Playamo Sister Sites 2024

Lucky Dreams

Lucky Dreams logo

Lucky Dreams is Dama N.V’s glamour casino. All of us have our own idea of what glamour looks like, but for Dama N.V it’s the tropical island that serves as a backdrop for this casino’s homepage. Once you’ve peeled your eyes away from the attractive setting, the next thing you’re likely to notice is the casino’s welcome offer, which could be worth up to £2000 and bring you as many as two hundred free spins on selected slots. Note how the “L” in “Lucky” is actually an upside-down 7 in the casino’s logo. That’s a small but significant example of the amount of work that went into the branding of this Playamo Casino sister site. Very few of Dama N.V’s enormous range of online slots and casino websites are available to players in the UK, so the fact that this one is means that it’s a big priority to the company – and they’d love you to take a trip to the island.

Konung Casino

Konung Casino logo

We don’t know whether cryptocurrency has a long term future. It might be the way we all pay for everything a decade for now, or it might fizzle out and die. What we do know is that many online casinos – especially those that aren’t based in the UK – have started to accept it as a form of payment. For some casinos, being open to cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin is the factor they base their entire marketing strategy around. Konung Casino is among them. The site even features a guide explaining how to acquire Bitcoin so you can make deposits with it, and offers Bitcoin-specific promotions. Cryptocurrency aside, this is a Playamo Casino sister site with a fantasy warrior theme and a gaming catalogue made up mainly of games from Spinomenal. Konung Casino may be of particular interest to high rollers and those who like chasing big prizes, as the site promises that there’s always a seven-figure progressive jackpot up for grabs to those who are lucky enough.

Syndicate Casino

Syndicate Casino logo

Those of you who know about Playamo Casino are likely to know that Konung Casino and Lucky Dreams also exist and are also accessible from the UK. All three casinos are at about the same level of popularity. Syndicate Casino doesn’t enjoy the same reputation in the UK – but it is accessible. It focuses more on players from Australia and New Zealand than it does on the UK, but you should be able to make it work for you if you really want it to. We suppose the question is why you’d want to. The gangster theme is cool, but there’s nothing here that you wouldn’t find at Playamo Casino, and the design of the casino site is a little dated. Perhaps the ten-tier VIP program might make up for that if you’re able to make it to the higher levels. Syndicate Casino also stages regular “slot fights,” where customers playing one slot are pitted against customers playing another to see who can land the most wins. It’s entertaining, but no more so than the tournaments you’ll find on many other online slots casinos.

The Rest Of The Dama N.V Range

Dama N.V is one of the biggest casino networks based on Curacao. It has almost fifty casinos at the time of writing, and that number increases all the time. However, the casinos we’ve highlighted above – plus, of course, Playamo Casino – are the only ones that players in the UK can access. The rest of them are geographically restricted. We keep an eye on all of them, and we’ll let you know if that ever changes. For reference, though, here are a few of their best performers from elsewhere.

Can Playamo Casino Be Trusted?

trust score

★★★★★

Playamo Casino is a 2 Star trusted casino, here’s why:-

1. Website Design OK – we could live without the loading screen, which slows things down, but once the casino homepage is loaded it looks good and it’s easy to find your way around.
2. Game Providers EXCELLENT – Over 60 providers have their slots and games featured at Playamo, including most of the big names and several smaller providers you won’t see often elsewhere.
3. UK Commission Record N/A – Playamo Casino is not registered with the UK Gambling Commission. Instead, it’s licensed in Curacao. The Curacao license isn’t generally seen as a strong one.
4. Accept Cookies Bar YES – You’ll see a cookie acceptance notification at the bottom of the screen when you arrive at the casino.
5. National Advertising NO – Playamo Casino isn’t based in the UK, so it’s no real surprise that it’s never advertised in the UK.
6. TrustPilot Rating BELOW AVERAGE -The casino’s TrustPilot score is 2.4, but it’s attracted barely 20 reviews.
7. Owner Address NOT TRUSTED – Dama N.V is based in Curacao, which isn’t classed as a trusted location.
8. Wagering on Bonus HIGH – All bonus funds come with an x50 wagering requirement, which is higher than the industry average.
9. CS Rating POOR – The only means of contacting customer support is live chat. It isn’t clear whether customer service advisers are available 24/7.
10. Payment Methods GOOD – Most commonly-accepted payment methods are accepted at Playamo Casino including major debit cards, most big-name e-wallets, PaySafe card, and Bitcoin.
Overall TRUSTSCORE>>> ★★★★★ – 2/5 Stars
Playamo is not trusted. This low mark is down to a combination of the casino’s location, the authority that it’s licensed with, and the terms and conditions of its bonuses.

What are players saying about Playamo?

Here are our condensed / reader’s digest summaries of recent player reviews of Playamo.

  • 01-Jan-2022 by Jacinta:
I had a £10K win here and wanted to withdraw £4K immediately. It was in my bank account the next day. I had to re-send my ID documents a few times but once that was sorted there were no issues, and I got my money. – source: TrustPilot
  • 15-Nov-2021 by Jakob:
This is the worst casino ever. You can make visa deposits but you can’t withdraw back to your visa card. It’s a big joke, and you should stay away from the site. – source: TrustPilot
  • 30-Oct-2021 by Brian:
Don’t go anywhere near Playamo. They’ll do anything they can to get out of paying you your winnings. It’s an absolutely terrible casino. – source: TrustPilot
  • 19-Aug-2021 by Edward:
Contrary to what other people are saying, the games at Playamo are good and have high RTPs. I think people forget you need luck and patience to win. I enjoy playing here. – source: TrustPilot
  • 24-Feb-2021 by Carison:
This is a scam site, they scammed me yesterday. I was a new user and in order to claim their bonus I had to deposit which I did but I did not get it, after a while, I did a deposit again but still, they declined. – source: TrustPilot
  • 14-Dec-2020 by Amber:
The only good thing I can say about them is that they have games with good stability and that’s it. Their processes like withdrawal and deposit are trash. – source: TrustPilot
  • 13-Dec-2020 by Roberto:
In my opinion, I would never play on this again ever. It is just conning their players with fake promotional offers and bonuses. If you care about your money never deposit here. – source: TrustPilot
  • 12-Nov-2020 by Frank:
In my experience this is a great casino, don’t know why people are disgracing it. I had a wonderful time here and they did not cause me any kind of trouble. – source: AskGamblers
  • 27-Oct-2020 by Alice:
There is nothing good to talk about this online casino, I will suggest all of you stay far away from this casino. In my defence, their deposit process sucks like their withdrawal and I hate it here. – source: AskGambler
  • 18-Oct-2020 by Hugo:
The online casino is so annoying and difficult to understand. They always want you to get verified and they require every document to be confirmed. I wasted my time here and I regret it. – source: TrustPilot
  • 17-Oct-2020 by Kevin:
I joined this casino last year and I am a very old member of it. I had no issues with them, my time here is good and they are trustworthy too. Try it yourself and then speak. – source: AskGambler
  • 13-Oct-2020 by Oscar:
They have too many complicated ways to withdraw or deposit here, I tried to get a cashout but the long procedures of verification and proofs were too much. – source: TrustPilot
  • 25-Sept-2020 by Steve:
The site of this online casino is very good and its interface is very simple as well as easy to use. I enjoyed my time here but the thing this casino lacks is their withdrawal options are very limited. – source: AskGambler
  • 08-Aug-2020 by Amy:
They are just a bunch of frauds, scamming people with their fake bonus offers. I made a mistake by depositing here and it turned my life into a nightmare. Never deposit here. – source: TrustPilot

Playamo Review 2024

Playamo (www.playamo.com) is an online casino that boasts a catalogue of over 3,500 games. They promise plenty of promotions, quick payouts, and reliable customer support to keep their players happy – but do they live up to those promises?

New Player Welcome Offers

Playamo Casino has a two-stage welcome offer which involves matched deposits on a new player’s first two deposits at the site. The first is matched at 100% up to £100, and the second is matched at 200% up to £200. 150 free spins are distributed between the two deposits, but are only available on selected slots. Be wary of the wagering requirement for bonus funds, which is x50.

Monthly Promotions

The biggest reason to stick around at Playamo casino for the long term is its VIP scheme. Offering multi-stage VIP schemes is par for the course with Dama N.V casinos, but we could make a case for the one at Playamo Casino being the most attractive. There are ten tiers to the scheme, each represented by the mascot character of a popular online slots game. Get to level three (“Intermediate”) for example, and your mascot is the wolf from Pragmatic Play’s “Wolf Gold.” Make it all the way to the top at level eight (“Diamond”) and the mascot is John Hunter from the popular range of Pragmatic Play adventure slots that star this Indiana Jones-inspired character. Players unlock cash prizes and additional perks every time they progress from one tier to the next. As an example, getting to tier 8 nets you an instant cash reward of £1000.

Allegedly, anybody who makes it all the way to the tenth tier (“Godlike”) instantly wins a Ferrari 488 GTB. Call us cynical, but we can’t help but wonder if anyone’s ever won that prize, or if it’s even plausibly possible to make it to the tenth tier.

Pros and Cons

The pros of Playamo:

They accept Bitcoin on 1,500 of their games. This might be a niche appeal, but for those who care about such things, it’s likely to be a big draw.

Being connected to so many respected providers means that the live casino section of Playamo Casino is absolutely stacked., You’ll do well to find more options anywhere else.

The cons of Playamo:

The casino is based in Curacao. There have been numerous complaints about Curacao-based casinos not paying out winnings, and Curacao-based authorities doing nothing about it. Please don’t mistake this for us accruing Playamo of any shady business practices, because we’re not. We have no reason to suspect them of doing anything wrong, but it would help them enormously if they were to acquire an additional license from somewhere else.

Nobody should have to face an x50 wagering requirement when playing with bonus funds. It takes all the fun out of having the bonus. The industry average is around x35, and when casinos go higher than that you can’t help but feel that they just don’t want you to be able to withdraw your winnings.

Featured Slots and Casino Games

Playamo offers many games from over 60 developers such as Fantasma, Endorphina, and Greenjade. Top slots at the casino right now include:-

Deadwood by Nolimit City. This is one for the gunslingers. Featuring great visuals and an attractive Wild West theme, this slot features the innovative bonus side games that Nolimit City are so well known for and offers a reasonable RTP rate of 96.03%.

Playamo Deadwood

Pearl Beauty: Hold and Win is one of Playson’s hottest slots of the moment. The developer is better known for making classic and traditional-themed slots, but this slot proves that they can expand beyond that and come up with great concepts in the process. The “Hold and Win” mechanic has been a smash hit ever since Pragmatic Play made it the core of Wolf Gold, and it works as well here as it does anywhere else. The mystical, vaguely Oriental theme helps with the slot’s appeal too, as do the cute animals in the garden in the background of the slot. RTP, however, is a little low at 95.05%.

Unusually, Playamo Casino allows players to play slots for fun (as in free of charge) before spending money on them, so you can make your way around the entire collection finding out what you like and what you don’t like before putting any money down. Between this and the enormous selection of live dealer and casino games, we have to recognise that Playamo’s gaming catalogue is impressive.

Deposit and Withdrawal Methods

There isn’t a specific banking page at Playamo Casino, and the information they do provide about payments is a little vague. However, we can work out what they accept as a deposit method by looking at the many logods at the bottom of the casino’s homepage. Major debit cards are fine, as is the PaySafe card. Neosurf is there for electronic transfers, as is iDebit. The crypto processing logo confirms that the site accepts Bitcoin, and based on the language used elsewhere on the casino site we’d have to conclude that they would rather that you used this method than any other.

The casino pledges that withdrawals will always be processed within 24 hours, but also says that additional checks might sometimes be required and this could slow things down.

Customer Support and License

Players can connect with the Playamo customer support team by clicking on the speech bubble icon on the bottom right-hand corner of their screen. Playamo is operated by Dama N.V. They are licensed by Antillephone N.V. (license no. 8048/JAZ2020-013). At the risk of repeating ourselves once too often, this is a Curacao-based licensing body that isn’t held in the same high esteem as the regulatory bodies of the UK, Malta, or Gibraltar.

The Verdict

We’d be hesitant about spending our money with Playamo. That’s nothing to do with the casino itself – it’s all about the location. We’d say the same thing about any casino based in Curacao. Even if we could overlook that, though, we still wouldn’t be happy about the bonus wagering requirements. We’re entirely aware that some people don’t mind about the location, though, and they might not mind about the wagering terms either. If you’re one of them, then you’ll be more interested in the massive gaming library at Playamo Casino than anything to do with geography or regulation.

Playamo – The Quiet Casino

Socially Silent

On November 16th 2020, someone set up an official Facebook page for the Playamo casino. They chose a profile picture and a cover photo and wrote a very brief description of the casino for the benefit of visitors. We’re not sure what happened after that, but we can only assume someone either forgot the password for the account or got distracted by something else and then forgot they’d ever set the page up. We say that because the photos are the only things that have ever been posted on the Playamo Facebook page. It may as well not be there at all.

Someone also took the time to register a Twitter account for Playamo in May 2020 and posted one tweet, offering free spins and a signup bonus. The same must have happened again because one tweet is the sum total of all the activity the account has seen. The account has only three followers and, like the Facebook page, looks like it’s been abandoned.

A trip to YouTube tells us that there’s no official channel for Playamo, so the casino brand has probably never created a video advertisement for itself of any kind. In terms of self-promotion, Playamo is strangely silent.

Playamo Partners

Playamo has been online since 2016 and is one of a clutch of casino brands owned by Dama NV. Dama NV must think highly of the brand, though, as it’s become the centrepiece of an affiliated group of online casino brands known as Playamo Partners.

As of the last count, Playamo Partners markets and represents Bizzo Casino, Spinia Casino, Cookie Casino, Betchan Casino, and Bon Casino, as well as the obvious Playamo Casino. The affiliate program is connected to almost every major online slots and game provider and offers a revenue share commission scheme. Having a self-named affiliate scheme isn’t something that most online casinos can boast about, so the fact that Playamo was chosen for this one suggests that it might be the jewel in the Dama NV crown.

Trusting In Cryptocurrencies

Cryptocurrencies are here to stay. That much has been obvious for a very long time. The average level of understanding among the general public in the UK of what a cryptocurrency is and how it works isn’t great, but most people have at least heard of Bitcoin. That developing trend is of interest to companies that host and operate online slots websites because the more people start using Bitcoin, the more prudent it becomes to start offering Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies as an accepted method for payment and withdrawal. Playamo started accepting crypto payments a long time ago, as we covered earlier, but it’s gone a lot further than just accepting them

In 2016, Playamo invested two-and-a-half-million Euros into the Bitcoin market. The news was reported at the time as an investment made by Playamo directly rather than its parent company, so either the money came straight from the parent company’s Playamo-specific accounts, or the parent company hid behind Playamo because it wanted the casino website to get all the press coverage. Back then, the owner was Direx NV rather than Dama NV.

Most of the money went on technology that allowed the casino to handle cryptocurrency payments, although it also took on some cryptocurrency holdings and offered Bitcoin prizes to members throughout the following twelve months. In Spring 2017, Playamo bought a Ferrari with Bitcoin and then offered it as a prize to its VIP members in a closed competition.

Playamo Ferrari

Making The News

While Playamo doesn’t seem to engage in any direct marketing and keeps a low profile on social media, its name does sometimes make it into digital newspapers and other publications. There are media outlets out there who are happy to cover casino games and websites, and they frequently publish updated guidance as to who’s doing well and who’s not making the grade. We found Playamo’s name in a few places recently, and always for positive reasons.

In November 2021, Playamo was named “Best Bitcoin Casino in Australia” by the Herald in Scotland. Quite why a Scottish newspaper cares about which Bitcoin casinos Australians can access is unknown, but this is precisely the kind of accolade Playamo had in mind when it spent all that money investing in Bitcoin. The Herald spoke fondly of Playamo’s large and diverse game collection, history of enormous jackpot payouts, and speedy withdrawals. It took issue with the comparative lack of table games at the site, but not so much that it had second thoughts about giving out the award. Playamo was named as the fourth best online casino overall.

There have been passing entries elsewhere, too. In August 2021, the Observer named Playamo the third-best online slots casino in Australia based on popularity in the market, payout percentages, user-friendliness, and variety of casino games. The strangest place we found a publication talking about Playamo was World Boxing News, which published a full review of the site in March 2021. We can only assume that this was a paid-for product placement article given the unlikeliness of it ending up there any other way! As with the others, the focus of the World Boxing News article was Playamo’s performance in Australia. That underlines the importance of the Aussie market to Playamo and also reminds us that for all its apparent qualities, we still can’t register with Playamo from the UK.

Where Next?

There seems to have been a slight disconnect at Playamo in the past few years. The abandonment of the social media accounts is strange. The absence of any clearly-visible advertising is even stranger. This doesn’t seem like the same company that, only five years ago, sank more than two million Euros into Bitcoin technology and gave away a Ferrari as a prize to its members. We’re not sure whether this new, more cautious approach has something to do with the transfer of the brand from Direx NV to Dama NV, but it wouldn’t be out of line to suggest that the casino has been quieter since the takeover.

We have no idea whether Playamo will ever become available in the UK, but it would be nice to see it reclaim its former glories further afield at the very least.
