William Hill Vegas Sister Sites

William Hill

Williamhill logo

There are more than one hundred years of history at William Hill. The story of William Hill starts with one man and his bike taking sports bets from local people in his home town and ends with a multi-billion pound global company. Today William Hill belongs to the 888 Group, but the separate casino brands within William Hill retain a degree of independence. The “proper” William Hill site is the largest of them. Founded as a sports betting website, William Hill now takes bets of almost any kind. It will forever be “the horse racing company” to a lot of people, but it’s a modern and dynamic casino site with many sub-categories. We’ll talk about them more in a moment, but if you want to get the full William Hill experience, the main site is the place to go. It isn’t so much one of the William Hill Vegas sister sites as “the” William Hill Vegas sister site.

Mr Green

Mr Green logo

Aside from being owned by the same network company, Mr Green and William Hill Vegas have a lot in common as sister sites. You won’t get the same hint of Vegas glitz at Mr Green that you’ll find at William Hill Vegas, but there’s enough that’s unique about Mr Green to make it look and feel like a separate casino. Mr Green has become a name that UK players trust and feel comfortable with. It’s generally well-reviewed, frequently offers market-leading promotions, and keeps its ear to the ground for new releases, so its many members always have something new to play with. It’s unlikely ever to become as big a deal as William Hill is, but neither will most casinos. Its sportsbook was removed in 2022, but if you’re just looking for casino games, it has as much to offer as the other William Hill Vegas sister sites.

888 Sport

888 Sport logo

888 Sport is the reason that Mr Green lost its sportsbook. When 888 Holdings completed its acquisition of WHG International, it looked over the William Hill Vegas sister sites and decided that it didn’t need so many of them to offer sports betting. William Hill was never going to lose its sportsbook because sports betting is literally the point of the famous brand, and 888 Sport is the tent pole of the entire 888 brand,  so Mr Green took the hit. Was it worth it? That depends on what you think of 888 Sport. It certainly has plenty of fans, and it’s one of the highest-profile sites of its kind available to players in the UK. However, Trustpilot reviews indicate a surprisingly high level of customer unhappiness, and customer support on the 888 Sport website is far harder to obtain than you’d expect from a brand of this magnitude. It’s widely seen as a decent, well-established site that could and should be performing better.

888 Poker

888 Poker logo

888 Poker stands as the few surviving representatives of the 888 lineage within the William Hill Vegas sister sites family, with 888 Casino and 888 Sport as its only true siblings following the sale of its companion sites to Broadway Gaming Limited in 2022. While 888 Bingo and 888 Ladies continue to operate under new ownership, 888 Poker continues to carve out its own space on the 888 UK Limited platform. It may not have the widespread acclaim of giants like Party Poker or PokerStars, yet it offers a solid poker experience. Newcomers are welcomed with a decent bonus and a helpful guide, while the high-calibre mobile app garners praise for its functionality. For the elite players, 888 Poker occasionally rolls out the red carpet, offering invitations to exclusive live events where the stakes are high and the potential winnings even higher, marking 888 Poker as a place where serious players can make their presence felt.

888 Casino

888 Casino logo

888 Casino is the cornerstone of the 888 Group, a pivotal presence that has shaped the very essence of the William Hill Vegas sister sites network. This flagship platform has been a titan in the online gaming world since its inception in 1997, a time when the digital casino landscape was still in its infancy. Pioneering the space, 888 Casino surged ahead, amassing a vast community of players while others were still in the conceptual phase. Today, it’s not just a colossal name in the industry but a rite of passage for any gaming enthusiast yet to experience its offerings. While it’s not a universal favourite—no casino could claim such a title—888 Casino has earned its reputation as a behemoth of the online casino world, and most who venture into its gaming expanse find themselves falling in love with it. For those seeking William Hill Vegas sister sites, 888 Casino represents the best option on the table.

William Hill Vegas Review 2024

William Hill Vegas Screenshot

william hill vegas screenshot 2022

William Hill Vegas is contained entirely within the main William Hill website. That means it shares a lot of branding and design elements even though it has its own dedicated section of the site. That’s a good thing in terms of providing the customer with a consistent experience, but it’s not necessarily a great thing in terms of aesthetics. William Hill is an old brand, but William Hill Vegas isn’t. Nevertheless, there’s an old-world feeling about the William Hill Vegas area of the site. Everything works, but it all looks just a little bit behind the times.

The design of William Hill Vegas is probably best described as “uninspired.” We expect a touch of magic whenever we see the name “Vegas,” and the magic is sadly lacking here. There are no neon lights, fireworks, or anything else that might suggest a Vegas atmosphere. It’s a straight continuation of the William Hill website with a slightly different URL. That being said, it’s functional. The section to the left of the promotional banners covers topics and sub-categories, and the bulk of the page is devoted either to games or to promotions. The promotions will scroll past one at a time on the banner. As for those options on the side, they include slots, jackpots, table games, and live casino features. There’s even a tab on the side for promotions just in case you missed them in the middle of the screen.

If you’re looking for further information or customer assistance, you’ll find links to both in the footer of the site. Banking information is listed under “help,” and customer care is listed under “contact us.” What William Hill Vegas might lack in eye-catching visuals, it makes up for in ease of use. This isn’t a site that’s ever going to bowl you over with good looks, but at least it’s easy to use. That’s more important.

William Hill Vegas Licences

william hill vegas tools and licences

It’s not necessarily true that having a license from a well-respected authority guarantees that a casino website is fair or trustworthy. We know of a few casinos with awful reputations despite having all the right licenses in place. That being said, there’s no such thing as a trustworthy unlicensed casino. Applying for and being granted licenses means a casino has at least met some minimum standards. It also means players have somewhere to go in case they have cause to complain about a casino and feel that their complaint isn’t going to get resolved directly.

William Hill Vegas – through William Hill – has not one but two licenses with the most well-respected authorities in the industry. The first, as we’ve mentioned elsewhere on this page, is the UK Gambling Association. Its current license, registered under number 39225, was issued in 2014. The license is clean, and there’s no record of William Hill Vegas or William Hill being sanctioned or censured by the UKGA under the terms of this license. This license is the most important one that a UK-based casino can have, as it means the casino is under UK jurisdiction and subject to UK laws.

A casino site doesn’t necessarily have to have a second license, but William Hill Vegas has one anyway. Its secondary license is with the Malta Gaming Authority. After the UK Gambling Association, the Malta Gaming Authority is the second most respected regulatory body in Europe. As William Hill Vegas has managed to satisfy the terms of both licensing bodies and “keep its nose clean” in terms of regulatory action, it has to be doing something right.

This casino does not have a license through Antillephone NV, which issues master licenses in Curacao, nor does it have a Curacao license of any kind. We see that as a positive. The reputation of casinos that carry Curacao-based licenses (and regulators in Curacao in general) isn’t good. Holding a license with them can look more like an indicator of shady behaviour than an endorsement of trustworthiness. William Hill Vegas is better for its absence.

William Hill Vegas Payment Methods

william hill vegas payment methods

We’ve mentioned William Hill’s age a couple of times so far – which probably wasn’t kind of us – but being a long-standing brand doesn’t mean that William Hill hasn’t kept up with the times. You can see from the logos listed at the bottom of the William Hill Vegas homepage that you have several options when it comes to either making deposits or making withdrawals. There’s actually an even wider selection than it appears at first because the logos only tell part of the story.

Let’s deal with what’s there in plain sight first. William Hill Vegas will allow you to make deposits into your account using Visa, Mastercard or Paysafe voucher cards. If you’d rather not use a card and prefer electronic payment methods, the two listed options are PayPal or e-wallets held with Skrill. Visit the terms and conditions page, though, and you’ll find that Skrill isn’t actually approved for UK customers. We don’t know why this is, as many UK-based casinos use Skrill without any issues.

There are two payment options available in the UK that aren’t on offer anywhere else in the world. The first is Apple Pay, which is open only to those who use Apple devices. The second is William Hill Cash Direct, which is an in-person service. You can deposit into your William Hill Vegas account or withdraw funds from it by visiting any of the various William Hill shops on the British mainland or in Jersey.

Withdrawals from “Visa Direct” cards should take no more than four hours. If you don’t have Visa Direct, your turnaround time is likely to be between one and three days. PayPal withdrawals are processed within one working day. Apple Pay takes 3-5 working days, so you probably wouldn’t want to use it even if it’s there as an option. Bank transfers are also available if nothing else works for you, and might take up to five working days.

William Hill Vegas Sponsorships

william hill vegas sponsorships

William Hill didn’t get where it is today without promoting itself hard and entering into commercial partnerships. The more high-profile partnerships a casino site has, the more likely its name is to stick around in the public consciousness. Neither William Hill nor William Hill Vegas needs any help in that respect because they’re practically national institutions, but they still participate in sponsorships anyway to make sure they maintain their status.

One of the partnerships you might not know about is the commercial relationship between William Hill Vegas – or, more specifically, William Hill itself – and the Premier League football club Tottenham Hotspur. The William Hill name doesn’t appear on the Spurs home or away shirt, but you’ll find William Hill listed as the “Official Betting Partner” of Tottenham Hotspur on the club’s official website. This relationship began in 2016, but in 2018 it was reported that the deal had been extended with a new “multi-year” relationship. Under the terms of the deal, William Hill branding appears on the club’s social media channels and also on digital advertising boards around Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

William Hill Tottenham Hotspur

Sticking with the theme of football, the most famous cup competition in the UK is the English FA Cup. The Scottish FA Cup isn’t seen as being quite so prestigious, but it’s still a major tournament that’s watched by thousands of people in person and millions more through television. The Scottish FA Cup is currently sponsored by William Hill, so any time fixtures from the tournament are shown on television William Hill gets a namecheck.

Away from football, William Hill is active in the world of darts. Thanks to the PDC and organisations like it, the past few decades have seen darts go from a pub game to a major televised sport that attracts strong television viewing figures and large crowds to tournament finals. The PDC tournament is one of the biggest of them all, and William Hill is its primary sponsor. This is a “full” sponsorship deal, so the PDC World Championship is known as the William Hill World Championship in all press coverage.

William Hill is still best known for its connection to horse racing than it is for any of these other commercial arrangements, but now William Hill Vegas is here and priorities are shifting, that might change.

William Hill Vegas Top Slots

william hill vegas top slots

The top slots at any casino website change based on who’s playing there and what they prefer in terms of genre and theme. What’s featured in the top slots section one month might not be anywhere near it the following month. That’s less likely to happen at William Hill Vegas, though. It only has a limited portfolio of slots, so what’s popular now will likely remain popular until the William Hill Vegas sister sites network gets some new games to work with. Here are a few of the slots that players at William Hill appear to be enjoying right now.

William Hill Hyperstrike: This is a branded version of Gameburger Studios’ Hyperstrike slot, made especially for William Hill Vegas. The slot is presented as if it were a TV game show. If this really was a TV game show, it’s one you’d want to play. When free spins are triggered, you get a spin of the slot’s special bonus wheel, and through that spin, you’ll find out how many spins you’re getting and the multiplier that comes with them. As many as thirty free spins could be available each time it’s triggered, with a multiplier of up to x3. RTP is 96.24%, and volatility is average.

Squealin’ Riches Lock ‘n Win: The biggest trick this Pearfiction slot will play on you is convincing you that it’s simple. Neither the theme nor the graphics are much to look at, but keep an eye on the coins above the 5*4 reel set. The more you see, the higher your multipliers will go. Random “cash symbols” might award you up to x25 your stake on any spin even if you haven’t accumulated multipliers, so there are plenty of ways to land wins in this pig-themed slot. It’s a 94% RTP affair with high volatility.

Dynamite Riches Megaways: Dynamite and mining-themed slots are never likely to go out of fashion. If anything they’ve become more popular since Big Time Gaming released Bonanza, to which this Red Tiger slot owes a lot of its inspiration. The avalanche wins feature of Bonanza is included in the slot. So, of course, is the Megaways system. Four different bonus symbols can be unlocked by collecting wild symbols and once they’ve been unlocked they could randomly trigger at any time, which is an original concept. It’s a highly volatile slot, with RTP set at 95.75%.

William Hill Vegas Free Spins Prize Draw

william hill vegas free spins prize draw

William Hill Vegas has one hundred thousand free spins to give away. The bad news is that you can’t have them all yourself. The good news is that you might be able to bag a good handful of them if you’re lucky. We should warn that this promotion is listed as being due to expire soon as the casino as of the time this review was written, but William Hill Vegas has said that before and then renewed the promotion. Double check that it’s still available upon your arrival at the casino site before you get too excited about the prospect of playing with it.

The terms of this offer are very simple. Players have to make a bet of £1 or more on three specific online slots to get a ticket for the prize draw. So long as they’ve done that, they’ll be included in the draw when it happens. There are over five thousand individual “winning tickets” to be drawn, so from that alone we can see that the heavily-promoted 100,000 free spins are divided into far smaller packages. No single prize is bigger than one hundred free spins, and each player can only win one prize. The offer doesn’t seem as exciting as it initially sounds once you’ve read the fine print, but very few players will turn their noses up at one hundred free spins even if they originally believed that they might be in line for more.

What are players saying about William Hill Vegas?

Here are our condensed / reader’s digest summaries of recent player reviews of William Hill Vegas.

  • 13-Jan-2023 by James and Karen:
I’m here to express my gratitude to William Hill for my surprising win last night, especially at this time of year – I’m over the moon! It was on a slot called W.HILL GOLD. For those considering becoming a customer, it seems people often only leave reviews when there’s a problem, not when they win, which I understand can be annoying. But I must add, the customer service is spot on. You can set limits on your spending, and if you have any questions, I’m more than willing to help out. It’s all straightforward when you sign up, and if you encounter any issues, the support team is there to guide you through everything. They’re still offering daily free spins and more. My partner and I are also enjoying the betting side of things – I prefer slots, but there’s something for everyone, including big wheel games, casino, and bingo with mega deals every day. And I assure you, I’m just a regular person sharing my genuine experience. Cheers to William Hill, and thanks a ton! – source: Trustpilot
  • 04-Nov-2022 by Umer:
What a load of rubbish. I’m baffled as to why they ask for money first and then demand all sorts of documents. The process is utterly distasteful, making customers jump through hoops as if they’re criminals. It’s a disgrace. – source: Trustpilot
  • 20-Sept-2022 by Bob:
Stay well clear of this site. I spent £100 on instapots and only won £1.40. It’s better to keep your money safe from these scammers. – source: Trustpilot
  • 16-Sept-2022 by Lee:
William Hill Vegas is pretty good in my experience. I’ve had quite a few big wins and the games are enjoyable, with my money seeming to last longer than on other apps. However, after a couple of good wins, it’s wise to stop as it can quickly turn into a money pit. Also, I’ve noticed that regular depositors like me never win on the bonus drop, whereas my partner, who doesn’t deposit, wins it every day. – source: Trustpilot
  • 19-Jul-2022 by Mr Stone:
Please avoid William Hill Vegas at all costs. The odds of winning are shocking. I’ve been consistently losing month after month, and despite only playing 10p slots, I’m down over £2000. It’s a life-ruiner, and William Hill knows exactly what’s going on. – source: Trustpilot
  • 07-May-2022 by Jenny:
I’m a fan of the great range of games and super fast withdrawals. The promotions are decent, though I’m not a fan of the Vegas bonus; Jackpot King is better. While I find Ladbrokes fairer, wins here can be substantial. Just be cautious with your stakes, as like most sites, it’s possible to go through many spins without a bonus round. – source: Trustpilot
  • 28-Nov-2021 by James Stevens:
I usually don’t have issues with William Hill Vegas, but their slot ‘Beriched’ is a different story. It’s a real money spinner for them, not the players. Despite features promising big wins, after hundreds of spins and a significant loss, the payouts were minimal. A feature that filled the screen with wilds only yielded a £9.50 win, which was laughably labelled a “big win”. The jackpot remained impossible, and I caution others that the only ones getting “Beriched” are William Hill themselves! – source: Trustpilot
