Las Atlantis

Las Atlantis logo

Atlantis is the legendary city said to have disappeared under the sea long before people began to make permanent records of history. Contrast that with Las Vegas, the most renowned city for gambling in the world. So what does that make Las Atlantis? Maybe a mythical gambling city? It seems so. It’s a fresh idea for an online casino site, and in a world where new casino concepts are as scarce as golden geese, it’s refreshing to see this kind of originality from a member of the Aussie Play sister sites family. The futuristic skyline on the Las Atlantis homepage is pleasing to look at, and like its siblings, it offers hefty bonuses for new sign-ups. The downside, though, is that its slot game selection doesn’t quite live up to the rest of its offerings. It has a striking appearance and makes bold promises, but it falls short of delivering the expected range of games.

Slots Empire

Slots Empire

Slots Empire really goes deep with its ancient Roman theme, outshining many other online casinos that try to channel the same atmosphere by using the same theme. Navigating the site might feel a bit cumbersome, but visually, it’s a knockout. It makes a stronger first impression than any other site in the Aussie Play sister sites family. On top of that, it comes with a larger selection of slot games than many of its network counterparts and offers some tempting bonuses. However, its welcome offer doesn’t quite hit the mark. The terms and conditions for the sign-up bonus at Slots Empire are bewildering — despite going over them several times, they remain hard to grasp for us, and we’re experienced casino reviewers. This complexity means that newcomers might not find the smoothest start here. If you can make head or tail of this bonus, you’re doing a better job than us.

Red Dog Casino

Red Dog Casino logo

Red Dog Casino is the ugly stepsister of the Aussie Play sister sites. That sounds like an insult, but we don’t necessarily mean it to come across that way. As you’ve seen from the casinos we’ve looked at so far, most of the iGaming sites on the Abarth Solutions OU platform are very good-looking. Red Dog Casino is a little plainer, but there are definite upsides to it being plainer. The biggest of them is that it’s a lot easier to find your way around Red Dog Casino than it is with any of the operator’s other sites. The other is that the bonuses are a little easier to understand, too. They’re still a little bit confusing – you can claim and re-claim the sign-up offers at Red Dog Casino so many times that we wonder if the operator really knows what a welcome promotion is – but compared to the likes of Slots Empire, it’s a walk in the park.

El Royale Casino

El Royale Casino

The 2D cartoon-style design of Slots Empire really grabs your attention, and if that appeals to you, you might also enjoy El Royale Casino. Unlike Slots Empire, which draws from ancient Rome, El Royale is inspired by the concept of a casino nestled within a luxurious hotel. To enhance its grand allure, El Royale dishes out up to £7,500 in welcome bonuses and offers up to £23,000 in additional bonuses through its VIP program. That’s quite a sum! However, be prepared to dig deep into your pockets if you’re aiming to snatch up all those bonuses. Despite its sophisticated appearance, El Royale is actually quite straightforward and is perhaps the easiest to navigate among the Aussie Play sister sites, especially with its user-friendly interface. We know we said similar things about Red Dog Casino a moment ago, but El Royale has really mastered the art of looking complex while retaining simplicity. It’s a triumph of design.

Can Aussie Play Be Trusted?

trust score

★★★★

Aussie Play is a 1-star trusted casino.

1. Licenses and Fines Aussie Play claims to hold a licence issued by the Union of Comoros. We have no way of confirming that.
2. Accepts UK players? Even if the casino does hold a licence as per the above, it wouldn’t be sufficient to allow the casino to accept UK players. The fact that it does is, therefore, a big problem.
3. Trustpilot Score N/A – Aussie Play hasn’t yet attracted enough Trustpilot reviews for us to score it in this category.
4. Operator Name & Location Abarth Solutions OU is based on the little-known island of Anjouan, which is part of the Union of Comoros in Africa. There’s no regulation for iGaming companies there.
5. Bonus Terms Wagering requirements for bonuses at Aussie Play vary, but never go higher than x40. That’s slightly over the industry average.
6. Customer Support Telephone and email support. The casino further claims to offer live chat, but we couldn’t find a link to it.
7. Withdrawal Speed & Options Debit card, bank transfer or Bitcoin, with 3-5 day turnarounds and high minimum limits.
8. Number of Sister Sites The four Aussie Play sister sites are all identified above.
9. Games portfolio Fewer than two hundred slots plus some table game simulators. No live dealer or live casino games.
10. On GamStop? Aussie Play is not on GamStop.

Aussie Play Review 2024

Aussie Play is up there with the prettiest casinos on this platform but it doesn’t look especially Australian. There’s a cat on the homepage, plus some kind of green hooded creature, but there’s nothing we’d call stereotypically or even identifiably Australian. The city backdrop of the homepage could be anywhere in the world – there isn’t even a hint of Sydney Harbour Bridge in it. It’s good-looking, but it’s a little anonymous, and the way that the homepage loads segment by segment as you scroll down it is irritating. Let’s see if Aussie Play can make the annoying navigation worth our while to put up with.

Aussie Play Welcome Offers

We’ve come to expect bafflingly complex sign-up offers from the casinos on this network, so we’re pleased to see that things are a little more straightforward at Aussie Play. The advertised welcome promotion is £8000 in bonus cash, but as you might expect with a sum so large, you’ll have to put a fair bit of time, effort and money in if you want to avail yourself of the full amount. It’s delivered as a 200% matched deposit bonus with a maximum of £2000, and it can be claimed four times. A minimum deposit of £10 is required each time, and the wagering requirement is x40. It’s above average for a wagering requirement, but not by a huge amount. It’s a solid start for the casino.

Ongoing Promotions

While the welcome bonus at Aussie Play is pretty simple, the other promotions are anything but. “Bonus Two” (the casino’s terminology, not ours) is a 200% slots bonus plus twenty-five free spins for deposits of £20 or more, 210% plus forty free spins for deposits of £50 or more, or 250% and seventy-five free spins for deposits of £200 or more. This would be fine if it weren’t for the fact that the terms and conditions of the promotion stipulate that it can be claimed five times, but only for the first five deposits made after registration at the casino. How, then, can this exist alongside the primary welcome promotion?

The same is true of bonus three, which is a 235% matched deposit bonus for all deposits worth £10 or more but is also reserved for the first five deposits. There are also bonuses labelled “Bonus Four” and “Bonus Five,” but these also clash with the main welcome bonus. We have no idea how it’s possible for all of these bonuses to co-exist, and we suspect that they can’t. There are also bonuses that are specific to new games, time-limited “special offers,” and allusions to the casino operating a VIP scheme. If there’s a VIP scheme in operation at Aussie Play, it’s very quiet about it – there are no terms or other pieces of useful information available anywhere on the casino’s website.

Pros and Cons of Aussie Play

Pros: The £8000 welcome promotion at Aussie Play sounds great, and with the amount of cash on the table, putting up with a slightly higher-than-average wagering requirement of x40 feels like a fair trade-off. The casino is exceptionally good-looking and accepts cryptocurrency transactions.

Cons: The other bonuses offered by the casino appear to have clashing, contradictory terms. There are references made to a VIP scheme that isn’t detailed anywhere on the casino’s website. The withdrawal minimum limits are too high, there aren’t enough games, and the casino doesn’t have a licence. These are all killer negatives, and they make Aussie Play as difficult to trust as its website is to navigate.

Top Games at Aussie Play

There really isn’t much choice at Aussie Play, which is surprising, because there are casinos on this platform that have thousands of slots. By contrast, Aussie Play doesn’t even have two hundred. That might not be so bad if the casino was well-supplied in other categories, but it isn’t. It doesn’t have any live game shows or live dealer casino games at all, and the table game simulators that it offers are fairly basic. Even if you do decide to stick around and give Aussie Play a try after reading all of the above, it’s likely that the shallow pool of games would nudge you into moving on before long.

With so few providers serving the casino with games, the top slots at Aussie Play aren’t likely to be familiar to you. As an example of that, the top slots game at the time of our visit to the casino was Kong Fu, which was released by RTG in February 2024. It has an amusing martial arts animals theme, but there’s nothing especially notable about it. In true Australian style, the second most popular slots game at the casino is Planet of the Roos, the inspiration for which is obvious. That’s also an RTG product. The other slots that make up the top five are Locking Archer, Robin Hood’s Riches, and T-Rex: Wild Attack. Given that they’re also from RTG, it looks like the casino doesn’t work with any other providers.

Withdrawal Processing and Support

Withdrawing your money using a debit or credit card from the casino will take about three to four business days to get approved. If you opt for a wire transfer, expect to wait at least five business days. Bitcoin offers the quickest withdrawals, which are typically approved within one to three business days. However, none of these methods are particularly quick, and the set withdrawal limits might be an issue for many players. The rules are that you can’t withdraw less than £150 or more than £2,500 in one go. While VIP players might be able to withdraw more, the casino doesn’t provide clear information on how you can achieve VIP status.

Customer Support and Licensing

If you want to speak to someone at Aussie Play over the phone, you can do that by calling +1 855 201 1872. If you prefer to use email, the correct address for the casino is [email protected]. The Contact Us page of the casino’s website says that live chat is also available, but we couldn’t find any way to access it. The casino claims to be covered by a Gaming Licence that was issued by the Autonomous Island of Anjouan in the Union of Comoros under notice number 007. We’ve never heard of any such authority in relation to iGaming, and even if it does exist, Aussie Play doesn’t offer any proof of the licence on its homepage. The licence certainly wouldn’t be enough to allow the casino to accept players from other regulated territories, but it does that anyway. There are Aussie Play sister sites that claim to hold licences other than this one, so we’re not sure what’s going on with licensing at the operator’s end.

Aussie Play – The Verdict

The brilliant first impression that Aussie Play makes on visitors doesn’t take long to fade away. In fact, we’d say it vanishes as soon as you look beyond the welcome promotion. Sure, it’s great to have thousands of pounds of bonus cash, but how can we be sure the offer is valid when so many of the casino’s other promotions appear to clash with it? Why are there so few slots and games here compared to the casino’s sister sites? Why is the minimum withdrawal so high at £150? What’s going on with the casino’s licence situation? If Aussie Play was as good as it looked, it would be a world-class casino. Instead, it’s a casino that ought to be of no interest to almost anybody in the world. We suppose the one bright spot is that there’s plenty of room for improvement.

What are players saying about Aussie Play?

Here are our condensed / reader’s digest summaries of recent player reviews of Aussie Play.

  • 18-Mar-2024 by Jakey:
Depositing through regular methods like credit or debit cards is nearly impossible without incurring extra fees through alternative methods like Flexi Pin or Bitcoin. They’re overly aggressive with verification requests, often falsely claiming card issues. The games offered are unoriginal and rarely pay out. I recommend looking elsewhere. – source: Casino Guru
  • 15-Feb-2024 by George:
I’ve noticed a pattern where winning slot combinations are not acknowledged by the games, effectively robbing you of winnings. Despite raising this issue for months with over 1000 screenshots as proof, no resolution has been provided. While the slot selection and promotions are appealing, the payout policies and escalating wagering requirements make winning nearly impossible. – source: Casino Guru
  • 14-Nov-2023 by Alex:
After playing a free chip and winning, I hit a wall trying to withdraw my winnings. It took over a week just to get verified, and even after depositing as they requested, my withdrawal request via Bitcoin has been pending for days. It’s been nearly two weeks since the initial win, and I’m left wondering if I’ll ever see that money. – source: Casino Guru
  • 05-Nov-2023 by Alexander:
It took over 12 days for my verification to be completed. Even then, withdrawals, especially via BTC, are slow. Initially frustrated with the repetitive requests for information from the same support person, I’ve settled on giving them 3 stars for eventually verifying my account. – source: Casino Guru
  • 22-Oct-2023 by Erica:
After months of trying, I never received my withdrawal from Aussie Play. The process was so prolonged and fruitless that my account balance eventually vanished. This casino is a waste of time and money. – source: Casino Guru
  • 17-Sep-2023 by Dodger:
Aussie Play is a quirky little casino. I gave the free signup bonus a shot but didn’t win anything. The name does raise questions about its friendliness towards US players, but overall, it’s a fun place to gamble. – source: Casino Guru
  • 09-Aug-2023 by Lauren:
A major upside to Aussieplay is the variety of payment options, which is more extensive than many other casinos. This diversity makes it an attractive option for players looking to win more with the convenience it offers. – source: Casino Guru
  • 30-May-2023 by DerKasseler:
The selection of games and providers is limited, support response times are long, and payouts take even longer. This casino could improve significantly in several areas. – source: Casino Guru
  • 03-Dec-2022 by Chris:
Aussie Play stands out with its unique design and promotions. While the games seem fair, slow customer support and complicated withdrawal processes detract from the experience. Improving cashout times could elevate this casino. – source: Casino Guru
  • 18-Jun-2022 by Typical123:
The slots feel incredibly tight, offering little in return for the money spent. Even a free chip provided no bonuses or substantial gameplay. It’s disappointing compared to other casinos. – source: Casino Guru
