Admiral Casino Sister Sites 2024

Admiral Casino is a little lonely. There are no other casinos on the Greentube Alderney Limited platform, so there aren’t any Admiral Casino sister sites. It’s a less lonely place in the real world, where Admiral operates more than 1,500 shops full of slot machines and a further sixty casinos, but online it’s a different story. The one and only “true” Admiral Casino sister site, Bellfruit Casino, ceased operations in 2021. Its former URL now redirects to Admiral Casino. That leaves Greentube Alderney Limited without any other operational casinos and Admiral Casino standing alone under its parent company’s umbrella. Don’t fret if you’ve come looking for Admiral Casino sister sites, though – we’ve prepared a selection of similar casinos that you may wish to consider. Think of them as “alternative” Admiral Casino sister sites.

William Hill

William Hill logo

Throwing the famous name of William Hill into the ring as a stand-in Admiral Casino sister site might sound a little far-fetched, but bear with us here. William Hill is more like Admiral Casino than you might initially think. Both brands have both an online and offline presence. Both of them began life in the physical world long before they entered the digital realm. Admiral Casino might not be as big a name to players in the UK as William Hill is, but anyone who occasionally plays slots in person in their home town or city is likely to have come across an Admiral outlet before just as surely as they’ll have encountered a branch of William Hill. William Hill’s product range goes further and deeper than Admiral Casino’s does – especially when you consider the massive sportsbook at William Hill – but the two brands have a lot in common.

Gala Bingo

Gala Bingo logo

We’re sticking with the theme of casinos that have a physical presence as well as a digital one, and we’ll continue to do so for the remainder of this list of potential Admiral Casino sister sites. We wouldn’t believe you if you told us that you’d never heard of Gala Bingo. There’s a Gala Bingo just about everywhere there’s a Mecca Bingo – and that covers a lot of ground. It was the storming success of Gala Bingo after its launch in 1990 that allowed the creation of the Gala Bingo casino website. In turn, that later allowed the creation of Gala Spins and Gala Casino. Admiral Casino isn’t yet in a position where it can even dream of success on so grand a level, but Gala Bingo almost offers it a template that it could work from. This is one of the best-known and most trusted casino sites in the United Kingdom, which means it comes with some of the country’s busiest bingo rooms. Yes, we know that Admiral Casino doesn’t offer bingo, but did we mention that Gala Bingo also offers slots? Plus you can get from Gala Bingo to either Gala Spins or Gala Casino with a single click.

Betfred

Betfred logo

What can be said about Betfred that hasn’t been said already? This is a casino brand that was started by one man in his hometown many decades ago but now holds a rightful place as one of the biggest names in gambling in the UK. Betfred is still a big name on the British high street – just as Admiral Casino is – but the online aspect of Betfred’s business has become just as important to the brand’s owners in recent years. If you haven’t checked out the Betfred website for a little while and don’t keep up with casino news, you might not be aware that Betfred has expanded way beyond its original sporting portfolio. It now does just about everything any player could possibly want a modern casino website to do, and that includes accepting bets on virtual sports as well as providing bingo, lotto, poker, and online slots to members. Betfred is a good alternative Admiral Casino sister site because it would be a good alternative sister site for just about any casino you could name. It’s an excellent all-rounder.

Playojo

Playojo logo

If you’re looking for all-rounders – and we presume you are, because if any Admiral Casino sister sites existed, they’d likely be decent all-rounders – you can’t do much better than PlayOJO. This is one of the nation’s most popular casino sites, and yet it isn’t really a casino site. If PlayOJO could speak and you could ask it what it specialises in, it would probably say bingo. The truth is that it handles both bingo and casino games excellently and does a whole lot more on top of that. One of the things that attracts players to PlayOJO in their thousands is the way that the casino dispenses bonuses and perks. No matter whether it’s your first visit to PlayOJO or your thousandth, any bonuses or promotions you use while you’re playing on the site come free of any sticky wagering requirements or anything else that might get in the way of your being able to withdraw them. It’s not just a great iGaming site – it’s a very fair one, too.

Mr Q

Mr Q logo

Mr Q’s rise to prominence has been a stunning thing to watch. It came from nowhere to become one of the UK’s biggest casinos almost overnight. Nothing happens in the world of iGaming by accident, though, and the secret behind Mr Q’s rapid climb is a combination of its excellent quality and the fact that its owners have the resources to spend big money on television commercials. Mr Q was extensively promoted when it arrived in the UK marketplace, which led to a rush of sign-ups at the casino, but most of the players who signed up to Mr Q when it was new have decided to stick around. That’s a sure sign that this brand is doing something right. Aside from its popularity, Mr Q makes a great choice for an alternative list of Admiral Casino sister sites because it has something specific in common with Admiral Casino – both are the “only children” of their owners. Mr Q is owned by Lindar Media Limited, and the operator has no other active brands in the UK.

Admiral Casino News

: The Admiral Casino sister sites are adept at spotlighting the most engaging games for their members, and this week, they have focused on the online video slot Luck of the Dead from Greentube, released on December 25, 2023. Despite its seemingly ominous title, this game offers an intriguing blend of themes and mechanics that could spell good fortune for players. Set against a backdrop of the Mexican Day of the Dead celebrations, this game merges the vibrant festival’s visuals with the thrill of scratch card gaming, encapsulated in a 3 x 3 layout with five bet ways. Luck of the Dead promises high variance gameplay, where players can win up to 1000 times their stake, creating significant win potential through a straightforward yet exhilarating experience.

The game increases the suspense with multipliers that can increase the rewards during play. Furthermore, the game’s graphics and theme are meticulously crafted to evoke the rich, colourful atmosphere of the Day of the Dead celebrations, complete with candles, skulls, and flowers, making it a visually appealing choice for players seeking a thematic adventure in their gaming experience. Admiral Casino’s promotion of this dynamic game underscores their commitment to providing their community with games that are not only fun but also visually and mechanically rich. This game, with its unique blend of cultural celebration and gaming thrill, is poised to capture the interest of players looking for something beyond the traditional slot experience, but if this isn’t your cup of tea, there are plenty of other more classic games in the library.

Admiral Casino Review 2024

Admiral Casino is a name to be reckoned with in the real world. It operates in multiple countries and has more than 1500 outlets. Most of those outlets stock nothing other than slot machines, but there are also over 60 full-sized casinos. On top of that, Admiral Casino operates multiple “electronic” casinos in Serbia. It’s a name with global appeal, but none of this necessarily means that its success has translated over to its official online slots website. That website is operated by Greentube Alderney Limited, and this review will tell you how we see it.

Admiral Casino sister sites homepage

Admiral Casino Welcome Offers

The welcome offer at Admiral Casino comes with 40 free spins and offers a maximum of £200 in 100% matched deposit funds. To qualify for it, players must make an initial deposit of between £10 and £100. Bonus funds are allocated to the player’s account immediately, and so are the 40 free spins. The spins can only be redeemed on certain games, so we advise players to pay attention if they’re using this offer as they could easily end up using up their bonus funds or cash deposit if they’re not careful. All rewards expire within seven days if they’re not used. A wagering restriction of x35 is in place for all bonus funds generated by the matched deposit, but any winnings from free spins are restriction-free.

Monthly Promotions

We hope you liked the sound of the Admiral Casino welcome promotion because it’s the only promotion you’re getting from this casino. Until 2023, Admiral Casino had a loyalty reward scheme called the Monthly Cash Drop, which saw players accrue points for all their play throughout the month and then have bonus cash awarded to them at the beginning of the following month based on the number of points that they’d accrued. This promotion has now been withdrawn, leaving the sign-up offer as the casino’s only promotion. This might have something to do with the UKGC making it known that it’s philosophically opposed to VIP reward schemes, but it’s hard to argue that Admiral Casino’s loyalty scheme was a VIP programme of the kind that the regulator has in mind.

Pros and Cons

Playing at Admiral Casino means that you have the backing of a big-name brand. It’s not a fly-by-night operator that might up and vanish tomorrow. That means you should be able to feel confident about how you’ll be treated and the safety of your money. On top of that, there’s a live casino and dealer section of the digital Admiral Casino. You don’t even get that at some real-world Admiral shops.

Looking at the other side of playing at Admiral Casino, we’re disappointed with the comparatively limited number of online slots. Admiral specialises in slots in real life, but 350 or so is way below par for an online slots casino in the current era. The lack of clarity about withdrawal times is also disappointing, but there’s enough information for us to be able to confirm that Admiral takes three business days just to process a withdrawal request before the money starts moving. Between the lack of games and the slow withdrawals, it’s all just a little underwhelming.

Featured Slots and Casino Games

Admiral Casino isn’t fortunate enough to have a massive range of providers open to it. It works with just a handful, and so its overall range is quite limited. Perhaps that’s why Greentube Alderney Limited has taken to creating slots of its own. Those slots tend to dominate the “most popular” section of the Admiral Casino website.

Book of Ra: This isn’t the most original of choices of name for an online slots game, but the Egyptian theme isn’t the most original of themes, either. Book of Ra is a basic “Book of” slot with an expanding symbols mechanic within free spins and a “double or quits” gamble feature that could either double or totally cost you your most recent winnings. It’s been around since 2004 and looks every bit of its age and comes with a behind-the-times RTP of 92.13%. Between that and the high volatility, Book of Ra represents a bad deal.

Lucky Lady’s Charm Deluxe: This is another Greentube online slots game, albeit a far more recent one with a release year of 2019. That explains why the RTP is higher at 95.13%, even though 95.13% is still low by modern standards. The main appeal of this simple-looking bright pink online slots game is that any wins you might score with the wild symbol double in value, and the doubling effect increases to a tripling effect during free spins. The same “double or nothing” gamble that appears in so many Greentube slots also appears here, and volatility is once again high.

Columbus Deluxe: Christopher Columbus is a famous figure for the fact that he didn’t discover America but got all of the credit for it anyway. He’s less well-known for being the star of this Greentube online slots game, which is another blast from the past. It was released in 2008. It’s another one with basic visuals and little in the way of memorable features, but it does offer free spins and the usual double or nothing Greentube gamble. RTP is 95.02%, and variance is slightly below average.

Admiral Casino Venue

You’ll find slots far more modern than these in the “arcade” section of the Admiral Casino website, and elsewhere there’s blackjack, roulette, table games, and a well-turned-out live casino.

Deposit and Withdrawal Methods

If it’s true that knowledge is power, then Admiral Casino is a little weak when it comes to the quantity of information it provides about its withdrawal turnarounds. The casino allows you to make deposits using Mastercard or Visa debit cards, Paysafe voucher cards, Trustly’s instant bank transfer service, or a Skrill, Neteller, or PayPal e-wallet. The range of deposit options isn’t an issue. The lack of clarity about withdrawals is.

Admiral Casino will not commit to a standard turnaround time for withdrawals. Their website says only that it takes 72 hours for withdrawal requests to be processed. That means there isn’t a single withdrawal method available that will get your money to you in less than three days. Add the usual 3-5 days that come with debit card withdrawals to that, and you could be looking at a wait of well over a week. There’s absolutely no good reason why e-wallet withdrawals should be so slow.

Customer Support and License

Admiral Casino can’t be faulted on the quality or comprehensiveness of customer service that it offers. Players who’d like to speak to someone over the phone can do so by calling 0800 069 8921 between 7am and 9pm, but there’s also live chat between 10am and 6.30pm if you’d rather not do that. Failing both options, you could always email [email protected]. The casino is covered by the UK Gambling Commission licence that Greentube Alderney Limited holds under reference number 39050. The same licence would cover all Admiral Casino sister sites if any existed.

Admiral Casino – The Verdict

Admiral Casino is OK. It’s so-so. It’s all right. Of all the online casinos that we’ve ranked at three out of five stars, this is the most “three out of five stars” of them. There’s nothing spectacularly wrong with it, but there’s also nothing special about it either. Perhaps we could say that the presence of a live dealer casino makes it above average, but so many online casinos offer live dealer games now that it’s no longer out of the ordinary – and “ordinary” is the perfect word to sum up our feelings about Admiral Casino.

About Admiral Casino

A Casino With A Wikipedia Presence

Not many online casinos can boast about having a dedicated entry on Wikipedia. It’s an honour normally reserved for only the biggest and brightest casino sites. The Sky Bet group of casinos is mentioned on Wikipedia, as are the 888 Group casinos and a few others, but most network companies will never make it to that level. Somehow – and even the company itself probably isn’t sure exactly how – they’ve bucked that trend. Admiral Casino is listed on Wikipedia. The entry might only be short, but it’s there.

The stub of a Wikipedia entry gives us a limited amount of insight into the history of the company. We’re told that Admiral Casino is a British brand and is best-known for its array of high street gambling venues. It also says “gambling websites,” plural, which is an error. As we said much earlier on, Admiral Casino did once have sister sites but doesn’t any longer. Admiral is identified as being a subsidiary of Luxury Leisure which is, in turn, owned by Novomatic.

The number of Admiral Casino outlets worldwide is listed on the page as 1500. Only around sixty of these venues are “real” casinos – the rest are merely shop fronts with slot machines in them like old coin arcades. The number of these Admiral Casinos jumped up sharply in 2015 when Luxury Leisure bought out its old rival Brian Newton Leisure Limited and rebranded every Sun Valley, Newton’s Amusements and Shopper’s Pride slots site as an Admiral Casino.

Looking further afield, Admiral is claimed by Wikipedia to have 29 “electronic casinos” in the unlikely location of Serbia. What’s actually meant by “electronic casinos” is uncertain, as an electronic casino is surely an online casino, and Admiral has only one of those. Based on the source material that Wikipedia has used, this is likely a translation error. Admiral Casino has 29 physical premises in Serbia, which seems to be a likely explanation. The brand as a whole has been around since 1994, so it’s had a lot of time to expand across the world and conquer new territories.

Admiral Casino – Feel The Flutter

Admiral Casino Advert

Perhaps surprisingly for a brand that isn’t one of the biggest in the UK – or, at least, not one of the biggest online casinos – Admiral embarked on a television commercial campaign in 2021 with a new advert entitled “Feel the Flutter.” The title is a play on words – the “Admiral” in “Admiral Casino” comes from Red Admiral butterflies, and butterflies serve as the brand’s mascots.

The commercial is only 20 seconds long and isn’t especially imaginative. Animated butterflies flutter from the shoulders of one person to another as they sit around in an otherwise-deserted city centre, playing Admiral’s online slots on their mobile phones. From there, the commercial segues into the site’s welcome promotion and concludes by reminding viewers where the website is, and using the “feel the flutter” catchphrase one more time just to drive the message home.

A previous television commercial from 2019 was also focused on Admiral’s promotions and free spins offers but didn’t feature any “real” actors or anything approaching a theme. Instead, it used simple visuals from some of the most popular games on the website accompanied by a voiceover. The commercial was only ever aired late at night and wasn’t around for long, but it has nevertheless racked up an impressive six million views on YouTube. The “Feel The Flutter” ad, by contrast, has achieved only a little over 100 views as of the time of writing.

The Admiral Casino Blog

Like many online casinos, Admiral Casino maintains an active blog on its casino site. There are a couple of reasons that you’ll often see a casino site do this. The first is that it’s an easy way to generate new content and keep Google happy with your website’s performance. The second is that it’s an opportunity to give potential customers a taste of the casino’s personality. There’s only so much personality that that be communicated with a few promotional offers and the descriptions of slots – blogs are free-form and allow their writers to be more expressive.

Upon opening the Admiral Casino blog, we were pleased to find that it’s not just another identikit casino blog page telling us what the latest games are and how we might go about the task of winning money at their website. Instead, some of the recent blog posts at Admiral Casino are genuinely interesting. If you’ve ever wanted to know which territories and countries around the world do or don’t allow gambling, you’ll find out on this page. Another blog article takes a look at the most beautiful “real” casinos in the world, and there’s even a full history of the humble slot machine itself. Sure, the “how to win money” and “how to play online slots” articles are still there, but they’re at least surrounded by things you may actually want to read. Having said that, we found ourselves feeling the same way about the Admiral Casino blog as we did about the Admiral Casino games and slots collection – we wish there was more content to get our teeth into.
