BOGOF Bingo Sister Sites

There aren’t as many BOGOF Bingo sister sites as there used to be. Grace Media has been trimming its range since moving from Manchester to Gibraltar. From a platform that once boasted more than one hundred iGaming sites, only around forty remain. Most of the sites that have been closed down were bingo sites, which is even worse news if you’re here looking for BOGOF Bingo sister sites because more bingo is presumably what you were looking for. Nevertheless, here are the best of the remaining sites on the shrinking network.

Lucky Ladies Bingo

Lucky Ladies Bingo logo

Unless you skipped the paragraph above, you’ll already know that most of the former BOGOF Bingo sister sites that offered bingo have been closed down by the operator. There are a few hold-outs, though, and of those hold-outs, your next best bet for playing bingo on this iGaming network is Lucky Ladies Bingo. It may no longer be en vogue to make bingo or casino sites aimed specifically at female or male players, but those that managed to establish themselves before tastes and styles changed are still alive and kicking – and Lucky Ladies Bingo is one of them. As an iGaming site, though, it’s a little dated. Despite having “bingo” as part of its name, it prioritises slots on its homepage. If you want to play bingo, you’ll have to select the appropriate option from the menu options at the top of the homepage. When you do so, you’ll find that there’s a smaller selection of bingo rooms here than there are at BOGOF Bingo.

Planet Rock Casino

Planet Rock Casino logo

Planet Rock Casino won’t offer you any bingo. However, it will offer you an iGaming experience unlike anything you’ll encounter at any of the other BOGOF Bingo sister sites. Grace Media doesn’t have many branded casino sites, but the popularity of Planet Rock Casino makes up for the operator’s lack of star names elsewhere. This, as we’re sure you’ve already gathered, is the official casino site of Planet Rock Radio, which is one of the popular radio stations in the UK for those who like their music a little louder and heavier than mainstream radio allows. That spirit of rock is reflected on the homepage of the casino, which showcases the latest and greatest officially-licensed slots and casino games from the biggest legends in the history of heavy metal and rock. From Guns n Roses to Ozzy Osbourne and Motorhead to Jimi Hendrix, they’re all represented – and they’re just the tip of the iceberg.

Belgravia Casino

Belgravia Casino logo

Belgravia Casino does a very good job of making itself look and feel like the official casino site of a prestigious brick-and-mortar casino in Belgravia, London. It isn’t, though – there’s no real-world Belgravia Casino. All we have is this online casino, but it still tries to give us a touch of the luxury experience by offering all new players a welcome promotion worth up to £500 plus a decent allocation of bonus spins to go with the cash. The wagering requirements across the board at BOGOF Bingo sister sites tend not to be too cumbersome, and Belgravia Casino isn’t an exception to that rule. From its live casino to its steady supply of new slots, Belgravia Casino has plenty to offer and lays its selection out very well, but there’s one thing missing. You can probably guess where we’re going with this – Belgravia Casino doesn’t offer any bingo. Your options among the BOGOF Bingo sister sites are pretty limited if that’s all you want from them.

Slots Jungle

Slots Jungle logo

Some casino networks clone their casinos and iGaming sites to bulk up their range. That approach results in multiple near-identical casinos all sitting under the same umbrella, with nothing to pick between them. That problem doesn’t exist with the BOGOF Bingo sister sites, which are, with a few exceptions, entirely different from one another. Slots Jungle couldn’t look less like Belgravia Casino if it tried, but it’s also not quite as generous with its welcome promotions. Not all players are motivated by or care about promotions, but if you’re someone who does, that’s a factor worth bearing in mind. Also be wary of the disconnect between the welcome promotion offered on the landing page of Slots Jungle and the welcome promotion offered on the “promotions” tab of the homepage because they’re not the same. That’s a bad oversight on the part of whoever’s responsible for making sure Slots Jungle stays up-to-date and consistent. We probably don’t need to mention this, given the casino’s name, but Slots Jungle doesn’t offer bingo.

Play UK

Play UK logo

The snappily-titled Play UK has a cleaner and more modern look than most of the BOGOF Bingo sister sites, which suggests that it might be intended as one of the flagships of the Grace Media casino family. The network doesn’t have a clear figurehead or flagship site, so Play UK is as good a choice as any. We say that even though it has a weaker welcome promotion than any of the other BOGOF Bingo sister sites we’ve looked at. The site makes up for that by having an expanded library of live casino games and slots, and making its games portfolio easy to browse. There are no distracting bells or whistles at Play UK – it’s a very businesslike casino site, and everything on it has a purpose. At the risk of stating the obvious, the “things on it” don’t include bingo, with bingo now being the iGaming equivalent of an endangered species among the BOGOF Bingo sister sites.

BOGOF Bingo Review

If you don’t know what “BOGOF” stands for in the name of BOGOF Bingo, you don’t go to enough supermarkets. It means “Buy One Get One Free.” “Buy One Get One Free Bingo” is too long a name for a modern iGaming site, so we’ve got BOGOF Bingo instead. It’s the only remaining bingo site on the Grace Media platform, which makes it a survivor. None of its promotions actually resemble a “buy one get one free” offer, which makes the choice of name a little odd, so let’s start this review by looking at the promotions it does offer instead.

BOGOF Bingo sister sites homepage

BOGOF Bingo Welcome Promotions

The welcome promotion at BOGOF Bingo is likely to look relatively familiar to you if you remember playing bingo at the BOGOF Bingo sister sites back when such a thing was possible. In return for joining BOGOF Bingo and depositing £10, new players get a £10 bingo bonus, fifty free spins on fluffy Favourites by Eyecon, and a week of free bingo in a special room that’s only available to new players.

The bonus funds attached to this promotion come with an x10 wagering requirement, which is pretty high for a bingo bonus, and the maximum conversion is x4 (so £40). The wagering requirement for any free spins winnings on Fluffy Favourite is also higher than the UK average at x40. For the sake of comparison, there are bingo sites out there that impose only x3 or x4 wagering requirements on bingo bonuses.

Ongoing Promotions

Most of the other promotions you’ll find at BOGOF Bingo are short-lived. At the time we wrote this review, for example, there were promotions offering five free spins per day, up to one hundred free spins in return for specific deposit amounts, and additional free spins offers attached to specific slots. However, each of those promotions was scheduled to finish at the end of the current month, after which they’ll presumably be replaced by something new. That means you should always check the promotions page of BOGOF Bingo yourself when you arrive at the site.

In addition to the above, BOGOF Bingo promises ongoing rewards for loyal players. These include matched bonuses, win boosts, cash prizes and bonus spins. There doesn’t appear to be a formal VIP reward scheme, though, nor any information about how players might qualify for any of these loyalty perks. The link we were invited to click to find out more took us back to the promotions page.

Pros and Cons of BOGOF Bingo

Pros: If you want to play bingo at a Grace Media iGaming site, your options are either BOGOF Bingo or Lucky Ladies Bingo. That means BOGOF Bingo has something close to a unique selling point. It also has 24-hour customer care through live chat, which is a definite positive.

Cons: The promotions that are offered at BOGOF Bingo have uncompetitive terms and conditions when compared to similar promotions at other bingo sites. The worst thing about BOGOF Bingo, though, is its withdrawal processes. You can find out more about those by reading the relevant section later in this review but suffice to say you won’t be able to get your hands on your winnings quickly.

Top Games at BOGOF Bingo

Unlike a great deal of modern iGaming sites that claim to be bingo sites but actually focus on slots or other forms of iGaming, BOGOF Bingo is genuinely serious about bingo. It makes the game a priority and highlights all of its best rooms on its homepage. There are plenty of options here, no matter how many balls you like to play your bingo with or what your budget is.

On average, a new bingo room opens at BOGOF Bingo every thirty seconds. You’ll never have to wait around for very long for the action to start. Ticket prices start at a single penny in the budget rooms and go up to the lines of 25p in the Jackpot Room. The Zoom Room is good for a fast game if you don’t have time for a full one, and themed rooms like Boombox and Blossom Blast offer interesting aesthetics even if they don’t offer anything genuinely new or different.

Withdrawal Processing & Support

The vague pledges made in the BOGOF Bingo FAQ about withdrawal processing are our least favourite things about the site. There are three ways of getting a withdrawal out of BOGOF Bingo; debit card, PayPal, or Trustly. Other e-wallets aren’t supported, and no instant banking methods other than Trustly are supported either. If you ask for a debit card withdrawal, you’ll be waiting at least two working days for it. You could, however, find yourself waiting five working days. A whole week for something as simple as a debit card withdrawal is far too long. Even PayPal and Trustly are slow, with withdrawals arriving after 24 hours at best and three to five working days later at worse. Again, there’s no reason for the process to be so slow.

Customer Support & Licensing

You can’t pick up the phone and call BOGOF Bingo, and you can’t send them an email either. However, you can contact the site’s support team through live chat at any time of the day or night, and you can use the contact form to send a long-form message instead if you so desire. If you’d rather text someone about your issue, you can send messages to 07360542081.

BOGOF Bingo holds a UK Gambling Commission licence through Grace Media (Gibraltar) Limited in its capacity as the casino’s owner and operator. The same licence covers all the BOGOF Bingo sister sites and can be found under account number 57869. It’s a clean licence with no fines or other disciplinary actions associated with it.

BOGOF Bingo – The Verdict

BOGOF Bingo is an OK bingo site. It’s no more or less than that. The chance to do something quirky or original with the “buy one get one free” aspect of its name hasn’t been taken, which is a shame. The bingo rooms that the site provides are all fine, but the promotions lack sparkle or originality. Given that this is the last “major” bingo site on the operator’s platform, we can’t help but feel that it should be slightly better than it is. It’s now awful, but it’s a long way from being spectacular.
