Kaiyun Sister Sites 2024

6686 Sports

6686 Sports logo

6686 Sports burst onto the scene – insofar as that expression is appropriate to use with any of the Kaiyun sister sites – in 2023. It announced itself, as is so often the case with the betting sites on this platform, by sponsoring the shirt of a Premier League football team. However, 6686 Sports wasn’t considered an important enough brand by its operator to land a premium main shirt sponsorship deal. Instead, it was restricted to the sleeve of the Wolverhampton Wanderers home shirt – visible, certainly, but not exactly glamorous. The same can be said of the 6686 Sport website, which is plain even by the low standards of the betting versions on this network. We have no problem believing that 6686 Sports is a big deal in its native Vietnam, but the UK version of the site that TGP Europe Limited operates is very bland.

Fun88

Fun88 logo

If you’re a Premier League football fan, you’re more likely to have heard of Fun88 than you are of any of the other Kaiyun sister sites. That’s all down to the shirt that the brand appeared on until the beginning of the 2023/2024 season – the famous black-and-white stripes of Newcastle United. As a brand, Fun88 has the good fortune to land a deal with Newcastle at the exact same time that Saudi investors swept into the club and turned its fortunes around. When Newcastle qualified for the UEFA Champions League for the first time in a generation, they did so with the Fun88 logo on their shirts. The sponsorship has since ended, but Fun88 remains involved with the Magpies as the club’s official Asian betting partner. Given that Asia is the target market for Fun88, it’s a deal that makes sense to both parties.

Duelbits

Duelbits Casino logo

None of the Kaiyun sister sites were made with the UK market in mind. Each of them is targeted at a specific market, either in the Far East or North America, and the fact that they’re available in the UK is down to TGP Europe Limited’s location and the possibility that the watered-down UK versions of the sites might still get traffic because of their sponsorships. Duelbits is a brand without sponsorships, so it’s tempting to see it as one of the lesser brands on the operator’s platform. However, we’re assured that Duelbits is a big deal in certain parts of North America. The presence of a man in full gridiron gear on the homepage of the Duelbits website is a not-so-subtle hint about where the Duelbits brand makes its money. It’s hard to make a case that it holds anything like the same degree of appeal for UK-based players.

Stake.com

Stake logo

If Fun88 isn’t the most familiar of the Kaiyun sister sites to you, it’ll likely be Stake instead. The site (and brand) is more commonly referred to as Stake.com than just as “Stake,” and its handwriting-style logo has adorned the shirt of many an English football club. Stake.com was the official sponsor of Watford back when the Hornets were a Premier League club, but since those days ended, Stake.com has switched its allegiance to Everton. Its sponsorship of the Toffees is arguably the most high-profile of the deals that Stake.com has done to date. Even with that said, though, there’s still nothing at Stake.com that you won’t find at any of the other TGP Europe Limited sites. They’re nothing more than cloned versions of each other, stamped with a different logo but offering the same basic range of services – and there’s an emphasis on the word “basic” in that sentence.

Betvision

Betvision logo

If any of the Kaiyun sister sites ought to offer something different from the rest, it’s BetVision. Without a single exception, every other betting site on this operator’s platform was built to order by a white-label partner of TGP Europe Limited – usually a white-label partner based in the Far East with an audience over there. BetVision, on the other hand, was created in-house by TGP Europe Limited and is run by the company without any input from anybody else. That means TGP Europe could have made BetVision radically different from the rest of the Kaiyun sister sites if they’d wanted to, perhaps showing us what they’re truly capable of. Instead, they opted to create yet another clone of all the sites they already have. What’s the point of BetVision? What purpose does the site serve? Who’s likely to come looking for this site and register to play at it? These are questions for which we have no answers.

Kaiyun Review 2024

The Kaiyun brand appeared in the UK before the Kaiyun website did, which is a fact as strange as it is true. Nottingham Forest needed a shirt sponsor for the beginning of the 2023/2024 English Premier League season, and Kaiyun stepped in at short notice. While the UK version of the Kaiyun website sprang up shortly after that, that isn’t the “real” Kaiyun. The true Kaiyun brand serves customers in the Far East, but as a UK-facing website, we’ll be reviewing the UK version. Let’s see how it compares to the other TGP Europe sites.

Kaiyun sister sites homepage

Kaiyun Welcome Offer

We could have left this section blank. Kaiyun doesn’t have any welcome promotions. If you look around the Kaiyun sister sites, you’ll find that the same is true of all of them – it’s just not something that this operator does as a matter of policy. We question the wisdom of that. It’s virtually unheard of in the modern market for a sports betting brand to offer a new player a free bet or two (or even three) as a way of bringing them through the door and thanking them for joining. Sites that don’t do it are made to look stingy by comparison, so our first impression of Kaiyun is that the site is stingy. That’s not a great start.

Ongoing Promotions

Kaiyun starts off stingy and stays that way throughout your time with the site. The site is so strongly targeted at sports bettors that we’re not really sure why you’d try to join it for any other reason, but just in case you’re tempted to sign up and make use of its limited casino, be aware that it has no bonuses, perks or promotions of any kind attached to any of the slots or games in it. It’s a totally bonus-free experience.

In truth, the situation with regard to ongoing sports betting promotions is little better. There’s a “features” page on the website, but the page offers nothing other than a live cash-out feature, a custom bet-builder, and a couple of ways of enhancing accumulator bets. We’re not saying that these things aren’t useful, but they’ve been provided as standard at most decent sports betting websites for a good decade now. As such, advertising them as “features” in the way that Kaiyun does is a little misleading.

Pros and Cons of Kaiyun

Pros: We can think of one positive of playing at Kaiyun, and one only. This is a good site for you to choose if you hate bonuses, don’t want to worry about other promotions, and simply want to place a basic bet and then win or lose and collect your money. Kaiyun’s bare-bones approach is perfect for that type of player, and if you belong to that category, you’ll probably appreciate the way that Kaiyun does business.

Cons: We’ve named nearly all the cons of playing here already. The lack of bonuses makes the brand come across as boring and mean-spirited. The lack of ongoing perks means players don’t have much of a reason to stick around. As you keep reading below, you’ll find out that Kaiyun also offers poor customer service and slow withdrawals. There are too many things wrong with this site for it to be considered a good option.

Top Games at Kaiyun

We’ve stressed the point that Kaiyun is a sports betting site first and foremost, so trying to assess it on the quality of the other games that it offers is neither relevant nor fair. However, players who care about such things should know that Kaiyun is fairly well-stocked when it comes to slots and other games. The live casino contains modern game show titles, there’s a handily-stocked instant win scratch card section, and plenty of good providers contribute to the small but high-quality selection of slots.

As a sports betting site, Kaiyun opts for a strange order of importance when it comes to the sports that it covers. Football is given the top spot in terms of visibility, but you’ll see American football, basketball and even ice hockey before you see any other traditional British sports. Cricket and rugby are both covered, but they’re quite some way down the long list. Anyone who’s on the lookout for horse racing can forget it – Kaiyun doesn’t cover it at all.

Withdrawal Processing and Support

You have some choice when it comes to how you’d like to receive your winnings from Kaiyun, but not very much. If you’d rather stick to a debit card, it has to be Mastercard or Visa – there’s no option for Maestro. If you prefer to use e-wallets, you can only use Neteller or Skrill. If you want to use any other brand, card or method, you’re out of luck – Kaiyun has no further choice. To make things worse, a standard turnaround time of five business days is quoted for all withdrawals. That makes Kaiyun painfully slow when you compare it to the best sports betting sites available in the UK.

Customer Support and Licensing

Basic issues like account verification and password retrieval can be conducted via automatic processes at Kaiyun, which is handy. If your query is more specific and you need to talk to a human, though, you’ll be waiting a while. All you can do is use the contact form or email [email protected] with a quoted turnaround time of 24 hours for responses. Much like the withdrawals, that’s way too slow to be competitive in the current iGaming era.

As a TGP Europe Limited betting site, Kaiyun is covered by UK Gambling Commission licence number 38898. The same licence covers all of the Kaiyun sister sites, but carries notice of a fine from February 2023. You can find more information about the fine and why it was issued in the “Trust Score” table above this review.

Kaiyun – The Verdict

We’re sure Kaiyun is a huge deal in the Far East. We know it must be because of the sheer number and high profile of the brand ambassadors that the international version of Kaiyun has, including the likes of Alessandro Del Piero. The UK version of Kaiyun, however, is a damp squib. It’s a clone of the many TGP Europe Limited sites that already exist, and offers nothing that you can’t already find on those other sites – which isn’t very much. It’s as basic as sports betting websites come in the current decade, but its quality of customer support belongs to the previous decade. Put simply, it’s not great.
