At the Bingo Sister Sites

At the Bingo sister sites aren’t in short supply. They belong to the Grand Battery Holdings Limited platform, and there are comfortably more than one hundred and fifty of them. When you’re dealing with a platform that big, finding a sister site isn’t an issue – the problem becomes finding a high-quality sister site. That’s what we’re here for. There’s a full list of all of the At the Bingo sister sites on our dedicated Grand Battery Holdings Limited page for the operator. Below, you’ll find our picks for the best sites on the platform.

UK Bingo

Uk Bingo logo

If you’re looking for somewhere new to play bingo games, why not start with one of the very oldest bingo sites in the UK? Were it not for the success of the early iGaming and bingo sites, the whole internet gambling revolution would never have happened. That means we have a lot to thank sites like UK Bingo for, and it’s to the credit of Grand Battery Holdings Limited as an operator that the site can be counted among the At the Bingo sister sites. UK Bingo has been online since 2003, which means it wasn’t the first bingo site to go live, but it’s one of the few from back then that have adapted and survived as the online bingo world has changed around them. UK Bingo still has plenty to offer after more than twenty years of operations and provides access to the hottest bingo rooms on this network. That includes the famous Royal Room.

Chat Mag Bingo

There are a few star names among the At the Bingo sister sites. By “star names,” what we mean is bingo or casino sites that have connections to real-world entertainment properties. As an example, here’s Chat Mag Bingo, which is (unsurprisingly) the official bingo site of Chat Magazine. That’s one of the UK’s most popular weekly glossy magazines and has a readership of thousands of people. Presumably, a good enough proportion of those readers come to Chat Mag Bingo for all of their online bingo needs, thus keeping the site afloat. If you’re planning on checking out more than one of the At the Bingo sister sites, you’ll find that quite a lot of them look almost exactly like Chat Mag Bingo. That’s a consequence of the design template that was used to create the casinos several years ago – a template that’s been simplified since the sites became Grand Battery Holdings Limited properties.

Wink Bingo

Wink Bingo, with its Roy Lichtenstein-inspired graphics and outstanding design, is the pick of the bunch as far as the At the Bingo sister sites are concerned. We’re happy to award that accolade even though we’ve still got some big names to look at, which we’ll get to in a moment. Wink Bingo was always one of the biggest hitters on the platform back when all of the At the Bingo sister sites belonged to 888 Holdings, and has grown in stature since while some of the others have shrunk. In every category, Wink Bingo outperforms every other bingo site on this network. It looks better, it’s easier to navigate, it has the pick of the promotions, and it can provide access to all of the best rooms and games. There are other At the Bingo sister sites which are worth a visit, but if you’re only going to choose one of them, the majority of players would say that Wink Bingo is the one to choose.

888 Ladies

888 Ladies logo

We’ve mentioned the fact that the At the Bingo sister sites are almost all former 888 Holdings sites a couple of times now. That means we have a couple of the old 888-branded sites to consider for inclusion on this list. It was a toss-up between 888 Bingo and 888 Ladies, but we’ve gone for 888 Ladies because it’s a better-looking site. 888 Ladies has had the same pink-and-green glittery appearance for several years now, but it still looks fresh and crisp, and presents itself with a few attractive promotions to consider. As is so often the case with modern bingo sites, 888 Ladies has expanded far beyond its original parameters to include slots and other casino games, but the focus of the site is still bingo. Every day is ladies’ day at 888 Ladies, but the site won’t judge any men who want to play here. If bingo rooms with progressive jackpots are your thing, you can indulge yourself here.

Pick Me Up Bingo

Pickmeup Bingo logo

Pick Me Up Bingo is, as many of you will already have worked out, another one of the “star names” among the At the Bingo sister sites. We think it’s highly likely that Pick Me Up Bingo and Chat Magazine belong to the same publisher because they’ve ended up with very similar-looking iGaming sites on the same casino network. You could spend quite a lot of time looking at the Pick Me Up Bingo homepage trying to work out what’s different from Chat Mag Bingo save for the logo and the name. We’ve spent more time doing that than we care to admit, and the conclusion we’ve reached is that they’re virtually identical. There are pros and cons to that fact, with the worst of the cons being that Pick Me Up Bingo doesn’t offer anything new. On the other hand, there’s nothing wrong with having more of the same so long as you’re having fun with it.

At the Bingo Review

The sites on the Grand Battery Holdings Limited platform have a storied history. They once belonged on the Dragonfish Bingo platform, which belonged to 888 Holdings. Then, 888 Holdings decided to sell the Dragonfish Bingo platform and all of the At the Bingo sister sites on it to Broadway Gaming which, in turn, created Grand Battery Holdings as a new operator to licence and look after them. Having done that, Grand Battery Holdings started adding to its already-enormous collection. At the Bingo is one of the ‘new’ sites on the network, but it isn’t technically ‘new.’ Instead, it’s a brand that was shut down years ago but has now been revived. Was the operator’s feat of resurrection worth the trouble? Let’s review it and find out.

At the Bingo Welcome Promotions

If At the Bingo stands out in any way from the 150+ At the Bingo sister sites it’s competing for space with, it’s with its minimalist style. This is, for all intents and purposes, a one-page bingo and casino site. All of the fat has been trimmed away from it, and sadly for players who value bonuses, most of the promotions that you might be accustomed to seeing at other sites on this network have been deemed “fat.” That means the At the Bingo welcome promotion is a little on the small side.

As a new At the Bingo player, you have the option to claim a £20 bingo bonus when you register with the site and make your first deposit. It’s a 100% matched deposit, which means you have to deposit £20 to claim your additional £20. The minimum deposit is also £20, so you can’t deposit £10 and get a free £10, which seems mean-spirited. The funds are delivered as a bingo bonus, so they can’t be used on slots. The wagering requirement is a perfectly reasonable x2.

Ongoing Promotions

This won’t be a long paragraph. At the Bingo doesn’t have any ongoing promotions. In fact, there are no promotions at the site whatsoever apart from the welcome promotion. We weren’t joking when we said this is a minimalist bingo site.

Pros and Cons of At the Bingo

Pros:

The welcome promotion at this site might not be big, but x2 is a low wagering requirement for a bingo bonus. If you decide to claim the welcome bonus and your luck is in when you use it, you have a realistic chance of being able to turn your bonus wins into real money. There are plenty of At the Bingo sister sites where that isn’t the case. The minimalist style of At the Bingo might be considered a positive by some players, too – especially those who value fast loading times.

Cons:

Would it be churlish to say “Almost everything else?” At the Bingo’s near-total lack of promotions mean that the site lacks spice, but that’s not its worst issue. That “accolade” has to go to the customer service situation, which is one of the worst we’ve ever seen at a UK-facing iGaming site. There are no support links whatsoever on the At the Bingo homepage. If you want to speak to someone about your experience at this casino, you can’t. It’s as simple as that, and it’s way out of line for a UKGC licensed Gaming site in the 2020s.

Top Games at At the Bingo

Quite a few of the At the Bingo sister sites give more of the space on their homepages to slots than they do to bingo games, so it’s refreshing to see that At the Bingo actually makes its bingo rooms the stars of the show. That starts with the popular Roller Coaster room, where cash prizes go up and down all the time. It’s a fixture at bingo sites right across the Grand Battery Holdings Limited network. If you’re a night owl, you might be able to bag a seat in The Late Room for a guaranteed £100 prize, but you have to act quickly when you see it open – only the first 75 players to click on the link will be able to get in. For those who want something a little different, there’s also “Bingo Roulette,” which combines aspects of both games to create something new.

Most players who come to At the Bingo will do so for the bingo rooms. With a name like “At the Bingo,” it would be weird if they came for anything else. There are still plenty of popular online slots to play with if that’s what you want to do, though. About halfway down the At the Bingo homepage, you’ll find links to popular titles, including the likes of Fluffy Favourites, Beat the House, Gonzo’s Quest, Action Bank and many more.

Withdrawal Processing & Support

At the Bingo has limited withdrawal options, only allowing transactions through debit cards, wire transfers, and PayPal. You would think PayPal transactions would be quick, but that’s not the case at At the Bingo. Prepare yourself for a two-business-day processing time for withdrawal requests, and they don’t even bother explaining why it takes so long. If you choose to withdraw using a debit card, you’ll have to wait an additional five business days. Wire transfers take even longer, potentially up to seven days, and even PayPal takes two to three days. So, brace yourself for a five-day wait for PayPal withdrawals and over a week for debit card or wire transfer withdrawals.

Customer Support & Licensing

We wish you good luck if you find yourself needing customer support at At the Bingo; you’re going to need it. As we mentioned earlier in this review, there aren’t any customer support links on the site’s homepage. There isn’t even an email address. It’s only through clicking on the “login” or “register” links that you’ll find a link to live chat support, but the idea of doing so won’t occur to everybody. We’ve never known an iGaming site to make its customer support so difficult to find.

At the Bingo operates according to the terms of conditions of UK Gambling Commission licence no. 58267 – the same licence that covers all of the At the Bingo sister sites. It belongs to Grand Battery Holdings Limited and is free of fines or other sanctions as of the time of writing.

At the Bingo – The Verdict

The casinos and bingo sites on the Grand Battery Holdings platform are a mixed bag. At the Bingo isn’t one of the better ones. It’s so minimalist that there’s almost nothing to it, the colour scheme is garish, and there’s virtually no customer support. We don’t mind the welcome promotion, and the selection of games and bingo rooms is strong, but when you could play with the same games and bingo rooms almost literally anywhere else on this operator’s platform, we’re not sure why you’d choose to do it with At the Bingo.
