We Want Bingo Sister Sites

The We Want Bingo sister sites belong to Broadway Gaming Ireland DF, which is the largest casino network company by volume currently serving the UK. We say “by volume” because while there are over two hundred bingo or casino sites on this platform, very few of them are household names. You can visit our dedicated Broadway Gaming Ireland page to see a complete list of the We Want Bingo sister sites, but the best of them are below.

Costa Bingo

Costa Bingo logo

If you’ve been around the iGaming world for a while, you might think you’ve seen Costa Bingo somewhere before, and you’d be right. It’s not as famous as it used to be, but Costa Bingo is a brand that was once advertised on British television – by a Spice Girl, no less. Mel B was the face of the brand for a year or two, and Costa Bingo was one of the UK’s most popular online bingo brands. Those days are long gone. Since moving from 888 UK Limited to Broadway Gaming, Costa Bingo has become just another member of the We Want Bingo sister sites family, and a decidedly dated one at that. The site’s style of presentation is badly behind the times, and its promotions could use a revamp. You’ll find that the homepage of Costa Bingo proudly advertises its 900,000 players, but we wonder how many of them are still active?

Wicked Jackpots

Wicked Jackpots logo

The story of Wicked Jackpots isn’t entirely dissimilar to the story of Costa Bingo. The brand was a fairly big deal back when 888 was at the helm. Since the Broadway buy-out and the makeover that came with it, Wicked Jackpots is just another face on the roster, no different from at least ten other slots-focused casinos among the We Want Bingo sister sites. That doesn’t make it a bad casino site, though. There’s still a relatively generous free spins promotion to be had if it’s your first time at the casino, and other perks to be had every day you log in. We also think that the Wicked Jackpots homepage under-sells its portfolio of games a little – it claims to have over five hundred different slots games available, but we’d estimate the true number to be closer to one thousand.

Moon Bingo

Moon Bingo logo

We’re only three sites into this list of We Want Bingo sister sites, but you can already see that there are some heavy hitters on this platform – far bigger names than We Want Bingo itself. Moon Bingo is another name that belongs in the “famous” category. It’s been advertised on television in the past, and remains very popular with players today. The estimated player count at Moon Bingo is in excess of six hundred thousand, although it isn’t clear how many of those players log into the site regularly. With well over a decade of experience, Moon Bingo claims to have paid out more than half a billion pounds in prize money. We have no reason to doubt that figure. It still pays out more than one hundred thousand pounds every week, so while we can’t guarantee that you’ll be lucky, we can at least guarantee that Moon Bingo is a site that pays winners.

Robin Hood Bingo

Robinhood Bingo logo

What’s happened to Robin Hood Bingo in the past few years has been disappointing to watch. Back when this was an 888 UK Limited site (yes, we know we keep banging on about that), it was an exciting, entertaining bingo brand with a cute Robin Hood theme. Since being acquired by Broadway Gaming Ireland, Robin Hood Bingo has kept the name but dispensed with the theme. There’s barely even a trace of the old outlaw theme left at the site, which comes across as generic. Not only has it done away with Robin Hood, but it’s also more or less done away with bingo. There are far more slots and casino games advertised on the Robin Hood Bingo homepage than there are bingo games, so not a single aspect of the site’s name is accurate. It simply isn’t what it used to be, and that’s a shame.

City Bingo

City Bingo logo

City Bingo is one of the oldest of the old-school We Want Bingo sister sites. Some of the bingo sites on this platform have been around for a lot longer than others, and City Bingo is closing in on twenty years of active service. It’s one of the most basic bingo options on this network in terms of how it’s presented and what it offers, but it’s not without its charm. The “play bingo around the world” theme has proven to be popular with players, and makes for entertaining scenery in the backdrop of the homepage. Unfortunately, as an old-school site, the bonuses that it offers are a little underwhelming. So is the range of bingo rooms that it offers. Don’t come to City Bingo if you’re looking for modern features or a wealth of options; come if you’re looking for a reminder of how online bingo used to be.

We Want Bingo Review 2024

We Want Bingo has been around since 2011. That’s well over a decade ago now, so it’s a bingo brand with staying power. Unfortunately, it no longer has much bingo. One of the consequences of the brand’s move from 888 UK Limited to Broadway Gaming in 2022 was a repackaging of the site with a new template and logo, but the loss of all its existing games. Shorn of its original portfolio and identity, is there anything left at We Want Bingo to recommend? Let’s see.

We Want Bingo sister sites homepage

We Want Bingo Welcome Offer

The woman who appears on the homepage of We Want Bingo is literally shouting about the welcome promotion, so you won’t miss it. However, the way it’s presented is a little misleading. The headline says that new players can deposit £10 or more to play with £25 and get fifty bonus spins as part of the bargain. A closer inspection of the terms reveals that this is actually a 150% bingo bonus with a maximum value of £50 rather than £25, so the headline under-sells it.

Quite why We Want Bingo wouldn’t lead with the higher (and, therefore, more attractive) figure is unknown, but that’s the way it’s gone. The wagering requirement attached to the bonus money is x4 if it’s used on bingo games but x35 if used on slots. That same requirement applies to anything won from free spins, and the maximum conversion from the bonus is £100 plus the original bonus amount.

Ongoing Promotions

Quite a lot of the Broadway Gaming Ireland sites look and feel the same because of the one-size-fits-all template that was applied to them after the operator took possession of the sites in 2022. That’s not a great thing if you’re looking for variety, and it’s also not a great thing if you’re looking for bonuses. We Want Bingo doesn’t have any bonuses on the table save for its welcome promotion, and lots of the We Want Bingo sister sites are in the same boat.

Pros and Cons of We Want Bingo

Pros: The welcome promotion at We Want Bingo isn’t too bad. It’s not going to change your life, but it gives a decent boost to your first deposit, and the terms attached to it are reasonable – especially if you’re playing bingo rather than slots. Having telephone assistance available is always appreciated from a customer service point of view.

Cons: Considering that this is supposed to be a bingo site, there really aren’t that many bingo games or rooms available. There’s far more choice available for slots fans than bingo fans, which makes a nonsense of the site’s name. You may want bingo, but you won’t find much of it here. In addition, the lack of ongoing promotions or perks means that there’s nothing to encourage player loyalty. The fact that withdrawals from the site are so slow is the final nail in its coffin in terms of it being a desirable place to play.

Top Games at We Want Bingo

We’ve discussed this above, but when players come to a site called “We Want Bingo,” it’s not unreasonable for them to expect bingo. Because of that, we find it hard to fathom why there are only two bingo options on the site’s homepage – “1p Bingo Games” and “Live Bingo Rooms.” We appreciate that there are multiple options for each category behind the thumbnails but given that 1p bingo games are minority interest rooms, the lack of range and depth is shocking.

There’s far more choice at We Want Bingo when it comes to slots, with a stash of top names from world-class providers and new arrivals added to the portfolio each week. The site says that it has around five hundred slots to choose from, but we think the real number might be close to double that. The most popular slots at We Want Bingo are the classics, so expect to see the likes of Shaman’s Dream, Stampede and Big Bass Bonanza close to the top of the list of features slots on the homepage.

Withdrawal Processing and Support

Here’s another bone of contention. We Want Bingo makes banking information much too difficult to find. There’s no banking page or FAQ – all the information is buried in the casino’s full terms and conditions. When we went looking for the terms, we found out why the site is so keen to hide them – they’re awful. There are three withdrawal options – PayPal, bank transfer, or debit card. Regardless of the method you choose, We Want Bingo will take two entire business days to process your withdrawal request and accept or reject it.

Once accepted, the speed at which you’ll get your money will depend on the chosen method. You’re looking at a further five business days for debit cards, four to seven days for bank transfers, or two to three days for PayPal. That’s a total wait of five business days for a PayPal withdrawal, which ought to be instant or same-day. It’s all much too slow to be considered competitive.

Customer Support and Licensing

It’s a little odd that We Want Bingo doesn’t offer live chat support, which is an expectation of any modern iGaming site. However, it partially makes up for that by offering a telephone assistance service. Players can call the site on 0800 901 2510 any day of the week between 8am and 11pm to get help if they need to. Outside those times (or if you don’t want to use the phone), all you can do is email [email protected]. The site doesn’t tell us how long it might take for someone to reply to your email.

The licence that covers We Want Bingo is held by Broadway Gaming Ireland DF Limited and issued by the UK Gambling Commission under account number 58267. The same licence applies to all of the We Want Bingo sister sites.

We Want Bingo – The Verdict

We Want Bingo might be fun for five minutes. The small but effective welcome promotion might bring you some joy, and the handful of bingo rooms at the site might keep you entertained for a little while. Beyond that, though, the site simply doesn’t give players a good reason to hang around. There are no loyalty rewards or ongoing promotions, very few bingo games, and poor service when it comes to processing withdrawals. With so many better bingo options available to players in the UK, there’s no good reason to put up with the low standards of this one.
