ZetBet Sister Sites 2024

Mr Mega

MrMega logo

Mr Mega is the first casino on our list of ZetBet sister sites and, in the eyes of many players, the biggest and best casino in the entire AG Communications family. We don’t make that statement lightly, as AG Communications is a massive casino network company with dozens of brands under white-label management. It’s achieved all of this despite never going overboard with promotions. You’ll be lucky to see a welcome offer worth more than £50 at Mr Mega. Instead of wowing its potential audience with promotions, Mr Mega instead looks to blow visitors away with the quality of the casino games at the site. There are only around three hundred online slots at Mr Mega, but they’re drawn from the best providers and see regular updates with new releases.

Mr Mega operates according to an “all about the players” philosophy, whether that’s making sure players have access to the best games or ensuring that withdrawal methods are fast and convenient. The casino boasts live dealer games and a well-heeled sportsbook to go with its standard portfolio of traditional casino games and lists all of the most recent big winners in a scrolling list to the right of the homepage to keep players motivated. You might sometimes see those wins listed in currencies other than pounds sterling. That’s because Mr Mega is a big-time international casino site.

Plaza Royal Casino

Plaza Royal Casino logo

Plaza Royal Casino is very keen for players to sign up from the moment they arrive on its lively homepage. That much is made clear when you have to click past not one but three pop-up notifications asking new players to register, plus a query message asking why you wouldn’t want to give the site your information immediately. That gives Plaza Royal Casino a more confrontational tone than most of the other ZetBet sister sites and might be a little too hard a shove for some visitors. Those who stick around for long enough to see what Plaza Royal has to offer will find that this ZetBet sister site considers itself to be the “Virtual Vegas” of the United Kingdom.

The casino’s Vegas influence is obvious just from the site’s logo, which is a take on the world-famous “Welcome to Las Vegas” sign on the outskirts of Sin City, Nevada. While Plaza Royal Casino doesn’t look as modern as Mr Mega or ZetBet, it offers a more extensive range of games, with several hundred in its portfolio. It lacks a sportsbook, but it instead has a dedicated range of instant win scratch games if you’re not interested in the slots or the live casino. The site is covered by a valid UK Gambling Commission licence and offers convenient payment methods like PayPal and Trustly to go with the usual debit card options.

Luck Land

Luckland logo

Famously, Clint Eastwood once asked a foe in one of his classic Western movies, “Do you feel lucky, punk?” If his unfortunate victim had answered “yes,” to that question, he might have been directed to Luck Land Casino. You wouldn’t know it from the name, but this is a holiday-themed ZetBet sister site. All of the casino’s promotions are themed around the idea of “taking a trip” with the site, while other promotional banners display luxury beach images with phrases like “your gaming destination” to solidify the link between playing at Luck Land and “taking a break.” The site’s layout is broadly similar to that of Mr Mega but not quite as easy on the eye.

Luck Land, which also sometimes goes by the name Luckland (both names are used on the casino’s website), promises a cutting-edge casino experience with over eight hundred slots and games drawn from the likes of NetEnt and Microgaming. The slots portfolio at Luckland is impressive, but the site spends more time promoting its roulette and live dealer games than it does its slots. If you’re looking for an AG Communications site that leans more heavily towards the live casino experience than the other ZetBet sister sites do, Luckland wouldn’t be a bad choice. It’s getting up there in terms of age, but the quality of the casino hasn’t dropped in all the years it’s been online.

Mr Play

Mr Play logo

There aren’t many online casino sites out there that you can refer to as “charismatic” – and that’s as true of the ZetBet sister sites as it is of the sites on any other casino network – but we can say it about Mr Play. Impressively, all it took to give AG Communications Limited’s Mr Play Casino a sense of personality was a fake moustache, which appears both on the site’s logo and on the face of the stunning woman who welcomes us to the casino’s homepage. Mr Play takes elements of the other successful AG Communications sites and brings them together under one roof, with both a sportsbook and a scratch cards section present alongside the usual casino and live casino offerings.

Mr Play describes itself as “the top casino for UK players,” but that’s something that all of the ZetBet sister sites tend to say about themselves. However, Mr Play might have a better claim on the title than most of them – not least because there are more than one thousand casino games at the site. As well as having an impressive games portfolio, Mr Play offers a structured loyalty reward program with enhanced perks for VIP players. Most of the differences between Mr Play and the other ZetBet sister sites might be down to the fact that this site is run by Marketplay Ltd of Malta using the AG Communications Ltd white-label platform, but the reason scarcely matters when the product is this good.

Mr Play Website

Hopa

Hopa logo

If you visit the ZetBet sister sites in the order we’ve listed them on this rundown, Hopa Casino will feel like a comedown. It’s one of the ugliest casino sites in the entire AG Communications family, and that’s a real shame because if you’re willing to overlook its ugliness, it makes a solid offering. As one of the more well-rounded sites on the network, Hopa offers a well-selected range of slots, live casino games and sports betting opportunities with some generous promotions. We mentioned earlier that Mr Mega rarely offers more than £50 in bonus funds. With Hopa, you can often add a zero to that number, although you’ll always have to be wary of the site’s wagering requirements.

Hopa Casino promises players “a new way to play.” We haven’t found any evidence of a revolutionary new way of playing casino games at the site, but we did find more than five hundred online slots and live dealer games with some excellent promotions to go with them. Aside from being available to players in the UK, location-specific versions of Hopa Casino are also available in Finland, Canada, Norway, Spain, Germany and Sweden. It’s another ZetBet sister site that has international flavours – and it’s yet another success story for AG Communications Limited.

ZetBet Review 2024

ZetBet launched in 2022 as a newcomer to AG Communications Limited, instantly becoming available in the wider world as an Aspire Global brand. While AG Communications Limited adds new brands semi-regularly, ZetBet has become the operator’s biggest hit in a while, taking less than twelve months to establish itself as one of the top performers on the operator’s platform. So, what is it about ZetBet that makes it so much more popular – and, according to some, so much better – than the many ZetBet sister sites? Let’s see if we can find out by reviewing it.

ZetBet Website

ZetBet Welcome Offers

ZetBet’s current welcome offer – which could be withdrawn at any time, so always check the site before spending money – is one hundred free spins plus a matched deposit bonus of up to £200. As always, there are terms and conditions attached to the offer. It’s split over the first three deposits a new player makes and comes subject to a minimum deposit of £10 on deposit one and £20 on deposits two and three. The bonus funds attached to the matched deposit come with an x35 wagering requirement, which is around average. Free spins are doled out at twenty per day for five days and can only be redeemed on specific online slots. Unused spins expire in 24 hours, and any winnings that come from free spins are subject to an x50 wagering requirement. Alternatively, new players could choose to avail themselves of the ZetBet sports welcome offer, which is a nice and simple £10 free bet once you’ve spent £10 on a bet with minimum odds of 2.00 or 1/1.

ZetBet is owned by AG Communications Ltd

When we talk about AG Communications Limited, we’re talking about one of the largest casino network companies in the world. AG Communications Limited is the name the company uses when it’s doing business in the UK. As far as the rest of the world is concerned, the company is called Aspire Global. While holding a full UK Gambling Commission licence – which is clean as of mid-2022 – AG Communications is actually a Maltese company and obtained its first licence with the Malta Gaming Authority way back in 2005. Today, the company operates more than eighty online casinos on its platform. Most of those casinos are operated on a white-label basis, with AG Communications providing a software platform and a third party taking responsibility for the ongoing operations of the casino site.

The platform provided by AG Communications can offer more than one thousand online slots from the best names in the business, scratch cards, live dealer games and a sportsbook. It’s up to the white-label customer to choose which pieces of the portfolio they do or don’t wish to offer on their sites. This is a casino network company with a long track record of success and a name that’s trusted across the industry. When you’re dealing with an AG Communications Limited casino site, you’re as safe as secure as you can be at any online casino.

ZetBet Ongoing Promotions

After new players have used (or opted out of) the welcome promotions at ZetBet, the long-term position with regard to promotions becomes a little unclear. There are no other promotions listed on the ZetBet casino site as of the time of writing, but the wording of the site suggests that other rewards and perks might exist. Under the heading “enjoy more promotions,” ZetBet insinuates that the casino will offer promotions to those who “play regularly” at the site. Those perks might include higher limits for deposits and withdrawals, monthly cashback offers, deposit match bonuses and personalised offers based on the way that individual players spend money.

You might currently be looking at the ZetBet promotions page and wondering what we’re talking about because you can see promotions. Those promotions include the bet builder and boost features connected to the site’s sportsbook. We don’t consider these “promotions” in the true sense of the word – they’re simply betting features and betting options. Similarly, the tournaments and prize pools that the site sometimes hosts aren’t promotions because they don’t offer a guaranteed reward for a specific action. In the case of the Pragmatic Play Drops and Wins games, they’re not even hosted by ZetBet as a platform.

ZetBet: Pros and Cons

Pros:

• A modern-looking casino site operated by a known, trusted casino network company.

• Support for e-wallets, including Paypal, with fast withdrawals.

Cons:

• No live support available.

• Wagering restrictions can go as high as x50 against some bonus funds, which is far more than the industry average.

Featured Slots and Casino Games

ZetBet Sportsbook

The featured slots and games at ZetBet are drawn from the golden days of iGaming’s past rather than its bright future. That’s not to say that ZetBet doesn’t have new games – it has plenty – but the “featured games” section tells us that either the people who run ZetBet prefer the old classics or the people who play at ZetBet strongly prefer to go with games that they already know and love. As examples, here are the top three slots at ZetBet at the time of our visit.

Book of Dead: If this is your first time hearing about Book of Dead by Play’n Go, we welcome you to what we assume is your first time visiting an online casino website. Book of Dead, with its Ancient Egypt theme, is about as classic as slots get. There’s a trend among online slots providers to produce “book of” slots in which the primary bonus feature is a free spins round, and the free spins come with random expanding symbols. This is where that trend began. The slot is showing its age a little but is still as potent as it’s always been, with 94.25% RTP and very high volatility.

Big Bass Bonanza: Fishin’ Frenzy might have been the slots game that started the fishing trend at casinos, but Big Bass Bonanza by Reel Kingdom is the slot that perfected it. It comes with great graphics and, more importantly, a big bonus win when you land a fisherman symbol and at least one “cash fish” on the same spin. The mechanism works like a traditional “collect” symbol, but the fishing theme brings it to life and makes every spin exciting. Big Bass Bonanza used to be a BetFred exclusive from 2014 to 2020 but finally secured a general release that year and is now one of the most popular online slots in history. RTP in this slot is 95.67%, and volatility is somewhere between medium and high.

Starburst: There has never been an online slots game more popular than NetEnt’s Starburst. There might never be an online slots game more popular than NetEnt’s Starburst. It’s been almost ten years since this outer space-themed gem of a slot was released, and it’s been a top-ranked slot for that entire time. We never know whether to put that down to the hypnotic sounds and visuals of the slot or the simple fact that every wild symbol that lands also expands and grants a respin. Maybe it’s a combination of both. Starburst offers 96.09% RTP and low volatility, so it ought not to tax your bankroll too much so long as you play sensibly. If you’re a slots fan and you’ve never played Starburst, we assure you that you’re missing out.

Slots are the bread and butter of ZetBet, but they’re far from being all the site has to offer. Players are also welcome to place bets on sports, try their luck on digital scratch cards, or come face-to-face with the dealers inside the ZetBet live casino.

Deposit and Withdrawal Methods

ZetBet offers a range of payment and withdrawal methods without going overboard. All deposit methods are instant and attract no fees. Every casino registered with the UK Gambling Commission has to offer support for Mastercard and Visa Debit cards, so both options are here. You might want to consider using something else, though, as the turnaround time for debit card withdrawals is up to six business days. That’s slower than average and likely to be a no-no for some players.

If you have a PayPal account and you’re happy to use it with a casino site, you’ll receive withdrawals in no more than two business days. In some cases, withdrawals could even be instant. The same is true of MuchBetter e-wallets. Trustly withdrawals can take a little longer for reasons we’re unsure of, with a maximum turnaround of four working days. Both bank transfer and Paysafe Card are there as deposit options but can’t be used for withdrawals.

ZetBet Customer Support and License

Unfortunately, ZetBet lets itself down a little when it comes to customer service. The only method of communication we could find was email. The site tells us that customer support teams are available from 8am to midnight every day of the week but doesn’t offer an instant route to get in touch with them. If staff are really there for that entire time, we’d expect to be able to speak to them via live chat as a minimum rather than crossing our fingers and waiting for a timely response to an email.

ZetBet is covered by the UK Gambling Commission licence that its parent company AG Communications Limited holds under reference 39483. As you can see in the table above, the licence isn’t a clean one – the operator was fined in late 2022. This same licence covers all of the ZetBet sister sites.

ZetBet Casino – The Verdict

ZetBet is yet another very solid offering from a casino network company that knows what players want and delivers it consistently. The range of casino games at the site is excellent, and the site itself is attractive to look at and easy to use. However, we have to take issue with the lack of basic customer support options and the x50 wagering requirement attached to some bonuses. It’s far too high for a modern online casino and makes ZetBet uncompetitive. A few more ongoing promotions and clarity over how the VIP scheme works wouldn’t go amiss either.

What are players saying about ZetBet?

Here are our condensed / reader’s digest summaries of recent player reviews of ZetBet.

  • 11-Apr-2024 by Saidhbhe:
I had a great experience at ZetBet. I deposited £50 and received a £50 welcome bonus, which I turned into £4800. Although you must wager at least £800 to withdraw, I ended up withdrawing £3600. However, they deducted £1200 from my winnings as they were bonus wagers, which is a bit disappointing. – source: Trustpilot
