Wagered Casino Sister Sites 2024
Costa Rica has spent the past couple of years becoming a new global hotbed for international casino brands, and Wagered Casino has been part of that movement. Thus far, though, it’s a standalone brand – the only one to operate under the Sensor Pioneering Limitada umbrella. While it’s based in Costa Rica, the only iGaming licence that the company holds comes from Anjouan, and isn’t the strongest or most respected licence in the world. Will the operator build from these humble beginnings and give us any Wagered Casino sister sites in years to come? That’s for them to know and us to find out, but we’ll keep our eyes on the situation. If Sensor Pioneering produces any Wagered Casino sister sites in the future, this is where you’ll find them. For now, here’s a comprehensive review of the casino and its proposition.

Wagered Casino Review 2024
We feel like “Wager Casino” would have been a better name than “Wagered Casino.” The former suggests it’s a place for betting, whereas the latter – the name the casino has actually gone with – suggests you’re already spent up. In any event, Wagered Casino is a crypto-friendly casino that uses a cute bulldog mascot to draw people in. Don’t go thinking the bulldog means it’s OK for players from Britain to play here, though – the casino might let you in, but the law says that it shouldn’t. Cryptocurrency casinos are ten a penny these days, but is Wagered Casino more likely than the rest to let you win a few pounds? Let’s find out.
Wagered Casino Welcome Offers
You won’t miss the welcome bonus on the Wagered Casino homepage – it’s the first thing you’ll see, thanks to its very visible banner at the top of the page. The terms of the bonus look pretty clear – a 100% matched deposit with a maximum value of £1000 and fifty free spins. Happily, it’s exactly as simple as it looks. Unhappily, the associated terms and conditions aren’t the best. You’ll have to deal with a weighty x45 wagering requirement before you can withdraw anything, and winnings from the bonus are capped at £5000. A minimum deposit of £20 is required in order to trigger the bonus.
Ongoing Promotions
Wagered Casino is a bit of a mixed bag when it comes to ongoing promotions. It’s not that the casino doesn’t have ongoing promotions to offer – it has plenty – but most of them are single-use. The offer of one hundred free spins in return for a deposit of £100, for example, can only be used once. There aren’t any wagering requirements attached to the offer, which gets a thumbs up from us, and winnings are capped at £500. That’s a decent bonus, and we’d ideally like more of it.
If you’re unwilling or unable to part with £100 in one go, you could instead claim fifty free spins for a smaller deposit of £30. Again, there’s no wagering required, but spins are capped at a maximum value of 20p each, and winnings are capped at £150. It’s another good offer, but it’s another that’s single-use only. Sports betting is also available at Wagered Casino, but the only sports betting promotion on the table is a free £10 bet in return for a deposit of £30. There are no restrictions on the free bet other than winnings are capped at £60.
Wagered Casino VIP Tier System
This is where Wagered Casino starts to lose us a bit. There’s an eleven-tier VIP reward system at the casino, with ranking determined by XP points. Players get three XP points for every £1 wagered, and you need 900 XP to reach level two (Bronze). There aren’t any rewards until you reach level four (Gold), though, which requires 30,000 points. Even then, you’re only getting 0.1% rakeback as a reward and 0.05 Wagered Casino shop points (we’ll come to that in a second) for every £1 spent. Rakeback is weak even at the top level (Legend) – you need 75,000,000 points to get there, and you’re still only getting 0.5%.
We might be able to forgive Wagered Casino for its rakeback offer being so weak if the rewards we could get with our shop points were any good. Unfortunately, the shop doesn’t seem to work at all – there’s a link to a page for it on the casino’s website, but the page is blank. The same problem occurs when you try to access the PVP page. Either the casino has withdrawn these rewards, or they aren’t available yet – we’re not sure which – but the VIP scheme isn’t really worth much without them.
What are the Pros and Cons of Wagered Casino?
Pros: The casino’s one-off promotions – welcome bonus aside – are pretty good. There are no wagering requirements attached to the free spins bonuses, the winnings limit is fair, and the cost of acquisition is OK. The casino seems well-served by decent providers of slots and games.
Cons: While the welcome bonus is big, the high wagering requirements take a lot of the fun out of the equation. The VIP system is mostly worthless – not least because the shop system that’s supposed to be at the core of it either isn’t available or doesn’t work. There’s no reliable information anywhere on the Wagered Casino website about withdrawals, and its licence is weak.
Top Games at Wagered Casino
The casino doesn’t list or otherwise feature any of its games on its homepage. We don’t understand that approach, and it leaves us tempted to say that there aren’t any top games at Wagered Casino because the casino doesn’t give any of its slots “top game” treatment. We’re not that petty, though – we opened the “All Slots” selection, and we can confirm that the most popular slots games here are Sweet Bonanza 1000, Wanted: Dead or a Wild, Zeus vs Hades: Gods of War, Gods of Olympus, Le Bandit, and Fire Portals. In general, Pragmatic Play and Hacksaw Gaming do most of the heavy lifting in the casino’s slot game selection.
Wagered Casino also offers sports betting, and it does so in impressive detail. The sportsbook at this casino covers more than sixty separate sports, with an average of over 370,000 events covered every month. Live casino games mostly come from Evolution Gaming (Crazy Time, Golden Wealth Baccarat, Monopoly Live and so on) or Pragmatic Play Live (Roulette Azure, Mega Roulette, Sweet Bonanza Candyland Live and more). However, there aren’t any crash games here. Given how popular that genre has become, it’s surprising to see that Wagered Casino is behind the times on that front.
Withdrawal Processing and Support
If it weren’t for the casino’s terms and conditions, we’d believe Wagered Casino was a crypto-only site. The logos of Bitcoin, Dogecoin, Ethereum and other crypto coins appear in the footer of the casino’s website without any traditional provider logos to go with them, so it would be a fair assumption to make. However, the terms and conditions make references to returning funds to the debit card or e-wallet that they came from, so we’re confused. To make matters worse, there’s no information available anywhere about processing times.
Customer Support and Licensing
There is no longer any acceptable excuse for an online casino failing to provide live customer support, so we were very disappointed to note that Wagered Casino doesn’t do so. Instead, it asks players in need of support to raise a ticket and says nothing about response times other than saying that someone will answer you “shortly,” which could mean anything. The casino is covered by the Internet Gaming Licence that its operator holds in Anjouan. The licence would automatically apply to any Wagered Casino sister sites that might appear in the future, but it isn’t considered valid in the UK or most other regulated territories. If the casino accepts UK-based players, it does so illegally.
Wagered Casino – The Verdict
For a cryptocurrency casino to be a success, it needs to offer players every mod-con possible. The terms and conditions of Wagered Casino are so imprecise that we’re not even totally sure whether or not it really is a cryptocurrency casino, but if it is, it falls well short of the mark. Its total lack of live customer support isn’t good enough, its failure to provide guidance for banking is probably a worse offence, and the VIP rewards that it offers are virtually worthless compared to the amount you’d have to spend to get them. Wagered Casino is a long way off the quality of the top names out there on the international iGaming scene.
