SPINBOOKIE IS NOT COVERED BY A UK GAMBLING COMMISSION LICENCE

It’s possible to load the Spinbookie homepage from an address in the UK, and it’s also possible to register and play at the site if you’re a UK player. None of that should be happening, though. Spinbookie doesn’t have a UK Gambling Commission licence, so access to players in the UK should be blocked. It holds licences from other authorities, but the licences are sufficient to make Spinbookie or any of the Spinbookie sister sites safe for our readers in the UK. Therefore, you should only take your interest in these sites further if you’re not in the UK.

Supacasi Casino

Supacasi Casino

This cheerful, cat-themed casino with an oriental twist is generally seen as the best of the Spinbookie sister sites by most observers. However, it’s a very different animal (no pun intended) than Spinbookie. This is a casino rather than a sports betting site, so it was designed to serve an entirely different purpose. To that end, it offers players an unusually large amount of control over the promotions available to them and is piled high with attractive ongoing rewards. The sheer number of casino games available at Supacasi is likely to be a delight even to the most seasoned of iGaming casino veterans. Not everything about Supacasi is rainbows and sparkles, though – the casino doesn’t outline its withdrawal process very well, and it caps the limit per transaction fairly low. If you’re a player on a budget who doesn’t mind a little wait, though, that’s unlikely to matter.

Luck of Spins

Luck of Spins

When we see a casino site that has the word “luck” in its title, we’ve come to expect that casino to be Irish-themed. That isn’t the deal with Luck of Spins, which instead takes its inspiration from the frontier days of the Wild West in the United States of America. The theme is realised well, continuing the trend of the Spinbookie sister sites having high-quality graphics. Another thing that goes in favour of Luck of Spins is that the casino offers ongoing cashback, so even if you end your session in the red, you’ll get a cut of your losses back eventually. The welcome promotion at the casino isn’t quite so generous, though, as it comes with a wagering requirement that’s far in excess of what exists elsewhere on the Famagousta B.V. platform. In better news, there’s a sportsbook. That makes it more like Spinbookie than some of the other sites on the network.

Jupi Casino

Jupi Casino

If you step back for a second and think about it, you can probably work out what the theme of Jupi Casino is without visiting the casino. We’ll save you the thinking time, though – “Jupi” is short for “Jupiter.” That’s the largest of the planets in our solar system, and ought to make Jupi Casino an iGaming site of truly monumental proportions. In some respects, that’s true. It appears that there are slots and games from more providers available at Jupi Casino than there are at other Spinbookie sister sites, and the casino shares several features in common with Supacasi. Given that we’ve already called Supacasi the best of the casinos on the Famagousta B.V. platform, that should tell you a lot about Jupi Casino. Its fun, cartoonish style of presentation is another positive point for this out-of-this-world casino.  It’s one of the operator’s best.

OhMyZino

OhMyZino

Speaking of casinos that opt for a cartoonish style of presentation, here’s OhMyZino. If you think you’ve seen the style of OhMyZino somewhere before, it’s entirely possible that you’ve recently played at Simsino or, if you prefer to stick to the safe and UKGC-regulated scene, Wink Bingo. All three sites use a Pop Art style of art that’s drawn more from the work of Lichtenstein than it is of Warhol, but it’s easy on the eye. If we hadn’t already named Supacasi as the best of the Spinbookie sister sites, we’d be considering handing that accolade to OhMyZino. There’s very little to split the difference between them, and you could even argue that OhMyZino has the edge because it has sports betting – a feature that Supacasi lacks. Considering that you’re looking for sites like Spinbookie, OhMyZino is probably the better match for you.

4Kasino

4Kasino

There’s an odd one out on almost every large network of casino sister sites, and on the Famagousta B.V. platform, the odd one out is 4Kasino. While the rest of the Spinbookie sister sites opt for larger-than-life themes or bold styles, 4Kasino pitches itself as a casino for those who prefer their iGaming experience to be a little more classic and traditional. That’s why there are playing card symbols all over the 4Kasino website – nothing says “retro” in a gambling sense than playing card symbols. Poker and card games, as you might expect, are at the front and centre of what this casino offers. The focus on table games doesn’t come at the exclusion of slots, though – there are just as many of them to be played with at 4Kasino as there are at any of the other casinos on the operator’s platform.

Spinbookie Review 2024

Spinbookie is something of an oxymoron of a name for an iGaming site. “Bookie” suggests sports betting, but “spin” suggests slots. Spinbookie is a place where you can bet on both things and a whole lot more, though, so maybe the name isn’t as odd as it might sound upon first hearing. Spinbookie isn’t as pretty as most of the other casinos and betting sites on the Famagousta B.V. network, but it’s perfectly functional, even if it is a bit cluttered. Let’s find out what’s hiding behind all that clutter by reviewing it in full.

Spinbookie sister sites homepage

Spinbookie Welcome Offer

In keeping with the casino’s duality of purpose, Spinbookie has separate welcome promotions for sports bettors and casino fans. If you’re here for the casino, the advertised bonus is up to £1200 in bonus cash. That breaks down as a 125% matched deposit up to £400 on deposit one, 80% up to £600 on deposit two, and 100% up to £200 on deposit three, all of which is subject to a somewhat chunky x45 wagering requirement. The average across the iGaming world for promotions like this is x35, so x45 is pretty sticky.

Sports bettors actually get two welcome bonuses from Spinbookie. The first is a plain and simple £25 free bet, which is awarded as soon as a new player makes their first deposit of £25 or more. Remember to select the right option from the drop-down list, or you’ll get the casino welcome bonus instead. The more formal promotion is a 100% matched deposit up to £100, which again has to be selected from the drop-down menu. If you go for the £100, you’ll have to wager any winnings x5 before you can withdraw anything.

Ongoing Promotions

Promotions don’t begin and end at the front door with Spinbookie. The casino is packed full of bonuses, split fairly evenly between those aimed at casino players and those aimed at sports bettors. For casino fans, there’s a matched deposit bonus with a cap of £1000 available every Tuesday, fifty free spins for making deposits on Fridays, another fifty per cent matched deposit up to £1500 on Saturdays, and five per cent cashback on losses when you play on weekends. Check all the terms and conditions closely before accepting any of the offers.

If sports betting is your bag, you can claim a fourth bet free for every three bets you make, so long as your three previous bets meet the fairly simple qualifying criteria. There’s a 50% deposit boost for sports betting on weekends, extra bonuses for predicting 0-0 draws in football, and early payouts if your team goes two goals or more ahead in a game.

Pros and Cons of Spinbookie

Pros: Instead of focusing on one type of gambling or another, Spinbookie straddles the worlds of sports betting and casino action and does it well. The list of bonuses is long and impressive, as is the list of slots and games in the casino’s extensive portfolio.

Cons: Even though there are a lot of bonuses available, the wagering requirements attached to some of them are fairly prohibitive. The casino isn’t as fast as it could be when it comes to withdrawals, with a processing period of up to 72 hours in force before funds are sent. Even though the casino is covered by two different iGaming licences, neither of them permits it to operate in the UK, which it does.

Top Games at Spinbookie

It’s a little hard to know whether to focus on slots or sports betting with regard to the top games at Spinbookie. Both of them are plastered all over the homepage, which, as we’ve previously said, is a little busy and cluttered. Sports betting appears to take priority – just about – with the latest big football games lined up in a horizontal row right in the middle of the page. The odds are listed with them, and there’s one-click access to betting. Other sports don’t get a look-in on the homepage, though – if you want to bet on something other than football, you have to go to the menu options at the top of the screen.

The casino’s top slots can be found directly beneath the next football fixtures, and they make for quite a collection. There were over six thousand games at Spinbookie when we wrote this review, and over five thousand of them were slots. We were, therefore, a little surprised to see that Golden Buffalo by Swintt was the casino’s top slots game, as it’s really not a big hit elsewhere. Raptor: Double MBX by Yggdrasil was in second place, with the classic-themed Joker Stoker by Endoprhina in third. Other highlights from the casino’s homepage include Fortune Tiger by TPG and Wild Crowns by Platipus.

Withdrawal Processing and Support

Spinbookie has a deposits and withdrawals page, but the page simultaneously tells us everything and nothing. There’s a long list of payment provider logos under the “withdraw” heading, so we know that we can use our Visa or Mastercard debit. We also know that the e-wallet options are Neteller, MiFinity, and Skrill, and Jeton and Paysafecard are also welcome. On top of that, pretty much every major cryptocurrency is covered. In terms of turnaround times, though, the page tells us nothing. We had to go digging through the casino’s full terms to find that the processing period after making a request could be as long as 72 hours, after which further (unspecified) delays might apply depending on the selected method. In short, there isn’t enough information given.

Customer Support and Licensing

To speak to the Spinbookie support team, open the live chat window and chat with someone. You can only do this between 9am and 1am, though, so if you’re a night owl, there will be nobody to chat to. In those circumstances – or if you just don’t want to use live chat – you can send an email to [email protected]. The casino holds two licences – one from Antillephone N.V. in Curacao and the other from the Kahnawake Gaming Commission in Canada. Neither licence is valid for entry into the UK market, so the casino is breaking the rules by operating here. For everyone outside the UK, the licences extend to all of the Spinbookie sister sites.

Spinbookie – The Verdict

Spinbookie tries very hard to be a jack of all trades and manages to avoid becoming a master of none. Overall, it’s pretty good. It’s not without issue, though, and we’re not just talking about its dubious iGaming licences. The wagering requirements that the casino imposes on bonuses are too high, and it doesn’t give us enough information to go off in terms of withdrawals. How long will it take for our money to turn up? Are there fees charged? We don’t know – and if we don’t know, we can’t feel safe when playing at Spinbookie, safe licence or not.
