THE RED DOG CASINO SISTER SITES DO NOT HOLD A LICENCE FROM THE UK GAMBLING COMMISSION

Slots Empire

Slots Empire

Slots Empire has an ancient Roman theme, but it’s really gone to a town with the theme in a way that very few other online casinos that share the same theme could ever hope to match. The way players need to navigate the casino can be a little clunky, but it looks fantastic. Slots Empire makes the best first impression of any of the Red Dog Casino sister sites. It also comes with more slots than most casinos based in this part of the world, and has some attractive bonus offers. However, the welcome promotion isn’t one of them. The terms and conditions of the sign-up bonus at Slots Empire are the most confusing we’ve ever seen, to the extent that we’ve read them in full multiple times and still can’t make sense of them. That means new players at Slots Empire don’t get off to the easiest of starts.

El Royale Casino

El Royale Casino

The 2D cartoonish layout of Slots Empire makes a strong impression on players, and if you like the look of it, you’re also likely to like the look of El Royale Casino. Rather than taking inspiration from ancient Rome, though, this member of the Red Dog Casino sister sites family takes its inspiration from the idea of a casino set into a grand hotel. To sell the idea of the casino being truly grand, El Royale offers up to £7500 in welcome bonuses and up to £23,000 in further bonuses as part of its VIP scheme. That’s a lot of money, but you should be aware that you’ll also have to spend a lot of money if you intend to claim all of it. Despite looking sophisticated, El Royale is deceptively simple in execution and is probably the easiest of the Red Dog Casino sister sites to get to grips with in terms of its user interface.

Las Atlantis

Las Atlantis logo

Atlantis is an ancient city of myth that’s said to have vanished beneath the waves thousands of years ago, before the start of recorded history. Las Vegas, on the other hand, is the world’s most famous gambling city. What, then, does that make Las Atlantis? A gambling city of myth? Perhaps so. It’s a novel concept for an iGaming site, and novel concepts are as rare as hen’s teeth in the online casino world, so we’re happy to praise this member of the Red Dog Casino sister sites family for its originality. The futuristic cityscape in the background of the Las Atlantis homepage is easy on the eye, and it mirrors the approach of most of its sister sites by offering huge amounts of bonus cash to new players. Its problem, however, is that its selection of slots isn’t as strong as the rest of its proposition. It looks great and it talks a great game, but it can’t back it up with content.

Aussie Play

Aussie Play logo

A lot of the casinos that belong to companies based in places like Comoros or Curacao are aimed at players in the UK (illegally, we should add). That isn’t always the case, though, and it appears that there are different members of the Red Dog Casino sister sites family for different audiences. You don’t get any prizes for guessing which target audience Aussie Play has in mind. This is a big, bold and beautiful casino site, continuing the theme of all the casinos on this operator’s platform having excellent graphics and strong presentation. We’re not sure what the cat or the other creature on the Aussie Play homepage has to do with Australia, but we don’t necessarily mind them being there. Aussie Play uses a similar layout and interface to Slots Empire, so it can feel a little cumbersome, but once you’ve got your head around it, it’s not so bad.

Red Dog Casino Review 2024

When we were talking about the Red Dog Casino sister sites further up this page, we noted that almost all of the casinos on this platform are stunning from a visual standpoint. Red Dog Casino is the site that goes against the grain on that front. It’s not that there’s anything especially wrong with its style – it just isn’t a visual knockout like the others are. It’s perfectly functional, though, and it does a good job of showing off that this is a casino that comes stacked with bonuses and slots. Let’s have a closer look.

Red Dog Casino sister sites homepage

Red Dog Casino Welcome Offers

There are two welcome promotions at Red Dog Casino, both of which look broadly similar to each other. The larger of the two is advertised as a £2450 slots bonus, which appears to be a first deposit boost, although the terms aren’t clear. We don’t know what the percentage boost is, but we assume it to be £100. There’s a £20 minimum to qualify for the deposit, and players who deposit using crypto can claim 20% extra value. The wagering requirement attached to the bonus is x35. The wording of the offer implies that the bonus can be claimed five times, which is odd for a welcome bonus but appreciated.

The second welcome promotion, which can also apparently be claimed twice, is a matched deposit of up to £2000 with fifty bonus spins thrown in. There’s no extra percentage for crypto deposits this time, the minimum qualifying deposit is still £20, and the wagering requirement is still x35. Why both promotions exist side by side is beyond us, and we’re not clear on whether claiming one means that you can’t claim the other.

Ongoing Promotions

When new games are added to Red Dog Casino, new promotions are added with them. The nature of the promotions will change with the games, so double-check the casino’s promotions page to find out what’s available on that front. There’s also a £2100 matched deposit bonus (plus sixty free spins) that players can claim three times, and separate crypto bonuses that work along similar lines to the welcome promotion. Separate to all of this, though, is the series of “missions” that Red Dog Casino sets for players. By any other name, the missions are a loyalty reward scheme.

The mission system at the casino is complicated and pretty involved. A mission might involve completing one set task, or it could involve completing several. Some missions result in the awarding of badges, which in turn boost the number of points earned by players and determine their position on the leaderboards. Points are also dished out for making deposits at a rate of ten points for deposits below £30 but two hundred and fifty for deposits of over £500. Points can then be spent on rewards in the Red Dog Casino store, including bonus chips, free spins, deposit bonuses and more. It’s all pretty complicated, but it looks like it might be fun.

Pros and Cons of Red Dog Casino

Pros: The casino offers big bonuses with fair wagering requirements and other terms attached. The long-term rewards offered through the mission system also look pretty promising. With more than one thousand slots in its library, Red Dog Casino offers a decent amount of variety.

Cons: Withdrawals are slow, and the minimum limits are comparatively high. Feedback about the casino on Trustpilot is generally negative, which creates trust problems, and those trust problems are heightened by the fact that the casino can’t independently prove that it has a valid iGaming licence. There are a lot of red flags here.

Top Games at Red Dog Casino

We’ve already said that Red Dog Casino has plenty of slots, but perhaps we should have stressed that its slots don’t generally come from great providers. The overall range is limited because of the absence of providers like NetEnt and Pragmatic Play, meaning that the collection at the casino is mostly made up of smaller studios and also-rans. The live casino section is similarly affected, although it’s nice to see bingo and other categories covered in the wider portfolio. Even with those other categories, slots take up the most space at this site.

The top slots game at Red Dog Casino at the time of our visit to the site was Dreamcatcher by Begames, which has a mystical theme. We wouldn’t be overly surprised if you’ve never heard of it, though, and the same goes for the classic-themed Jo-Jo-Joker, which comes from the same provider, and the cute Wild Baribal slot with its animal mascot. Other top choices at Red Dog Casino include Hungry Rabbit, Tropical Party and Chicken Frenzy, none of which are big names.

Withdrawal Processing and Support

Debit card or credit card withdrawals from the casino will take between three and four business days for approval. Wire transfers will take at least five business days. That makes Bitcoin withdrawals the fastest, with approval granted in between one and three business days. None of these options are especially fast, though, and the maximums and minimums are likely to be problems for a lot of players. You can’t withdraw less than £150 or more than £2500 in a single transaction. VIP players may gain access to higher withdrawal limits, but the casino doesn’t tell us how to become a VIP.

Customer Support and Licensing

There are two telephone numbers for Red Dog Casino, both of which will involve dialling an international number. One is +1 850 4003 758, and the other is +61 1800 957 289. If you don’t want to pay for the call (or just don’t want to speak to anyone over the phone), you can use live chat or send an email to [email protected]. Licensing is a weird one at this casino – there’s a link to a PDF copy of a Gaming Curacao licence in the casino’s footer, but in cases where a casino has a licence from Gaming Curacao, we expect to see a link to the Gaming Curacao website in order to verify the licence. As Red Dog Casino hasn’t done this, we don’t know whether the licence is in force. This confusion presumably extends to all the Red Dog Casino sister sites, too.

Red Dog Casino – The Verdict

On the surface, Red Dog Casino appears to get a lot of things right. Look closer, though, and you’ll find that it’s getting a lot of things wrong. The wording of its bonuses is confusing, with a lack of clarity about percentages and methods for claiming. The withdrawal options are unnecessarily restrictive and don’t suit players on a budget or high rollers particularly well. The way the casino chooses to play its supposed licence is unusual and slightly suspicious. We’re never comfortable recommending unlicensed casinos to anybody, and given that there’s a chance that Red Dog Casino might turn out to be unlicenced, we’ll have to treat it as such and say that we don’t recommend it.

What are players saying about Red Dog Casino?

Here are our condensed / reader’s digest summaries of recent player reviews of Red Dog Casino.

  • 03-Mar-2024 by Mike:
I finally hit a big win of £1,500 on a game, but when I tried to withdraw, it was a nightmare. They required a complicated verification process involving printing and PDFs, and after a month of this, they only authorised £300 of my winnings. Two months later, I’ve still got £340 left in my account. It’s just not worth it if you win big. I advise not playing here. – source: Trustpilot
  • 01-Mar-2024 by TyTyBabey:
I signed up for a free chip offer but received nothing. Customer support claimed I had another account with my info, which wasn’t true. Despite proving my identity and escalating to a manager, they chose to believe the old account was mine because it had made a deposit. They ignored my requests to delete it, assuming fraud but doing nothing about it. My advice: avoid this casino. – source: Trustpilot

This casino is terrible, and you’ll lose your money quickly and frequently. Stay away. – source: Trustpilot
  • 25-Nov-2023 by Jimmy:
Red Dog is a scam. They charge a 15% fee on Bitcoin deposits, falsely claiming it’s a network fee. Withdrawals take forever, and their gaming service, Vi Gaming, manipulates live dealer games. Don’t open an account here. – source: Trustpilot
  • 09-Nov-2023 by Marjohn:
Stay away from this total scam. They will ask for your credit card information under false pretences. – source: Trustpilot
  • 03-Oct-2023 by Joshua:
After exceeding a bonus payout and trying to withdraw, I was caught in a week-long document verification hassle. They then tied my winnings to another bonus, demanding more deposits to release a meagre amount. Completely dishonest. – source: Trustpilot
  • 31-Jul-2023 by Brad:
Red Dog Casino is the worst. They stole my winnings, deactivated my account for no reason, and wasted my time without resolution. Customer service is disrespectful and unhelpful. Avoid this casino at all costs. – source: Trustpilot
  • 05-Jul-2023 by Mary:
It’s a total scam! After weeks of hassle, they only paid out £280 of my £2,500 winnings, claiming the rest was bonus money. This casino is not legitimate. – source: Trustpilot
  • 09-Jun-2023 by LadyBoss:
After two months of verifying documents and finally being able to cash out £600, they only paid £327 and demanded more waiting. They claimed it was their right to decide the payout amount. I strongly advise against using this site; it’s a complete rip-off. – source: Trustpilot
