We’re starting our rundown of the Zecure Gaming casinos for a very important reason – Rizk Casino is the only one of the five casinos in the range that’s available to players in the UK. This casino network company is unusual in that casino network companies tend to either be active n the UK or not. Zecure Gaming has almost entirely withdrawn from the UK and has surrendered its UK licence for all but one of its casinos, and Rizk is the chosen survivor. If you’re reading this in the UK, it means that this is the only Zecure Gaming Ltd casino you can play at. The rest of the sites on the network will prevent you from registering, depositing, or in some cases, even visiting. The UK focus of this site is reflected by the enormous Union Jack that appears on the site’s homepage, but don’t get too distracted by any of the promotions – most of them are not available to UK players. Like its parent company, Rizk Casino feels like it’s only half-heartedly available in this country. The site’s “Wheel of Rizk” can be accessed, though, and a favourable result on that bonus wheel might make a visit to Rizk worthwhile. It’s a good-looking casino with some great graphics and a real sense of style, but it’s unlikely to give you much that you won’t find at another top casino site elsewhere. Still, the sportsbook is worth a look if you ever place wagers on sporting matters.

Guts

Rizk Casino might be the only Zecure Gaming Limited choice available for UK players, but that’s not the case for the rest of Europe. If you asked a casino player on the European mainland what the most popular Zecure Gaming casino site is, we’d be amazed if they didn’t say Guts. This is the company’s flagship brand and has been online since 2013 – although back then, it belonged to a different casino network company. Much like Zecure Gaming itself, Guts was acquired by the enormous Betsson Group. The entire Guts casino website was given a visual and technical overhaul in April 2022, resulting in a new look and a new style of the site ahead of its tenth anniversary. In terms of graphical quality, the makeover has brought Guts to parity with Rizk and the better-looking casinos in the range. Much like Rizk, Guts offers sports betting to go with its portfolio of online slots and live casino games. Unlike Rizk, Guts can’t be played from the UK. This casino site is covered by licences from iGaming authorities in Malta and Sweden, but without that all-important UK licence, it remains off-limits. We don’t want to keep repeating ourselves, so bear in mind that the same applies to the other three Zecure Gaming casinos we’re about to discuss.

Kaboo

Some of the Zecure Gaming Ltd casinos have found their way to Zecure after being acquired by Betsson. Other casinos were already on the Zecure platform when Betsson acquired the company. Kaboo Casino is one of them. Kaboo has been online since 2015, which is the same year Zecure was founded. It’s not quite a launch brand, but it’s close enough. According to the most recent figures available, Kaboo Casino has an overall Return To Player rate of 96.64%. That’s a high figure and, if taken at face value, suggests that Kaboo’s players are getting a fair deal from their chosen casino site. However, not all of the news about Kaboo is plain sailing. We know that Zecure Gaming is capable of processing withdrawals quickly because the company does it at the flagship brands on its network. Perhaps they intend it to become the company’s calling card. Having a strong brand identity can be a good thing, but the downside is that there isn’t much to pick between the casinos from the point of view of players. If you get a similar style at both Thrills and Guts and you’re also faced with a broadly similar set of casino games and promotions, what motivates you to choose one rather than the other? Thrills might look good, but our understanding is that it lacks unique appeal.

GutsXpress

This Guts sister site is a novel concept. It offers many of the same games and features as the regular Guts website, but it’s stripped to the bones. You won’t find any bonuses or incentives at GutsXpress – they would only get in the way. You won’t even find any login screens. There’s no need to register at GutsXpress – you simply deposit, play the games you want to play and then withdraw speedily and leave. No registration means no risk of emails, text messages or other irritating promotions, and fast cashouts mean that players are guaranteed to get their money within three days. That’s not as fast as we’ve seen elsewhere, but it’s certainly not slow. GutsXpress is the only Zecure Gaming Limited casino other than Rizk that can be opened and accessed from the UK, but the list of accepted payment methods makes it clear that the site is inaccessible to UK players. No site that operated without customer ID checks or validation would ever meet the UK Gambling Commission’s requirements, so that’s hardly a surprise. About Zecure Gaming

Finding out Zecure Gaming Limited doesn’t have a website is initially a surprise. We’re accustomed to casino network companies from Curacao operating without a website (or any public profile at all), but when a casino company is based in Malta and holds a licence there, it tends to be a little more visible. However, Zecure Gaming Ltd might have a good excuse for its lack of visibility. Since early 2020 it hasn’t been totally responsible for its own affairs. That was the month that Zecure was acquired by the Swedish iGaming giant Betsson and became part of the enormous Betsson family. The cost of the acquisition, which was declared complete in April 2020, has never been listed, but the deal brought Betsson all assets of Zecure Gaming, including licences, technology, operations and even staff. It was a big deal, but Zecure wasn’t even the primary target of it. The company simply came along with the purchase when Betsson bought Zecure’s former parent company, the Gaming Innovation Group. At the time of the deal, Betsson said they saw the acquisition as a way of expanding its presence in Spain and Croatia – so we guess we now know where two of Zecure’s biggest markets are.

Before all of the 2020 Betsson excitement, Zecure Gaming Limited had spent five years working under the Gaming Innovation Group banner, launching new casino sites at a rate of around one every eighteen months and building up a following. Within a few years of its launch, Zecure followed up its successful applications for iGaming licences in Sweden and Malta by applying for a licence to operate in the UK. The licence was granted, and Zecure started attempting to establish a foothold in the UK almost immediately. Kaboo was the first casino to be made available to UK players, followed in short order by Guts and eventually Rizk Casino. If the Betsson deal had never happened, it’s likely that all of the Zecure Gaming casinos (or all of them apart from GutsXpress at least) would now be available in the UK. However, once the Betsson deal went through, Guts and Kaboo were withdrawn from the UK marketplace. The reasons for that are unknown, but it might be related to Zecure’s new owner not wanting internal competition for its own Uk-facing casino brands.

Based on the most recent reliable figures we can find, the number of people working specifically for Zecure Gaming rather than any other part of the Betsson Group at present is twenty-six. Those twenty-six people helped to bring in just over £11m in revenue during the last financial year. That’s a drop in the ocean compared to how much Betsson makes as a whole, but it still indicates that Zecure is capable of making a contribution and demonstrating itself to be a worthwhile asset. It would likely be an even more worthwhile asset if all of its products and services were still available in the United Kingdom, but that’s outside the company’s control. Rizk is a strong casino, and the company’s non-UK casinos appear to be considered just as strong by the players who have access to them.
