The island theme of Bet Coco is subtle, but it’s enough to get the job done in terms of the casino’s visual presentation. We’ve all seen plenty of fruit-themed casinos before, but it’s not often that you see one themed around coconuts. The site seems a little slow to load, but it’s well-turned-out, and all of its key features are easy to find. There are more slots here than you’d expect to find at Curacao-licensed casinos, but it takes more than great slots to make a great casino. Let’s see what Bet Coco is made of.

The welcome promotion at Bet Coco is split up into three stages, each of which takes the form of a deposit boost. First deposits of £10 or more are boosted at 100% up to £1000. Second deposits get the same treatment but also come with twenty-five free spins on a top-quality slots game like Sweet Bonanza. Third deposits are back to a straightforward 100% boost up to £1000, meaning there’s £3000 in bonus cash available to new players. The wagering requirements attached to the bonus cash are x40, which is higher than average, but not by a significant amount.

Ongoing Promotions

There isn’t a VIP or loyalty reward scheme at Bet Coco, but there are enough additional promotions to keep things interesting. For example, once per week, players can claim a 10% boost to their deposits. Similarly, there’s a 20% boost that can be claimed once per month. Both of these promotions come with just an x1 wagering requirement, so there’s a much better chance of turning them into real money than there is with the welcome bonus. The top ongoing promotion at Bet Coco, though, is its cashback scheme.

Bet Coco offers up to twenty per cent of all losses back as cashback but plays a little fast and loose with the terms. The biggest annoyance is that the cashback is subject to the same wagering requirements as the sign-up offer, which feels excessive. Secondly, cashback is awarded on a VIP, invite-only basis, with no information provided about how to qualify for the bonus. We suspect that spending a lot of money with the casino would probably do the trick, but it would be nice to have certainty.

Pros and Cons of Bet Coco

Pros: There are more slots and games at Bet Coco than you might normally expect to find at a Curacao-based casino. There’s also a decent amount of sign-up bonus cash on the table if you decide you’re happy to accept the terms and conditions that come with them. The banking page at Bet Coco is one of the most detailed we’ve ever seen.

Cons: It isn’t clear how players qualify for the ongoing cashback scheme at Bet Coco. While plenty of information is provided about withdrawals, the withdrawals themselves are slow, with a quoted turnaround of three days, regardless of the method used. The licence that Bet Coco claims to hold with Curacao eGaming is weak, and according to Curacao eGaming, it’s no longer in force. That makes the casino unlicensed.

When we see “Bet” in the name of an iGaming site, we usually expect it to offer sports betting. Bet Coco bucks that trend because there’s no sports betting to be had here at all. Instead, this is a fairly traditional online casino with a focus on slots, table games and live dealer games. From those three categories, slots take centre stage. The casino appears to be fed by some of the industry’s top names, so the slots in the featured positions on its homepage are of high quality.

Bet Coco is mid-range as far as Curacao casinos go, neither being particularly bad nor particularly good.
