While the layout of the Goldenbet promotions page is more than a little frustrating on account of bonuses being laid out in no apparent order, it’s clear for a quick glance that there are plenty of other perks for players at this casino to enjoy. The biggest of them is an ongoing offer of ten per cent cash back on all losses. Players have to request their cashback manually but can do so multiple times per day. The amount is restricted to a minimum of £10 and a maximum of £500, and all cashback funds have a fairly unpleasant wagering requirement of x45 attached to them.
Again, if you’re more interested in sports betting, Goldenbet has a fairly unique sports promotion to offer. For every three bets a player makes, they receive a fourth bet free. What are the Pros and Cons of Goldenbet?
Pros: As well as having a very solid welcome promotion, Goldenbet also has a decent number of ongoing promotions to keep players interested for the long term. The casino claims to offer more than five thousand games and provide access to more than one thousand sports betting markets which, if true, is outstanding.
Cons: None of the Goldenbet sister sites have a UKGC licence. That means players from the UK who play at this casino do so against the law, and without basic protections. We therefore deduce that these are the only accepted payment and withdrawal methods at Goldenbet, which is a little surprising because the Goldenbet sister sites also deal in cryptocurrencies. There isn’t a banking page at the casino, and the full terms and conditions don’t outline the withdrawal process in detail other than saying that bank transfers are processed within three business days. As such, we’re unable to confirm how long or short the wait for withdrawals from this casino might be.
Customer Support and Licensing
If players at Goldenbet find themselves in need of assistance, they can use the live chat facility or send a longer-form message to [email protected]. The casino is operated by Santeda International B.V., which has definitely held a licence from Curacao eGaming in the past. However, there’s no longer any reference to any such licence on the Goldenbet Casino website. That makes us wonder what happened to it. Did the regulator revoke the company’s licence? Did the operator decide that it was no longer necessary to have one? Whatever the reason, Goldenbet is now entirely unlicensed. We assume the same to be true of the Goldenbet sister sites, and we have to describe them as unsafe for that reason.
Goldenbet – The Verdict
We’ve mentioned that this casino doesn’t have a UKGC licence numerous times now, so we’ll trust that you’ve got the message about that. Putting that aside, Goldenbet is a very big casino with some intriguing promotions and thousands of games to play. Its layout is a little confusing, and it lacks the good looks of either Rolletto Casino or MyStake, but it has just as much to offer as its siblings.
