Bingo Village
Bingo Village sister sites include Casino Castle, Slots.Ag, Bonus Bingo and Bingo Billy.
Bingo Village (bingovillage.com) is operated by Mangus Solutions Limited of Panama.
Bingo Village Sister Sites
BINGO VILLAGE IS NOT COVERED BY A UK GAMBLING COMMISSION LICENCE.
Bingo Village and its sister sites are evidently geared towards the North American audience, a detail prominently displayed on each site’s homepage where all cash values are listed in dollars. It’s likely that these sites are specifically tailored for Canadian players, given the legal restrictions surrounding online casinos in most parts of the United States. Mangus Solutions Limited, the company behind these sites, operates out of Panama, a jurisdiction where US laws don’t hold sway. The US might not want Bingo Village operating in its territory, but it has little control over the matter.
The same is true about the fact that Bingo Village is available in the UK. It doesn’t have a UK Gambling Commission licence, so it shouldn’t be, but it is. Having no UK Gambling Commission language means offering no basic protections to UK-based players, so we don’t condone the idea of UK-based players signing up to Bingo Village. For those outside the UK, though, here’s the scoop on the Bingo Village sister sites.
Bonus Bingo
As we begin this journey, we should tell you that the Bingo Village sister sites tend to have a stronger focus on bingo than on slots. However, for those who are keener on slot games, there’s a site tailored to your preference coming up later in our list. First, let’s discuss Bonus Bingo – a veteran in the bingo site world, which is a fact that you can unfortunately tell by looking at its dated and somewhat shabby layout. In the ‘About Us’ section on its homepage, Bonus Bingo humorously asks, “Does the world need another bingo site?” only to affirmatively answer its own question. Mangus Solutions Limited, the operator, believes there’s a dearth of high-quality bingo sites in the US and Canada. While this may hold some truth, the UK market is awash with bingo sites, many of which offer far more appealing aesthetics and rewards than Bonus Bingo.
Bingo Billy
Highlighting the global appeal of bingo, let’s take a look at another member of the Bingo Village sister sites family that’s devoted to the game. Bingo Billy is a venerable site in the non-UK bingo scene, having graced the online world for nearly two decades. This longevity is, again, somewhat reflected in its dated appearance. Bingo Billy claims to hold accolades such as being named ‘bingo site of the year’ five times by Which Bingo, although this claim couldn’t be independently confirmed. The site also asserts that it has been featured in television advertisements, another detail we couldn’t substantiate. However, the lack of UK TV adverts doesn’t necessarily preclude the possibility of its promotion in other countries. Known not only for its jackpot bingo rooms, Bingo Billy is equally famous for its array of free bingo rooms, adding to its appeal for bingo fans of all budgets and spending habits.
Casino Castle
You won’t find many casinos or iGaming sites like Casino Castle. Sure, there are plenty of casinos out there that either have “castle” in their name or use castle imagery, but how many of them are directly inspired by RPGs? We think the answer to that question might be “one,” meaning Casino Castle isn’t just unique among the Bingo Village sister sites – it might be unique in the wider iGaming world. Claiming with some justification to be North America’s most original casino site, Casino Castle promises players that they can build their own castles, take part in daily quests and adventures, defend their self-made kingdoms by winning royal treasure from others, and rank up from level to level with every spin. There’s so much going on that you could easily forget that this is an online casino, so make sure you don’t get distracted while you’re playing.
Slots.AG
If Casino Castle piqued your interest, Slots.ag might seem like it provides a similar experience on this platform, but it falls short in comparison. In fact, it falls short when it’s compared to any of the other Bingo VIllage sister sites. Casino Castle stands out as the most visually appealing and comprehensive iGaming site under the Mangus Solutions Limited umbrella. Although Slots.ag shares a focus on slots and casino gaming with Casino Castle, it’s significantly lacking in quality – especially from an aesthetic point of view. The design of Slots.ag is ugly and appears rather unprofessional, and its welcome bonuses lack the appeal found at Bingo Village. A quick glance at the Slots.ag logo gives a sense of the minimal effort invested in the website’s design – it has an outdated look that makes us think it might have been hastily put together a decade ago and has remained unchanged since.
Bingo Village Review 2024
Bingo Village claims to be the host of the world’s most original bingo community. We’re not quite sure what that means, but as we’ve seen from some of the Bingo Village sister sites, casinos and iGaming sites on this operator’s platform are prone to hyperbole. What’s clear, though, is that Bingo Village is an unashamedly bright and bold bingo site with some interesting promotions and the backing of a company that’s made waves overseas without ever (officially) entering the UK market. Bingo Village is off-limits to UK players, but does it have something to offer to those outside the UK? Let’s review.
Bingo Village Welcome Promotions
The welcome promotion advertised on the Bingo Village homepage claims that it’s available for “a limited time only,” but it’s been up for grabs for as long as we’ve been aware of the existence of the site, so we’re not especially worried that it might vanish soon. However, we are worried about the fact that its terms and conditions are unclear. New players are promised a five-stage matched deposit welcome, with a 200% matched deposit on their first deposit, 250% on deposit two, 300% on deposit three, 350% on deposit four and then a massive 500% on deposit five. However, the maximum and minimum qualifying deposits aren’t stated, and nor are the wagering requirements.
In a similar vein, the homepage of Bingo Village promises a £25 no-deposit bonus to everyone who registers an account but doesn’t provide the terms and conditions of that promotion either. There are obviously bonuses and perks available to new players at Bingo Village – it’s just a shame that the site doesn’t feel like telling us about them.
Other Promotions
On the “Promotions” page at Bingo Village, you’ll find a Daily Reload bonus listed next to the welcome bonus. This bonus can be claimed once per day and is a matched deposit. Deposits up to £25 get a 100% match, deposits of £26-£100 get a 150% match, and anything over £101 gets a 200% boost. The maximum benefit and the wagering requirement remain undeclared, but as a follow-up, if players go on to make a second deposit on the same day, they’ll get a 50% match on that deposit, too.
There are different promotions available every day of the week for those who want to use the casino at Bingo Village, but for those who come for the bingo, the peak of the ongoing bingo perks are to be found in the Roxy Room. Guaranteed jackpots are made available once per hour from 8pm to midnight every night, so someone is guaranteed a big win. The room is only open to players who’ve made a deposit within the previous thirty days.
Pros and Cons of Bingo Village
Pros: The Roxy Room is a great feature for any bingo site to have and is a good way of rewarding players who play regularly at the site. Some of the promotions sound interesting – especially that massive welcome promotion. Comprehensive customer support is offered via telephone, email and live chat.
Cons: The terms and conditions of the welcome promotion are nowhere to be seen, and the way things are worded in the FAQ could mean that the welcome bonus is so players can “trial” the website, and winnings can never be withdrawn. Speaking of withdrawals, all withdrawals are charged at £30, and turnaround times are undeclared. Worst of all, the Curacao eGaming licence that the site claims to be operating under has expired, so players don’t even have that minimal level of protection.
Top Games at Bingo Village
It would be churlish to say that the top game at Bingo Village is bingo, but it would also be accurate. The most popular room at the site seems to be the Cozy Care, which costs just one penny to play and is available throughout the day. Jackpots in that room can go as high as £100 per game, with a progressive jackpot that sometimes approaches £1000 also available. The Roxy Theatre Room, which we mentioned above, is the top-paying bingo room at Bingo Village, but is available only during the evening and only to players who’ve recently made a deposit.
While Bingo is at the heart of everything that Bingo Village does, the site also offers slots. By and large, these are the same slots that you’ll find at the Bingo Village sister sites. They’re not from big-name providers, and a lot of them seem generic. You can probably guess where the inspiration for the adventure-themed Diana Jones came from, for example, and it doesn’t take a great leap of imagination to figure out where the concept for Wild Wonka was borrowed from either.
Withdrawal Processing & Support
The withdrawal process at Bingo Village is, to be frank, a disaster. The site pays out once per week on Wednesdays. If your request for a withdrawal is made after 10am on a Wednesday, it won’t be reviewed until the following Wednesday. To make matters worse, all withdrawals are subject to a fee of at least £30, and the minimum withdrawal amount is £100. None of these terms are customer-friendly. If you still want to play at Bingo Village and withdraw funds after reading this, you can do so via Bitcoin, bank transfer or “Money Gram” only.
Customer Services & Licensing
Support is the one thing that we can give Bingo Village unreserved credit for. If you’d like to pick up the phone and speak to someone, you can do so by calling 1-855-615-0708. You’ll note that it’s an international number, so it’ll incur considerable charges if you call it from the UK. With that in mind, it’s more cost-effective to use the site’s live chat service or even to fire off an email to [email protected]
Licensing is the site’s major weakness. Bingo Village claims to hold a licence from Curacao eGaming, which wouldn’t be a guarantee of security or protection even if it were true because of the weakness of the regulator. However, Curacao eGaming’s website says that the URL for Bingo Village is unregistered, so the licence isn’t in force. We believe the same to be true of all the Bingo Village sister sites, and we consider it a major problem.
Bingo Village – The Verdict
The existence and global popularity of Bingo Village proves that while we tend to imagine bingo as a hobby particular to British bingo halls, it has fans all over the world. The British market is exceptionally well-served by great bingo sites, so there’s no reason for anyone in the UK to go in search of this one. Even if you’re outside the UK, we think there are reasons to be wary of Bingo Village, not least those abysmal withdrawal processing terms and the seemingly deceptive nature of the welcome bonuses.
