary fruit salad. The maximum win of x5000 your stake is a juicy prospect for any player. So, while Reel Fruits won’t count towards your five-a-day, it might still bring some benefits if you’re lucky.

Iron Dog Studio’s online slot, Boom Time, delivers an exhilarating heist theme where players can indulge in a stylish escapade to break into a safe brimming with gold bars. With a unique 3-5-5-5-3 reel setup and 1,125 betways, the game breaks away from traditional slot designs. The medium-high volatility of the game promises a thrilling chase with the potential to win up to 9,689 times your stake. Betting options are inclusive, ranging from a modest £0.10 to a daring £50 per spin. The RTP varies, potentially reaching up to 96%, offering a fair return to players over time. The game’s features, including Tumbles, Sticky Wilds, and a Free Spins feature enriched with Enhanced Wilds and a Boom Time counter, ensure a dynamic and engaging experience. Although the volatility might pose a challenge at times, the game’s solid audiovisuals and the chance to purchase free spins directly add to the allure of this heist-themed adventure.

Payment Methods

W88 stays true to form when it comes to deposit and withdrawal methods. Having given you very few casino games to play, it also gives you very few ways to pay for those games and almost no information on how the deposit and withdrawal process actually works. The full terms and conditions of the site don’t say anything about deposit or withdrawal methods, so all we have to go on is the presence of the Skrill and Neteller logos in the footer of the site. Based on that, we assume that the two e-wallets are the only accepted payment methods at W88. Nowhere on the W88 website does it say anything about withdrawal processing times. E-wallets should be quick and can be instant with some casinos, but we have no idea whatsoever where W88 ranks in this regard.

Customer Services

If you encounter a problem at W88, you might want to log off and go and do something else for a while. There is no telephone number or live chat facility at this casino site. Your only option is to email the site, and in doing so, you’re warned that customer services aim to respond to queries within 48 hours. This is desperately poor, but it’s the standard across the W88 sister sites. Even the FAQ section won’t be of any use to you, as it answers only two questions; “Who is W88” and “What does Play for Real mean.” Based on that, we get the feeling that whoever designed the W88 website doesn’t know what “FAQ” stands for.

W88 – The Verdict

There isn’t much to like about W88. It stands as one of the final remaining lights on what appears to be a dying casino platform, and we can only assume that the money it used to pay for its Premier League shirt sponsorship deal was generated by its international endeavours rather than anything to do with its extremely limited UK presence. The fact that it doesn’t offer sports betting is utterly baffling, and with no promotions or perks, there’s nothing here to hold the attention of most players. With so many great online casinos out there, there’s no reason to play at this one. It’s a dud.

W88 Sportsbook & Casino Sponsorship Information

At the start of 2022, W88 were the proud sponsors of two football teams; Crystal Palace FC and Leicester City FC. The online sports publication, Football London recently speculated on the longevity of their sponsorship of Crystal Palace due to the changing legislation around gambling and sponsorship deals. From 2023 onwards, the football club could be barred from featuring W88’s name on their shirts – yet, they aren’t the only football club under growing pressure to cut ties with gambling firms. Crystal Palace originally partnered with W88 in 2020, replacing ManBetX in the process. The cost of the deal has not been publicly reported, but it is rumoured to be higher than the £6.5 million a year deal with ManBetX.

In September 2020, it was reported that Leicester City Football Club renewed their sponsorship deal with the online gambling leader, after signing the original contract in 2018 and becoming their official betting partner. Part of the sponsorship deal included creating unique content for casino fans and football club fans alike.

During the 2019 – 2020 season, W88 was the official gambling sponsor of The Aston Villa Club. As part of the contract, W88’s logo appeared on all of the home & away shirts, plus all of the training ware. For Aston Villa, it was a record-breaking sponsorship deal, and the sportsbook was also gratified to sponsor a team that has been consistently impressive for the past 140 years. W88 was keen to work its way into the culture of the club by engaging with fans and club management reps alike.

W88 Sponsorships

W88 Casino & Sportsbook Adverts

W88 is constantly uploading new video content – especially in relation to their sponsored teams. In 2020, they took their responsibility of sponsoring the Wolverhampton team seriously by creating a high-impact video ad campaign that aired on the big screen at the stadium before the first kick-off. The intention behind the ad which uses the goal footage from the team captain, Conor Coady, was to create a connection between the club fans and the W88 casino and sportsbook.

In February 2022, following a vote on the Crystal Palace player of the month, they released a video to celebrate the winner. The honour went to Michael Olise, and you can watch all of the moments that led up to his victory in the video which is still available on YouTube.

Affiliates Program

With the W88 Affiliate program, there is massive potential for earnings with zero investment. There is a flat commission rate of 40%, plus additional tier benefits for exceptionally successful affiliates. Additionally, affiliates will earn income for as long as their referred players continue gaming. Affiliates can either choose to promote one aspect of the casino or all of the sportsbook, lottery, poker and online slot game products. New affiliates can register on mobile in three easy steps and start earning immediately. To keep the revenue rolling, affiliates must have at least five minimum monthly players. However, there is no negative carryover if the number falls below 5.

Casino Theme & Layout

W88 gets plenty of things right when it comes to the sportsbook; everything is sleek, modern and accessible, but when it comes to the casino side of the site, everything gets a little lacklustre. It almost feels as though the slots have been tacked on as an afterthought. On the desktop version of the casino, all of the slots are lumped together in one category, which will undoubtedly make it hard for players to find an online slot that suits their style – there isn’t even a category for new games, popular games, or jackpot games. The only way to filter the games is through the search bar, which isn’t much help if you don’t know what you are looking for.

Inactive W88 Sister Sites

BR88 Casino

BR88 Casino logo

BR88 is a strange site, and we’re not just talking about its name. All of the W88 sister sites – with the exception of the flagship site – have very unusual names. There are two things that stick out about BR88. The first is that it appears to be a virtual clone of W88. The second is that it doesn’t really work properly. There should be a splash logo on the BR88 homepage, but it doesn’t load. There are no games listed on the homepage of the site at all. It’s only when you select either “sports” or “casino” that you’ll see a list of betting options, and what you’ll find in the casino is incredibly limited, to say the least. It’s not often we come across an online casino that has virtually nothing to recommend about it, but in the case of BR88, we fear that it’s finally happened. It looks more like a mirror backup of W88 than a standalone casino site, and the fact that such important parts of it don’t work suggests that it may be in the process of being wound down.

Play 3 Niu

Play 3 Niu logo

It only takes a momentary glance to see that Play 3 Niu – another Midnight Gaming Limited company with a very unusual name – uses the same template as both W88 and BR88. All of the W88 sister sites have been built according to the same basic design and use the same layout. The only real difference between Play 3 Niu and BR88 is that the colour scheme is pink, and the splash graphic on the homepage works. When it loads, you’ll see that the most recent development at Play3 Niu is that the casino has become the official betting partner of Aston Villa FC in the English Premier League. Even that information is out of date, though, as the promotional text clearly states that the deal commenced at the beginning of the 2019/2020 season. That’s now three years ago. The sportsbook is the main attraction at Play 3 Niu, but it comes with a limited side serving of 48 online slots. Again, there isn’t much to recommend this casino by.

Midnight Gaming

Midnight Gaming Limited logo 1

Midnight Gaming is the flagship online casino of Midnight Gaming Limited and is the only one of the W88 sister sites to carry a conventional, easy-to-remember name. Having a memorable name is important for online casinos, so the decisions that have been made with the other casinos in the range are bizarre. Other than the name, though, this is yet another iteration of the same website. The sportsbook, its colour scheme, and the betting options on it are identical to W88. The casino games available away from the sports betting action are exactly the same as the ones you’ll find at W88. The only detectable difference between the sites is that Midnight Gaming doesn’t force players to click their way past a landing page before they see the sportsbook, so we suppose if we were feeling generous, we could describe it as a more user-friendly site. We’d normally expect to see a casino network company put a little more time and effort into making its flagship brand stand out, but Midnight Gaming is just more of the same.
