It does all of the usual online casino things (and does many of them well, which we’ll get to in this review), but it also promises things like NFT revenue shares, the ability to use NFTs as stakes, and a few other highly-specific blockchain-related things that will make no sense to anyone who just wants to play slots and perhaps win some money. None of these proposed web3 functions are active yet, though, which means we can review Metapins as a regular casino.

Metaspins Welcome Offers

From AI-generated graphics to crypto promotions, cutting-edge digital technology is the calling card of Metaspins – the site has based its whole personality around it. As an example, new players are promised a one hundred per cent deposit match up to a maximum value of one Bitcoin on their first deposit. The value of Bitcoin can go up or down, but you don’t need to be a web3 whizz to know that a single coin is worth tens of thousands of pounds. Whatever bonus you end up with, whether it’s a whole Bitcoin or a mere £100, will have to be wagered x40 before you can withdraw it.

Ongoing Promotions

Metaspins offers a lot of promotions, but most of them are tied into a central factor – the Metaspins “Level Up” challenge. In practice, this is a tiered VIP system of the kind that you’ve probably seen at dozens of online casinos in the past. The biggest thing promised by the Level Up challenge is rakeback, for which you can read “cashback.” Players start earning ten per cent cashback on losses at Level two, which increases to fifteen per cent at Level six, twenty-five per cent at Level twenty-six, thirty-five per cent at Level one hundred and fifty-one, and fifty per cent at Level one thousand. Yes, that’s a ridiculous number of levels.

The system for actually moving through ranks, however, is very convoluted. Players must first spend money to earn points, which is fine. You move through the ranks when you’ve spun the wheel a certain number of times, for example, two hundred spins to make it to Level two and then another three hundred to make it to level three. This is a very modern casino site, and it’s served by the biggest names in every iGaming category when it comes to games.
