Why it needs SCGO as a partner is something we’re unsure of. It strikes us that Dafabet would be more than capable of standing on its own two feet. Maybe it just wants somebody else carrying the can in terms of licensing.

HighBet

A lot of what we just said about Dafabet also applies to HighBet. This, too, is a brand that’s come to the SCGO Limited network after starting life somewhere else. Rather than being one of the original VBET sister sites (there are none of those left now), HighBet used to operate in the UK under the licence and umbrella of AG Communications Limited. As with all white-label iGaming brands, though, HighBet always had the freedom to go elsewhere if it wanted to.   Do not use this company under any circumstances. I placed a winning bet on total goals, and the payout was supposed to be £2,200. Instead, they claimed I’d placed an “Asian” bet — something I’ve never heard of or used — and reduced the payout to under £900. I’ve got screenshots proving my bet, but after weeks of back-and-forth, they’ve now closed my account. I’m reporting them to the ombudsman and the Gambling Commission.   Not for me. As soon as I signed up, they stopped me from depositing until I verified my account — something I’ve never had to do before placing a bet on other sites. When I finally got access, the gameplay was awful. Out of around 150 spins, most were dead. I ended up with next to nothing back from both deposit and bonus. My debit card expired, and I uploaded my new one, but they wouldn’t accept it without extra proof — like a statement that doesn’t even show the card details they wanted. They also asked me for a screenshot of a Skrill account I don’t even have. It feels like they don’t understand how UK banking works at all.
