DBOSSES CASINO IS NOT COVERED BY A UK GAMBLING COMMISSION LICENCE

The first thing we need to tell you about dbosses Casino is that we don’t keep making spelling mistakes with its name – it’s really called “dbosses,” and the lack of a capital letter at the start is a styling choice made by the casino. The second thing we need to tell you about dbosses is that it belongs to a company that doesn’t have a UK Gambling Commission licence, but allows players from the UK to register and play. That means that if you’re one of our UK readers, you’re not safe from a regulatory point of view if you play at any of the dbosses Casino sister sites. You should only stay on this page and check out these casinos if you’re not in the UK.

Rizz Casino

Rizz Casino

Young people don’t use the word “charisma” when they’re discussing someone’s personality or charm anymore. They use the word “Rizz.” That, in a nutshell, is the idea behind Rizz Casino. Our issue with it is that the idea hasn’t been executed very well. There are some big and bold casinos among the dbosses Casino sister sites, many of which have expressive personalities. Rizz Casino isn’t one of them. In fact, it has one of the plainest and most conservative themes and interfaces you’ll find anywhere on the Starscream Limited platform. There was an opportunity to capitalise the name here, and the operator has missed it. It’s not all bad news, though – the name “Rizz Casino” might be something of a fumble, but the promotions that the casino has to offer are above average. The welcome promotion, in particular, is worth a look if you’re motivated by bonuses.

Simsino

Simsino

Simsino Casino is, in a lot of ways, the casino that Rizz Casino could and should have been. On a platform that’s full of good-looking casino sites, Simsino comes close to taking the cake with an Art Pop-inspired aesthetic. The graphics on the Simsino homepage make the casino look like a fun place to play, and that’s half the battle when you’re trying to persuade new players to give your iGaming site a try. There’s better news to come about this casino, though – it’s more than just a pretty face. If you choose to avail yourself of the sign-up offer that the casino offers, you won’t have to deal with any wagering requirements. Every bonus that Simsino offers comes wager-free, which is something that very few of the other dbosses Casino sister sites can replicate. For that reason alone, it’s easily among the operator’s best sites.

Kaulana Casino

Kaulana Casino

Kaulana is the Hawaiian word for “popular,” so Kaulana Casino literally means “Popular Casino.” That’s an odd claim or boast to make about an iGaming site as opposed to “best,” “top,” or something else that reflects the casino’s quality. Until 2024, Kaulana Casino was known as Kahuna Casino. We’re not sure what prompted the change, but in every way other than the name, the casino has remained the same. Hawaiian themes aren’t rare, but as always with the dbosses Casino sister sites, every effort has been made to make the theme look good and complement the experience at the site. Speaking of complementary experiences, it’s possible to get a small bonus with the first ten deposits you make as a new player at Kaulana Casino. Some players might feel that the welcome promotion is strung out for longer than it needs to be, but plenty of others will appreciate the little perks.

Wunderwins

Wunderwins Casino logo

When we spoke about Rizz Casino before, we spoke about it as a casino that failed to live up to the promise it makes in its name. We don’t think it’s a bad casino – just a plain one. Wunderwins, on the other hand, is miles off the standards set by the best of the dbosses Casino sister sites when it comes to quality. From its plain interface to its confusing bonuses, Wunderwins just doesn’t seem like a good time. We don’t mind a plain-looking casino so long as the content is good, but while Wunderwins Casino offers all the same slots and games as its sister sites, the package that it wraps them in just isn’t as appealing. There are other basic weaknesses at the site too, including the fact that it doesn’t feature a banking page. Withdrawal policy changes from casino to casino on this network, so the absence of such a page is a major hindrance.

dbosses Casino sister sites Wunderwins

Lucky10 Casino

Lucky10 Casino

Lucky10 is another of the lower-ranking dbosses Casino sister sites when it comes to aesthetics. It’s not that it’s ugly – you can see from the screenshot below that it’s well-designed and features high-quality graphics – but there are plenty of Starscream Limited casinos that take it to the next level when it comes to themes, graphics and concepts. When it’s pitted against the likes of Anarchy Casino or X7 Casino, Lucky10 Casino simply doesn’t measure up. It’s also a little bit shy when it comes to promotions. There’s mention of a welcome promotion on the Lucky10 Casino homepage, but you have to venture to the promotions page to find out what the offer actually involves. This is nowhere near the worst casino on the Starscream platform, but it’s not in the top five either. If it were a football team, it would be stuck deep in the mid-table battle.

dBosses Casino Review 2024

We have absolutely no idea why dbosses Casino is so called, or why it styles its name like that. When spoken aloud, it sounds a bit like “the bosses,” so perhaps that’s the idea. However, we do recognise the font used on the casino’s homepage. It’s the same one that’s used in the Grand Theft Auto series of video games, so perhaps the “boss” in question here is a mob boss. In stark contrast to many of its sister sites, dbosses is a mean, moody, black-and-white casino that favours content over flashy graphics. The washed-out theme won’t be for everybody, but let’s see if the casino can find other ways to charm us.

dbosses casino sister sites homepage

dbosses Casino Welcome Offer

The entire space above the fold on the dbosses homepage is used to advertise the casino’s welcome promotion, which is advertised as £2000 plus two hundred bonus spins. By the standards of the Starscream Limited casino platform, that’s a big offer. You have to crack open the promotions page to find the full details, though, and when you do, you’ll find that the bonus is split into three. It’s a 100% match up to £500 on your first deposit, with fifty free spins attached. Second deposits are matched at 50% up to £500, and come with another fifty free spins. Finally, third deposits are matched at 50% again up to £1000, with the final one hundred free spins attached. That means you’ll have to do a fair bit of spending to unlock all the bonus cash. The minimum qualifying deposit is always £20, and the associated wagering requirement is x35.

Ongoing Promotions

There are more promotions advertised at dbosses than there are at almost any other Starscream Limited casinos, but most of the focus goes on the casino’s VIP scheme. You’ll have to squint at the VIP page a little to fully understand the scheme, because it turns out that the Grand Theft Auto font isn’t all that easy to read when you shrink it down. Players climb through the ranks of the scheme by accruing loyalty points, with level one (“Associate”) unlocking at the forty-point mark. Players at that level get between 2% and 6% cashback on losses. Level 2 (“Soldier”) unlocks at two hundred points, and cashback increases to between 7% and 9%. Six hundred points is the entry level for “Caporegime,” with cashback of up to 11%. From there, players become “Consigliere” for up to 20% cashback at one thousand points, “Underboss” for up to 22% at one thousand six hundred points, and finally “Boss” at the twenty thousand point mark for 25% cashback. Other perks advertised include personal account management, personalised rewards, higher withdrawal limited, and fast-tracked withdrawals.

While the scheme sounds detailed, it’s impossible to say if it offers good value for money or not because it doesn’t tell us how much we need to spend to unlock loyalty points. The exchange rate of pounds to points at other casinos on this network is dreadful, so we fear that it’s the same at dbosses. The fact that the casino doesn’t see fit to tell us is a worry. We’re also reluctant to namecheck the other promotions at the casino because we fear that they might be out of date. We wrote this review in mid-March, and the dbosses 31-day Christmas promotion from the previous year was still listed as active and valid.

Pros and Cons of dbosses Casino

Pros: If you’re into video games, the theme of dbosses Casino is very cool. The name is a little awkward, but all the little (and unofficial) Grand Theft Auto tie-ins make up for it. The welcome promotion that the casino offers is fair and balanced, with decent amounts of bonus cash available if you’re prepared to make the necessary investment. In contrast to some of its sister sites, dbosses does a good job of showcasing its portfolio of slots.

Cons: There’s no way of knowing whether or not the casino’s VIP scheme is any good. The rewards are mostly unspecified and unclear, and the actions required to gain loyalty points aren’t explained. Some of the other promotions advertised on the casino website appear to be out of date. The casino breaks UK laws by allowing access to UK players without having a UK Gambling Commission licence.

Top Games at dbosses Casino

All of the Starscream Limited casinos have access to a library of more than three thousand casino games but some of them are oddly shy about showing their collections off. dbosses Casino doesn’t make that mistake. There are plenty of slots on show on the casino’s homepage, and the site has also found some space below that to briefly discuss its selection of live casino options. Blackjack, roulette, baccarat and wheel of fortune games are all available to be played against your fellow players with real dealers. The slots remain the casino’s pride and joy, though.

It looks to us like the slots on the dbosses Casino homepage are regularly changed and refreshed, but the top slots game at the time of our visit was Money Train 3 by Relax Gaming. In fact, Relax Gaming creations made up the entire top row of slots at the casino, with Hex, Zombie Circus and Dead Riders Trail also in the spotlight. The best works of other providers are also available, though, as evidenced by the inclusion of Pragmatic Play’s Gates of Olympus and Betsoft’s Wilds of Fortune on the row beneath, next to Winds of Wealth (also by Betsoft) and Thai Blossoms (a Betsoft hat-trick).

Withdrawal Processing and Support

Given that all of the dbosses Casino sister sites belong to the same operator, you’d expect them all to have the same withdrawal policies. They don’t, though, and we find that weird. At dbosses, you can claim instant withdrawals if you have an e-wallet held with Neteller, MiFinity or Skrill. Alternatively, all cryptocurrency withdrawals are instant. No timelines are provided for any of the other accepted withdrawal methods, which is a little disappointing, and it doesn’t look like withdrawals to debit cards are processed at all.

Customer Support and Licensing

The one and only way of getting in touch with customer service at dbosses Casino is by using the live chat service. That shouldn’t be a problem given the fact that the service is 24/7, but it’s still a worry not to have a backup, like an email address or even a contact form. The only iGaming licence that covers dbosses is the one that Starscream Limited holds with Canada’s Kahnawake Gaming Commission. It’s a very lightly-regarded licence, and it’s as good as useless to anybody outside Canada. At the risk of stating the obvious, the Kahnawake Gaming Commission can’t help you if you’re in the UK and you have problems with this casino. All of the dbosses Casino sister sites are subject to the same licence.

dbosses Casino – The Verdict

Part of the point of dbosses Casino is that it’s supposed to look slick and cool in a way that will appeal to Grand Theft Auto fans, and it achieves that aim. It does a good job of rolling out the red carpet with its welcome promotion, and it’s not out of the question that the VIP rewards are good – we’d just appreciate it if the casino did more to tell us. On the flipside, there are fewer instant withdrawal methods at dbosses than there are at some of its sister sites, and the same licensing problem that applies to all of the Starscream Limited casinos also applies here – the casino is operating in territories that it doesn’t have legal permission to operate in, and that’s a black mark. We can’t recommend it until that changes.

What are players saying about dbosses?

Here are our condensed / reader’s digest summaries of recent player reviews of dbosses Casino.

  • 26-Oct-2023 by Niklas:
Ever since dbosses changed their licensing, it’s been downhill. I used to trust them completely, but now payouts have stopped They’ve transitioned from reliable to dodgy with their new license. It’s been ten agonising days of the same excuses and no progress on my withdrawal requests. I’ve seen a slew of negative reviews echoing my disappointment. A word to the wise – if you win, don’t expect to see your money. – source: Trustpilot
  • 13-Sept-2023 by Asddf:
Dbosses lures you in with daily deposit bonuses, but don’t be fooled – big wins are a rarity here. My advice? Save your time and money and look elsewhere. – source: Trustpilot
  • 29-Mar-2023 by Delicious and Healthy:
I’m baffled by all the negative feedback because my experience with dbosses was seamless, especially regarding payouts – swift and trouble-free. I’ve reached level 4, snagged £100, which I then turned into £3200, and saw no issues with the payout. Sure, there have been off days, but overall, I’m more than satisfied and currently in the black with this casino. – source: Trustpilot
  • 25-Oct-2022 by David:
I regret to inform you that dbosses falls short of being a trustworthy casino. From my experiences and what I’ve observed, there’s rampant deception at play here. – source: Trustpilot
  • 22-Oct-2022 by Genesis:
Heed my warning and stay away from dbosses – their bonus terms are dubious at best and deceitful at worst. – source: Trustpilot
  • 12-Aug-2022 by Dennis:
I echo the sentiments of others: dbosses isn’t worth your time. Deposited £20 and initially everything seemed fine, but just when you think you’re winning, they hit you with the max cashout terms. It felt prearranged, especially when a slot suddenly paid out big, coinciding with the bonus terms ending. Steer clear and save yourself from disappointment. – source: Trustpilot
  • 12-Mar-2022 by Annelies:
Had an awful time playing at dbosses. They refused to pay out my large win, and then had the audacity to email me claiming I was only entitled to half. To add insult to injury, I’ve still not received any funds. A warning to all – avoid this place. – source: Trustpilot
