THE ROCKET BET SISTER SITES DO NOT HOLD A LICENCE FROM THE UK GAMBLING COMMISSION

Riviera Bet

Riviera Bet logo

Riviera Bet might not be as visually appealing as Rocket Bet, but it’s certainly more pleasant to look at than Ocean Bet. Some might say that outdoing Ocean Bet in terms of design isn’t exactly a tough challenge, and they’d probably be right. However, the most striking feature of Riviera Bet has nothing to do with its appearance. It’s about what’s missing – a promotions page. Unlike Rocket Bet, which offers a heap of promotions and bonuses running into thousands of pounds, Riviera Bet lacks even the simplest welcome offer. This makes it the epitome of a bare-bones casino. For some, this no-frills approach might be appealing, while for others, it’s a clear reason to steer clear. It really boils down to what you’re looking for in a casino, but in our view, it ranks as the least impressive option on the platform.

Ocean Bet

Ocean Bet logo

If you’re into straightforward, to-the-point casinos, you might take to Ocean Bet. Of the two Rocket Bet sister sites, it’s the more basic option, sporting a plain grey backdrop and a simple display of slots and games on its homepage. The reason behind the name “Ocean Bet” is a bit of a mystery, as there’s nothing particularly oceanic about its design or theme. What Ocean Bet does seem proud of, however, are its partnerships with game providers, highlighted by their logos displayed across the middle of the homepage. Together, these providers have stocked Ocean Bet with over seven thousand games and slots, making it a giant in terms of game selection. However, the promotions it offers aren’t quite as impressive or attractive. It’s not as bad as Riviera Bet in that respect as it has at least something to offer, but it’s still nowhere near being in the same ballpark as Rocket Bet.

Can Rocket Bet Be Trusted?

trust score

★★★★★

Rocket Bet is a 2-star trusted casino.

1. Licenses and Fines Through R Bostock Enterprises B.V., Rocket Bet holds a Curacao eGaming licence. We have no information to suggest that the operator has ever been fined.
2. Accepts UK players? While Rocket Bet accepts UK players, it shouldn’t do so because it doesn’t have the correct licence.
3. Trustpilot Score N/A – The casino hasn’t yet attracted any Trustpilot reviews.
4. Operator Name & Location R Bostock Enterprises B.V. is based and licensed in Curacao. We’re giving the company credit for holding a recognised licence, but Curacao casinos still have a poor reputation among players.
5. Bonus Terms General bonus wagering terms at Rocket Bet are a little high at x40.
6. Customer Support The “Contact Us” link on the Rocket Bet website is broken, so there’s no way of getting in touch.
7. Withdrawal Speed & Options Debit card, e-wallet and crypto support, all with an average three-day turnaround.
8. Number of Sister Sites Both of the Rocket Bet sister sites are listed above.
9. Games portfolio In excess of seven thousand slots, live casino games, crash games, sports betting and more.
10. On GamStop? Rocket Bet is not on GamStop.

Rocket Bet Review 2024

Rocket Bet looks like a world-class casino, but we really want you to hone in on those words, “looks like.” The casino gets almost everything right in terms of aesthetics, from its trendy space theme to the sheer amount if iGaming categories it manages to squeeze in and promote on its landing page. However, it only takes the tiniest of tugs on any of the threads that Rocket Bet leaves dangling on its homepage to find out that all is not well at Rocket Bet. Read on to find out more.

Rocket Bet sister sites homepage

Rocket Bet Welcome Offers

Rocket Bet grabs your attention immediately with a splash banner on its homepage promoting a welcome offer worth up to £10,000, ongoing cashback and five hundred free spins. The problem is that the offer doesn’t seem to exist. Clicking on the banner takes players to a sign-up screen with no further information about the welcome bonus, and the promotion isn’t listed on the casino’s “promotions” page. The same is true of the Refer A Friend offer that appears on the homepage. Given that there are no terms and conditions listed anywhere for the apparent welcome bonus, we’re forced to conclude that there isn’t one, and that the banner on the homepage is a mistake – a very bad one.

Ongoing Promotions

There might be a VIP scheme at Rocket Bet, but it’s in the same boat as the welcome bonus. Clicking on the “VIP” link takes players to a space-themed screen full of planets, each marked with a padlock. Presumably, the idea is that players unlock each planet by completing specific achievements, and pick up rewards on the way. The problem is that the casino doesn’t tell us what the rewards are or how to unlock them. Perhaps it’s Rocket Bet trying to be mysterious, or perhaps it’s an error on the scale of the welcome bonus.

The good news is that there are some bonuses we can definitely vouch for the existence of. Players can claim up to one hundred free spins by making deposits on a Monday, and get a 100% matched deposit on all crypto deposits made on Tuesdays. If you’re not using crypto, the matched element drops to 50%. There are blackjack-specific cashback offers on Thursdays, more free spins with Friday deposits, a 100% deposit match on Saturday, and a choice of either one hundred free spins or another 100% deposit match on Sundays. The wagering requirement that the casino usually imposes on bonuses is x40.

Pros and Cons of Rocket Bet

Pros: The best thing about Rocket Bet is the way it looks, which isn’t how things should work. We’ll tip our hat to the size of its portfolio too, and we think that some of the regular weekly bonuses sound reasonable. That’s as far as we can do with positivity about this site.

Cons: What a mess. The welcome promotion is either mislabelled or misleading. There’s no information about the VIP scheme. The “deposit” and “withdraw” links take us back to the homepage, and the “contact us” link doesn’t work at all. With no way to get in touch with the casino, no clarity over withdrawal processing, and concerns about the accuracy of the little data that the casino provides, there are way too many red flags at Rocket Bet to consider it a worthwhile risk.

Top Games at Rocket Bet

The amount of content that Rocket Bet has crammed into its website is incredible. The number of slots alone is over seven thousand, and that would be impressive even if there was nothing else here. As it happens, Rocket Bet also has sports betting, live dealer games, live game shows, and a whole area for crash games, which are the latest iGaming trend and grow in popularity all the time. If Rocket Bet also offered bingo, it would tick every box. Slots are still the casino’s priority, though, and the best of its slots appear first on the homepage before any other categories get a look-in.

The casino’s top slots game is Rocket Blast Megaways by Pragmatic Play, which we should perhaps have seen coming, given the casino’s theme. Pragmatic Play is well represented in the casino’s top slots section, with Gates of Olympus and Sugar Rush also making the cut. We could even include the legendary fishing-themed Big Bass Bonanza slots game as another Pragmatic Play entry. It comes from Reel Kingdom, but Reel Kingdom is a Pragmatic Play partner studio. The other slots on the top row are the famous Book of Dead slot from Play’n Go, and Hacksaw Gaming’s iconic western Wanted: Dead or a Wild.

Withdrawal Processing and Support

The Rocket Bet sister sites don’t allow for cryptocurrency deposits or withdrawals, so we were a little surprised to see the logos of pretty much every major crypto featured in the footer of the Rocket Bet homepage. We know that Curacao eGaming has come to take a dim view of crypto gaming, so we wonder how long the casino will continue to permit the activity. The other permitted methods are debit cards issued by Visa or Mastercard, or Jeton e-wallets. Players in some locations might also be able to use Interac. The banking links on the Rocket Bet homepage don’t work, so there’s nothing we can tell you about processing times. If the casino is like its sister sites, it will likely be able to get money to you in three days.

Customer Support and Licensing

As we’ve already said above, the contact links on the Rocket Bet website are broken, which is a huge problem. As there’s no love chat widget, there’s no available means of contacting the casino. We think that sending an email to [email protected] might work, but that’s just an educated guess. Nevertheless, Rocket Bet is still listed on Curacao eGaming licence 1668/JAZ via its operator R Bostock Enterprises B.V., which is the same licence that covers the Rocket Bet sister sites. Players in the UK get no protection or support from the licence or regulator.

Rocket Bet – The Verdict

If you’ve read the rest of this review, you know what we’re about to say. Space rockets might be the motif of Rocket Bet, but if we had to compare the casino to something vehicle-related, it would be a car crash. The fact that the casino advertises a welcome promotion that it fails to deliver is bad, but the fact that it has broken contact links is even worse. From top to bottom, it feels like more effort was put into making Rocket Bet look pretty than there was put into making it work properly, and the result is a casino that’s full of too many holes to be considered safe or trustworthy. Keep your money in your wallet and head elsewhere.
