We noted at the top of this page that NetBet has streamlined its operations. Accordingly, we’ve streamlined our review. We used to treat all the different aspects of NetBet as separate entities, but this new version of NetBet makes it easier – not to mention more logical – to review them all in one place. There’s always a risk when a brand makes a deliberate decision to shrink down its offerings because something important could be lost. Having said that, it’s also said that good things come in small(er) packages. Now it’s shorn of the NetBet sister sites, is NetBet better off as a compact brand? Let’s see.

NetBet Welcome Offers

The three NetBet welcome offers are made very clear when you land on the homepage for the first time – you can even see them in the screenshot above. For those who’ve come for NetBet Casino, it’s up to five hundred free spins in return for a first deposit of at least £10, with the total number of spins you end up with connected to the size of your deposit. Anything you win from those spins will have to be wagered x40 before you can withdraw it.

For NetBet Sports, which is arguably the most popular aspect of NetBet in terms of player numbers, the offer is up to £30 in free bets to anyone who joins the site and bets £10 on a Bet Builder. It doesn’t matter if the bet builder wins or loses – you’ll get the bonus anyway, and it’ll be delivered as three £10 free bets. One onf those bets is to be used on the Bet Builder, another is for accas, and the third is a general free bet that can be used on any sport.

The poker welcome promotion is a little more enigmatic. Weknow what the headline is – it’s an offer to triple the value of your first deposit up to a maximum of £1300. However, the small print says that “play through applies,” as do additional terms and conditions. NetBet Casino has no issue stating its playthrough requirements, so we’re not sure why Poker NetBet can’t do the same. As there’s no link to the terms and conditions on the homepage, potential new players are left in the dark about the terms.

Ongoing Promotions

NetBet has multiple promotions in each of its minisites, and they can be a little overwhelming to look at. NetBet Casino alone has a whole page full of promotions, with some of them appearing to overlap, and others having very short shelf lives. You’ll find that across the NetBet sister sites, several of the promotions are of a “here today, gone tomorrow” variety, and as such, we can’t write about them in detail because they’ll likely be gone by the time you read these words. There is one promotion we can write about, though, and that’s the NetBet Players Club. It covers all of the NetBet mini-brands, and it’s a place where the company promises that loyalty will be rewarded.

There are seven levels to the NetBet Players Club, with every new player beginning at Bronze level by default. There are no benefits at that level, but you earn points towards the next level, Silver, with every bet you place. You need a monthly haul of 770 points to become a Silver member, where you get an extra 2.5 free points for every ten you accumulate during regular gameplay. From there, the ranks are Gold, Diamond, Platinum, Stellar and Elite, with the monthly points tally for Elite set at 15,554,500. The more points you have and the higher your status, the better the level of gift available to you.

What are the Pros and Cons of NetBet?
