Zodiac Casino Sister Sites

The Zodiac Casino sister sites belong to the Apollo Entertainment platform. It’s a platform full of long-standing casinos that aren’t especially known for their quality, although the fact that they’ve survived for so long suggests that they must be doing at least something right. There are too many of them to feature on this page, so to see a complete list of the Zodiac Casino sister sites, visit our dedicated Apollo Entertainment Limited page. The casinos listed below represent the highlights of the range.

Captain Cooks Casino

Captain Cooks Casino logo

Captain Cooks Casino is often looked at as the flagship of the Apollo Entertainment Limited casino network, which means we have to place it first on our list of Zodiac Casino sister sites. Looking at the site, though, it’s hard to see why. Like nearly all of the casinos on this network, Captain Cooks Casino looks like it was designed by a first-year web design student in 2010 and hasn’t been touched since. Another thing that it has in common with the rest of the Zodiac Casino sister sites is that if you’re using ad-blocking software, you’ll have to turn it off to access the casino. That’s not a confidence builder of a move, as it suggests to visitors that the casino might be doing something untoward before they’ve even had a chance to assess its relative merits. Captain Cooks Casino leads with an offer of one hundred free spins on Microgaming’s legendary Mega Moolah slot for a first-time deposit of £5. The slot is known as “the millionaire maker,” and its current jackpot is displayed on the homepage at all times to motivate players. At the time of our visit, the figure was over £2m.

Luxury Casino

Luxury Casino logo

Visiting Captain Cooks Casino means having to turn off your ad-blocking software. Visiting Luxury Casino means ignoring a full-blown security warning about the casino website’s security certificate. Very few visitors will happily ignore such a warning, but those who do will find that there’s nothing luxurious-looking about Luxury Casino. A grainy black and white GIF of a rotating roulette wheel plays on repeat in the background, and that’s all the homepage of Luxury Casino has to offer in terms of scene and atmosphere setting. The rest of the space on the homepage is given over to the Luxury Casino welcome offer, which we’re told is worth up to £1000 over five deposits if new players are prepared to max out the deposit limit each time. That would involve depositing £2300 to receive the £1000 in bonus funds, which come with a wagering requirement of x200. Yes, you read that correctly. Not only do most of the Zodiac Casino sister sites look awful, but they also have awful terms and conditions. You’re entitled to expect five-star treatment from a site with a name like “Luxury Casino,” but what you’ll get here is anything but.

UK Casino Club

Uk Casino Club logo

UK Casino Club makes a strong effort to back its all-British name with an all-British theme – but it’s gone a long way back in time to do it. A figure who might be King Arthur, dressed up in a suit of armour with a crown, gazes back at us from the homepage. Standing next to him is his queen, who wears a tiara. Oddly, there’s a caption underneath the image crediting Microgaming with creating the characters in 2013. If they’re from an online slots game, it’s one we don’t recognise. UK Casino Club offers almost six hundred casino games, with Microgaming a strong contributor to its portfolio. The collection includes slots, blackjack and video poker. Smack bang in the middle of its homepage, UK Casino Club promises us “the best casino gaming experience” at “one of the most prestigious casinos.” We’d love to know how that tallies with the x200 wagering requirement applied to the £700 welcome bonus and the other promotions at the casino. Having said that, the casino is called UK Casino Club despite being run by a company based in Malta, so perhaps honesty isn’t its strong suit.

Quatro Casino

Quatro Casino logo

The theming at most of the Zodiac Casino sister sites is paper-thin, and Quatro Casino is a good example of that. Quatro Casino is supposed to be – we think – a Norse-themed site. We say that because of the presence of a Viking character in the top-left of the homepage, although his presence is never explained. The content at casinos on the Apollo Entertainment Limited casino network is the same in terms of games. That leaves little to pick between them other than their themes and their welcome offers, and Quatro Casino has a different welcome promotion than what we’ve seen so far. It’s seven hundred free spins doled out over the first seven days a new player spends with the casino, accompanied by a matched deposit bonus worth up to £100. The spins have to be played through on the day they’re allocated or they’re forefeit. Bonus funds are attached to a heinous x200 wagering requirement, as are any winnings you might make from your free spins. In other words, you stand virtually no chance of ever being able to withdraw anything from promotions at Quatro Casino. The scrolling ticker of recent winners shows all payout amounts in Canadian dollars, so we’re left wondering if anyone from the UK ever wins anything here at all.

Zodiac Casino sister sites Quatro Casino

Casino Action

Casino Action logo

Casino Action is the friendliest-looking of the Zodiac Casino sister sites. It achieves that rank because of the cast of cartoon characters who appear on the homepage and serve as mascots for the casino. Casino Action promises to live up to its name by delivering casino action to our fingertips at speed. We can’t argue about the speed factor – Casino Action loads exceptionally quickly. Loading speed doesn’t tend to be an issue at any of the Apollo Entertainment Limited casino sites. Welcome offers and promotions, on the other hand, are very much an issue. At first glance, Casino Action seems to have the most generous welcome promotion on the entire Apollo Entertainment Limited casino network. It has a maximum value of £1250, divided over five deposits. To take full advantage of it, a player would have to deposit £3200 across those five deposits – and yes, they would still have to contend with the ridiculous x200 wagering requirement. No matter how big the progressive jackpots at Casino Action are or how cool the cartoon characters look, it’s difficult to overlook those terms. It’s rare we see a counterproductive bonus promotion, but the Zodiac Casino sister sites have counterproductive bonuses across the board.

Grand Mondial

Grandmondial logo

Grand Mondial tries to give the impression of being an incredibly generous online casino by showing us a picture of a lucky winner picking up a cheque for $1.4m in the splash graphic on the casino’s homepage. There are a couple of issues with this. The first is that the amount is listed in dollars rather than pounds, reflecting the fact that Grand Mondial isn’t a UK-focused casino site. The second is that the cheque is signed by Casino Rewards, not Grand Mondial. Casino Rewards is not the name of this casino nor the network company behind it, so we have no idea who paid this lucky woman, but it wasn’t anybody associated with Grand Mondial. The welcome offer at Grand Mondial is a little more tolerable than those at other Zodiac Casino sister sites because it doesn’t saddle players with a mass of bonus funds they’ll never be able to shift. For a £10 deposit, players get 150 bonus spins on Mega Moolah in the hope of walking away with its top prize. The issue is that even if they win it, they’re stuck with the same x200 wagering requirement. Can you imagine landing the £2m jackpot on Mega Moolah and having to wager it x200 before you could withdraw anything? You’d be stuck there spinning for the rest of your life!

Yukon Gold Casino

Yukongold Casino logo

For those who aren’t too hot on North American geography, Yukon is the smallest of the three territories in Canada. It was also the scene of a brief gold rush in the late 19th century. That, in a nutshell, is the inspiration behind the creation of Yukon Gold Casino. Quite what the gold rush has to do with the GTA-style character and the rock monster on the homepage of the Yukon Gold Casino website is beyond us, but we’ve already established that the graphics on the homepages of Zodiac Casino sister sites don’t always make sense in the context of the casinos. Yukon Gold Casino is another of the Apollo Entertainment Limited that prefers to offer free spins rather than massive matched deposit incentives as a welcome offer. It’s 125 bonus spins this time, and they’re not tied to any specific online slots game. That gives players a little more choice about how they want to use their welcome bonus, but that’s almost irrelevant when you consider that they’ll still be stuck with the same x200 wagering requirement no matter where they use the spins and what they win from them.

Zodiac Casino sister sites Yukon Gold

GT Casino

GT Casino logo

You’d never guess from the URL of GT Casino, but the “GT” in its name stands for “Golden Tiger.” In keeping with the name, the casino is supposed to have an Oriental theme. That much is obvious from the distinctive style of the Golden Tiger logo. Unfortunately, it seems the web designer responsible for Golden Tiger forgot what they were doing after implementing the name and the logo because the rest of the homepage features lightning, blue crystals, and the same Viking character that appears on the homepage of Quatro Casino. None of the Zodiac Casino sister sites are good-looking – most of them are, in fact, positively ugly – but none have quite so confused a design as Golden Tiger. If you’re hoping the welcome promotion at Golden Tiger might make up for the confused tone, it’s a vain hope. The promotion might be worth up to £1500 in matched deposit bonuses over five deposits, but a spend of £4967 would be required to trigger the full £1500 bonus, and that same old x200 wagering requirement would still apply anyway. GT Casino was launched more than fifteen years ago and looks every day of its age.

Zodiac Casino sister sites GT Casino

Grand Hotel Casino

Grand Hotel Casino logo

We’ll give Grand Hotel Casino its due – it’s designed to evoke the look and feel of an old-world luxury hotel, and it does a better job of doing that than any of the other Zodiac Casino sister sites do with their themes. The red carpet look lends the casino an air of prestige, but it’s quickly shattered when you see that the (up to) £560 welcome bonus is attached to that infuriating x200 wagering requirement yet again. If this were a real hotel, we’d be complaining to management about the extortionate amount being demanded of us the moment we walked through the door. Grand Hotel Casino operates a VIP loyalty scheme in which players are entered into regular big-money sweepstakes competitions as soon as they reach the “bronze” level. Similar schemes exist at the other casinos on the Apollo Entertainment Limited network, but none of them shouts about it as loud as Grand Hotel Casino does. We’d say that Grand Hotel Casino is probably the best of a bad bunch when it comes to Zodiac Casino sister sites – but we’re talking about a very bad bunch.

Zodiac Casino Review 2024

If you’ve read everything we had to say about the Zodiac Casino sister sites above, you’ll know that we’re not big fans of any of them. Is Zodiac Casino the exception to the rule? Is it the one Apollo Entertainment Limited casino that bucks the trend? The site has been online for twenty years, so does the benefit of all that experience make it better than its siblings? You don’t need to spend money there to find out – all you need to do is read this review.

Zodiac Casino Sister Sites

Zodiac Casino demonstrates a better quality of web design than any of its sister sites. The spinning bonus wheel in the foreground of its homepage makes it look lively, and the big-money Mega Moolah jackpot it promotes is obviously attractive to casual visitors to the site. On top of that, the whole site loads very quickly. It’s still not going to win any beauty contests, but Zodiac Casino looks better than any other casino on the Apollo Entertainment Limited network and is easy to navigate.

Zodiac Casino Welcome Offer

As we’ve already seen while assessing the Zodiac Casino sister sites, there are big differences between some of the welcome promotions at Apollo Entertainment casino sites, but they tend to have one thing in common. That’s the offensively high wagering requirement, and it’s present at Zodiac Casino just as it is everywhere else in the family. The welcome promotion at Zodiac Casino is eighty bonus spins in the hope of winning big money on Mega Moolah, but with the x200 wagering requirement in place, you’ll find that even if you won big, you’ll quickly come to wish you hadn’t. The deposit required to attract the bonus is a mere £1.

Ongoing Promotions

Zodiac Casino claims to offer award-winning VIP treatment to all of its players. We have a couple of issues with that statement. The first is that there’s no evidence to suggest this casino has ever won any awards. The second is that there’s no sign of a VIP program anyway. In fact, we can’t find any sign of any promotions beyond the signup bonus. We know that casinos on this network do offer VIP loyalty programs because we’ve seen them advertised on the other sites, but it seems that Zodiac Casino has no promotions whatsoever to offer beyond its dreadful welcome bonus.

Pros and Cons of Zodiac Casino

Pros:

Zodiac Casino loads very quickly and has an easy-to-use interface. You shouldn’t have any issues accessing this casino site or finding your way around.

We’d love to be able to list a second “pro” of playing at Zodiac Casino here for the sake of balance, but we can’t think of one.

Cons:

The wagering requirements of x200 imposed against bonus funds at Zodiac Casino are disgusting and leave players with zero chance of ever being able to withdraw anything gained through promotions or free spins.

Zodiac Casino offers no guidance on timelines for withdrawals, nor does it even make it clear what deposit and withdrawal methods it accepts. There are no promotions beyond the welcome offer. There’s no telephone-based customer support. We could go on.

Featured Slots and Casino Games

There are about 550 casino games at Zodiac Casino, the overwhelming majority of which are slots. There are a few live dealer and video poker games, but slots are what the casino bases itself around. The slots collection looks a little old to us – but then again, so does the whole casino. Here are a few of the slots that were promoted as “popular games” at Zodiac Casino at the time of our visit.

Mega Moolah: This Microgaming classic is known as “the millionaire maker” because of the sheer number of times it’s done precisely that – changed a player’s life by delivering a jackpot of more than £1m. Now operated by Games Global, Mega Moolah offers average volatility and an RTP of 88.12%. That’s a very low RTP by modern standards, but that’s the price you pay for chasing the massive prizes the slot has to offer. The whole game is based around the jackpot, but the free spins feature adds a little variety.

Immortal Romance: Classic games by Microgaming (now owned by Games Global) are obviously popular with players at Zodiac Casino because there are several of them in the “featured slots” section. This vampire-themed creation is one of Microgaming’s all-time greats and introduced the concept of character-driven slots to millions of players. Your choice of character in this slot will influence the type and quality of the bonus promotions you’re offered and might even change the RTP of the whole slot. Volatility remains average throughout, though.

Terminator 2: It says a lot about the age of the games portfolio at Zodiac Casino that Microgaming’s long-forgotten official Terminator 2 game is still one of the top online slots here. Released in 2014, it offers 96.62% RTP with average variance. The slot does a good job with the theme, using not only pictures and short clips from the legendary movie but real sound effects, too. The reels of the slot expand during the free spins feature, which represents the best chance to walk away from the slot in profit.

Deposit and Withdrawal Methods

We’re totally in the dark about this. There’s a GIF in the footer of the Zodiac Casino homepage that confirms Astropay, Paysafe voucher cards, PayPal, Skrill, Instadebit and Neteller are accepted as deposit methods. We have to assume that debit cards are also accepted. There’s no banking page and nothing about withdrawals in the casino’s FAQ, but the wording of the terms and conditions suggests that withdrawal fees might be charged. We can’t find any information about how quickly or slowly withdrawals might be processed or which of the deposit methods are also approved for withdrawals. It’s a poor show.

Customer Support and License

Zodiac Casino claims to offer round-the-clock, multilingual live chat support. In addition, there’s an email contact form on the website with a selectable list of topics to ensure that your query goes to the right place for a speedy response. Telephone support isn’t an option. Zodiac Casino is covered by Apollo Entertainment Limited’s UK Gambling Commission licence in the UK and the company’s Malta Gaming Authority licence outside it.

Zodiac Casino – The Verdict

It won’t surprise anybody who’s read the above review that we don’t recommend playing at Zodiac Casino. It’s a disgrace that a wagering requirement of x200 is even permitted, let alone implemented, and the lack of information about withdrawal processing is a big concern. On top of that, the design of the casino looks as old as the games in its portfolio. Hundreds of online casinos do a better job of catering for modern players, so there’s no need to waste time or money on this one.
