UK-WL Sister Sites 2024

BCGame

BCGame logo

When we get further into this list of UK-WL sister sites, you’ll find that we repeatedly tell you that all of the betting sites and casinos on the TGP Europe Limited platform are, in essence, the same. When BCGame launched in 2023, we hoped it might be something new. Unusually for a betting site on this platform, the site launched with a fair amount of hype, including a holding page promising great things about BCGame long before it arrived. When the day game for the grand unveiling, though, BCGame turned out to be just like all the other UK-WL sister sites. It uses the same layout, offers the same sportsbook and slots, and is subject to the same limitations. Our understanding is that the international version of BCGame is a huge deal, but it’s yet to make any measurable impact of any kind in the UK.

BK8

BK8 Casino logo

The logo of BK8 might appear familiar to some of you, and that gives us a chance to talk about one of the biggest things that a lot of the UK-WL sister sites have in common (other than the fact that they’re clones of each other). Most of them have paid big money to sponsor football teams in the UK. In the case of BK8, the team is Aston Villa. You might be wondering what the point of such an inconsequential betting brand paying huge money to sponsor a prominent English Premier League football team is. The answer is that it’s a way of getting around UK Gambling Commission rules. BK8’s target audience is in the Far East, but it would be illegal to advertise a foreign, unlicensed betting site on UK television. Therefore, TGP Europe Limited has created a basic version of BK8 and covered it with a UK Gambling Commission licence, and hey presto – plausible deniability.

SBOTOP

SBO Top Casino logo

You can argue among yourselves about the best way to pronounce “SBOTOP.” We’ve considered every possibility, and none of them roll off the tongue well. If you’re familiar with the SBOTOP brand, it’ll likely be either because of its sponsorship of Fulham in the Premier League for the 2023/2024 season, or its sponsorship of Leeds United during the Yorkshire club’s most recent spell in the Premier League. Perhaps you’re an avid football fan and you remember both? In any event, SBOTOP is yet another iteration of the standard template that all the UK-WL sister sites are made from. There’s nothing new to do here, and there’s nothing that can be done here that can’t be done at literally any other betting or casino site on the TGP Europe Limited platform. In better news, the football connections make the SBOTOP website look more interesting than most sites on this platform do.

Kaiyun

Kaiyun

Kaiyun announced its entry into the UK marketplace by sponsoring the shirts of Nottingham Forest during the difficult season in the English Premier League that the Tricky Trees endured between 2023 and 2024. The story of the Kaiyun brand is very similar to the story of the BK8 brand (and the stories of quite a few of the UK-WL sister sites) in that the reason Kaiyun paid to sponsor Nottingham Forest has nothing to do with wanting to reach potential players in England. It is, again, all about reaching audiences in the Far East and beyond, where millions upon millions of people watch English Premier League football regularly. The UK version of the Kaiyun website is nothing more than a shell and a token effort to have a UKGC license in order to satisfy licensing and advertising requirements. It’s all a little bit cynical, but it’s all above board.

6686 Sports

6686 Sports

We’d say, “Stop us if you’ve heard this one before,” but that would mean ending this summary of 6686 Sports here and now, so we can’t do that. 6686 Sports is the UK-facing arm of a Vietnamese sports betting company called 66865. We assume that the numbers have a meaning in Vietnam that’s lost on Western audiences. While it hasn’t appeared across the centre of the shirt of an English Premier League football team like so many of the other UK-WL sister sites have, the 6686 logo was printed on the sleeve of the Wolverhampton Wanderers home shirt during the 2023/2024 season. If you watch Premier League football regularly, you’ll also have seen the logo appear on digital advertising hoardings around the grounds. That’s all there is to 6686 Sports – it’s yet another clone site on a network that contains nothing but clones.

UK-WL Review 2024

Our brief assessment of the UK-WL sister sites above should have given you an idea of what to expect from UK-WL, but we’ll get into the full details below. What we can’t work out is why UK-WL exists. The “UK” in the site’s name suggests that the site has a UK focus, but there’s nowhere near enough content at UK-WL to attract the average British punter. Almost all of the TGP Europe Limited sites were designed to serve international audiences, but that isn’t the case with this one. That makes UK-WL a bit of an enigma, but let’s try to get to know it better.

UK-WL sister sites homepage

UK-WL Welcome Offer

UK-WL doesn’t deviate in any meaningful way from any of the other betting sites under the TGP Europe Limited umbrella. None of them offer welcome promotions or sign-up bonuses, so UK-WL doesn’t offer any either. It’s as simple as that, but it’s also a major weakness for the site. Even the most basic of British betting sites offer a free bet or two as a “thank you” for signing up, so it’s baffling that UK-WL seems to think it can drum up custom without doing so.

Ongoing Promotions

Opting to visit UK-WL for casino gaming would be an odd move, given the site’s sports betting focus. Unfortunately, for those interested in spinning slots or shuffling cards, the platform doesn’t extend any welcome in the form of promotions or bonuses. However, if it’s the sportsbook you’re after,  then you’ll find a modest assortment of betting aids. UK-WL enhances your betting experience with features like enhanced odds on accumulator bets, bespoke bet builders, and the ability to cash out during live events. These are labelled as “features” on the platform, though that might be overstating their novelty. Given that such functionalities have become standard fare across most betting websites, their presentation as special features here isn’t entirely convincing.

Pros and Cons of UK-WL

Pros: You can bet on sports at UK-WL, and you can also play some slots and casino games. The site has the benefit of being covered by a full and valid UK Gambling Commission licence. These are basic things, but they’re about all we can come up with in terms of positives.

Cons: This is a bland and featureless site, with a dated approach to almost everything that it does. There aren’t any bonuses here to excite players. Customer service is email-only. Withdrawals take an age by modern standards. It’s just a very boring betting site in every respect, from the way it looks to the way it functions.

Top Games at UK-WL

We said above that visiting UK-WL to play casino games would be the wrong way to go about using the site, and we stand by that. However, we’ll acknowledge that there are more casino games at TGP Europe Limited sites than there used to be. Sites like UK-WL were once restricted to a comparatively small number of slots and games, but these days, you’ll find top-tier titles like John Hunter: Book of Tut Respin, Club Tropicana and Wolf Gold waiting for you. There are also casual games like Plink, live game shows and even modern crash games like Spaceman. Overall, the casino at UK-WL isn’t bad  – it’s just a shame that there aren’t any bonuses to go with it.

All of the TGP Europe sites are built around their sportsbooks, and UK-WL is no exception. The sportsbook focuses on football before all other things, which dedicated sections for not only the top two divisions in England but also the Spanish La Liga, the German Bundesliga, and the Italian Serie A. Even Ligue 1 in France gets a spotlight section before the sportsbook moves on to other sports, with Formula 1 getting a dedicated area during the motor racing season. Anything that’s live at the time you visit UK-WL will be offered in the middle of the sportsbook, be that tennis, basketball, ice hockey or something else.

Withdrawal Processing and Support

Following a trend that’s becoming all too familiar, UK-WL finds another way to disappoint us in this category. When it comes to cashing out, the options are narrow: only Visa/Mastercard debit cards and Skrill/Neteller e-wallets make the cut. Popular choices like PayPal and Maestro are off the table, as are bank transfer services such as Trustly. While having a daily limit of £10,000 might seem generous, the pace at which withdrawals are processed leaves much to be desired. The site’s vague processing timelines offer little assurance, with no one, including e-wallet users, promised access to their funds in under five business days. In an age where instant or at least same-day transactions have become the norm, UK-WL is badly behind the curve.

Customer Support and Licensing

If all you need from customer service is to unlock your account or send verification information, there are automated services for those functions. For any other customer support matter, though, you’re a bit stuck. The only way to contact the site is via email, either on [email protected] for general queries or [email protected] if your issue is more serious. There’s no live chat feature, nor a telephone number to call.

As a TGP Europe betting site, UK-WL is covered by UK Gambling Commission licence 38898. The same licence covers all of the UK-WL sister sites. However, players should note that TGP Europe was fined by the UK Gambling Commission in 2023. Information about the fine can be found on the UKGC website, and in the Trust Score table further up this page.

UK-WL – The Verdict

We can’t think of a compelling reason to play at UK-WL unless, for reasons best known to yourself, you’re looking for a bland, vanilla iGaming experience. Perhaps you hate bonuses because they’re sticky, don’t care about presentation, don’t think you’re likely to need customer support, and don’t mind waiting a while for your withdrawals. If you recognise yourself in that description, you’ll be fine at UK-WL. For everybody else, though, far better betting sites exist – it’s just a shame that none of them are on this operator’s platform.
