Mansion Casino is the company’s flagship brand and is an impressive casino to look at. All of the Mansion Casino sister sites pale in comparison to the original, but that’s the effect that a casino network company should want its flagship casino to have. The red and black colour scheme is bold and eye-catching, but not as eye-catching as the rolling tally of jackpots at the bottom of the screen. It’s not just the graphical style of Casino.com that’s a little behind the times – the content of the casino is a little lacking, too. Slots Heaven has a similar look and style to Casino.com, which is to say that it looks a bit basic and dated. However, the homepage has a little extra sparkle because of the 1970s-style neon logo and the presence of an image of Robocop. Robocop doesn’t appear in any of the online slots or casino games at Slots Heaven, so why the famous movie character is there at all is unexplained. We’d love for this to be true, but unfortunately, it isn’t.

The number of slots and games at Slots Heaven is similar to the number available at Casino.com. There are roughly three hundred slots here, and they come only from Eyecon, Playtech, and Skywind. There are some major names missing from that list, and so if you came to Slots Heaven expecting it to live up to its name, you’d be disappointed. There’s a pecking order at every casino network company, and Slots Heaven definitely comes third out of the three at Mansion. In fact, the casino’s true strength may not be its slots but its other casino games. The site offers online versions of roulette, blackjack and baccarat, including live dealer varieties of each. It’s hard to recommend playing at Slots Heaven when Mansion Casino and Casino.com are both available, but the site remains popular, so its loyal players must be finding something to enjoy here.

Mansion Bet (Inactive)

The name and logo of Mansion Bet will be familiar to every football fan in the United Kingdom. That’s down to their numerous football shirt sponsorships. The brand has sponsored Tottenham Hotspur in the past and has more recently sponsored Crystal Palace. Those high-profile promotions helped the Mansion Bet brand to expand and grow. It probably never reached the top five in the UK when it comes to popular sports betting brands and it never will now because the casino closed to UK players in March 2022.

Mansion Bet differentiated itself from most UK sites that offer sports betting by giving prominent placement to sports that aren’t among the most played or most watched in the UK. NBA basketball games were covered in detail, as were ice hockey fixtures. If you’re a fan of American sports and enjoy having a flutter on them, Mansion Bet could have become your new favourite sports betting site. That’s not to say that all the more popular sports weren’t covered as well, though – you could bet on football, cricket, tennis, rugby and snooker to your heart’s content. Unlike some betting websites, Mansion didn’t cover non-sporting content. You couldn’t go to Mansion to bet on political matters or on the likely winners at the next Oscars ceremony, but if you’re fine with that because you’re only interested in sports anyway, Mansion would have had you covered. It was comprehensive sportsbook provided by a quality brand, but it never captured enough of the UK market to be viable for its operator. Closing it down wouldn’t have been an easy decision, but it’s gone.

The official Mansion website will tell you that this is a casino network company with more than ten years of experience in the sector. It’s actually being a little modest about that. The company opened in Gibraltar in 2004, so the number of years Mansion has been in business for is actually closer to twenty than ten. Whether that’s true or not is a subjective question, but it’s obvious that Mansion is confident about the quality of its proposition. The service that it provides its players with is described as “boutique,” which isn’t a word you’ll often see on a casino network company’s website. The company believes that the backbone of its service is its customer support team, which is available all day every day throughout the year and is described as both knowledgable and personalised. Leaving a casino site with more money than you arrived at it with is the goal that all of us have in mind every time we make a bet, regardless of how often things actually work out that way. We concede that the progressive jackpots available at Mansion’s sites are indeed huge, but as we saw as we looked at the Mansion brands one by one, the statement about range and variety simply isn’t true. The average number of online slots at a big-name casino site in the 2020s is 500, with some brands offering more than double that number. Mansion doesn’t offer more than around three hundred games in total at any of its sites, leaving it lagging behind. The brand might have several strengths, but variety isn’t among them.

Closing Mansion Bet

Breaking into sports betting was once a major objective of Mansion. It’s the reason why the company once sponsored Tottenham Hotspur and Crystal Palace in the English Premier League, splashing the Mansion Bet logo across the shirts of both teams and thereby having the brand promoted to an audience of billions of people around the world. The company is still very proud of its football sponsorships. It’s no longer active in the Premier League but still sponsors Millwall FC and Bristol City in the English Championship. However, those sponsorships now relate to Mansion Casino rather than Mansion Bet. That’s because the Mansion Bet experiment sadly failed, resulting in the withdrawal of the site from the UK market in March 2022 and, ultimately, its closure.

The closure of Mansion Bet must have been a difficult decision for its parent company. Enormous sums of money had been spent on attempting to gain a foothold in the highly competitive UK market, but they never had a breakthrough moment. Competition is stiff, and with mega-firms like the Kindred Group and Flutter Entertainment as rivals, capturing market share is a tall order. Many industry insiders commented that the closure of Mansion Bet was sad but wasn’t a surprise. The horse racing industry might miss the site more than players do, as the removal of the brand means that there are now several high-profile race events in the UK calendar searching for a new sponsor. It’s difficult to imagine any new group or company breaking into the UK sports betting market and capturing enough of the market to stay afloat at this point in time, so the group’s decision to refocus its energies on the Mansion Casino brand seems like a wise one. Still, enormous sums of money were spent on Mansion Bet without much coming back the other way, so the business probably has good cause to regret ever trying to get involved with the UK sports betting market in the first place. They’re unlikely to try again, and the failure of Mansion Bet is likely to become a cautionary tale for any other iGaming or casino network company that might be tempted to take on the big names in the UK.

Mansion Affiliates

Mansion doesn’t operate any white-label casino sites, so it doesn’t make any money by creating website templates and lending its licences to third parties. That’s a common tactic for big casino network companies – the 888 Group alone has more than one hundred white label sites, as does Jumpman Gaming. Instead of operating such a scheme, Mansion instead operates “Mansion Affiliates” and hopes to bring money in that way instead. It’s a scheme open to almost everybody. If you know enough about SEO and website building to create a sales funnel and direct traffic to one of Mansion’s casino brands, Mansion is happy to pay you for each successful referral.

Mansion Affiliates promises that getting set up with the scheme is as simple as contacting an account manager and gaining approval from them, adding the official Mansion tracking software and creative suite to your existing website, and then earning money. Affiliates are paid a flat fee for each qualifying referral plus a revenue share from each player they refer. The scheme has been open for twelve years and currently has more than 1500 active partners. A collective sum in excess of £1m is paid to members of Mansion Affiliates every month.
